claim ever and after making me wait 2 weeks they rejected my claim to my absolute disbelief. It all looks straightforward and trustworthy when you buy the insurance online. My friend and I flew from Tasmania to Colombia with two different airlines. Our outbound flight with the first airline in Australia was cancelled what resulted in missing our connecting flight from LA to Bogota with the second airline. We had to buy new tickets. My friend made a claim and recovered his portion of the cost of the new ticket through his travel insurance. Luckily for him, he didn’t have his travel insurance with InsureandGo. The table of benefits clearly states: A)Cancelling my trip before departure sum insured $15,000; D)Travel delay expenses up to $1000. I have provided all the necessary supporting documents. I bought my travel insurance in a good faith. I never made a claim in my life before. Now, I feel like I have been tricked by them. As I said, it all looks good and trustworthy but when it comes to a claim, they will throw numerous reasons why they won’t cover. Don’t waste your money.

confidently changed my cover from Gold to Silver after understanding the difference. Medical Cover is the same for gold and silver. I now feel assured I have the right cover for our families. I haven't made a claim yet but the team seem to be responsive to feedback online so have trusted all will be well should I need to make a claim. I paid extra for natural disaster and for $100 excess and it was still good value.

Do not use this Travel Insurance company as they will do everything they can to not pay out on a claim. My Passport was soaked in a rain storm while on a trip to Canada resulting in the electronic chip would not work. could not use our stop overs in the UAE, (3days) and Malaysia, (10 days) as we could not enter those places with an emergency Passport. our flights were cancelled with no refund. We had to re-book flights where we could not leave the international side of the airports to get home. the trip home took 27 hours. We put a claim in with Insure & Go which was knocked back. they told us that if my passport had been stolen or lost they would have paid out. But as my passport was damaged they said they knocked back my claim. It quite clearly states in their advertising, "Cancellations: trip cancellation covers for unforeseen events like injury, illness or because of other reasons outlined in the PDS." Don't trust them!

Easy to compare with other Insure and Go options, a bit on the pricey side but worth it for the inclusions. Tried to purchase using PayPal but it didn’t work, so used credit card instead - still waiting to hear from PayPal that I haven’t been double charged.
