take it up externally and closed the case without resolution. So I did I have made a complaint with the ombudsman. They took almost 200$ falsely yesterday and I was told my internet would be back in an hour it was not then I called back and was told my service was completely disconnected and it would take 5 days to refund my money. I have no internet and no money to reconnect with another service. They do not care and the most disgusting customer service I have ever had.
On a downhill slide – 20+ years with internode. We stayed for so long because they always provided such excellent customer service. We were happy to pay a little more than some of their competitors were charging, knowing they were a reliable and responsive provider. moved offshore, and the lack of customer care, ownership and follow up is astounding. It is almost impossible to get any issue resolved, and there is no consistency in their processes or escalation procedures. Now hunting for a new provider. Enough is enough!
Internode is garbage now! – Got rid of the two node mobiles. Were cheap but never had connectivity. Can't connect to email most of the time now that the "messaging company" has taken over. Average internet connection and objectively terrible customer service – The service is passable when working though drop out's are frequent, but their customer service is objectively poor. Had serious issues setting up the system after signing up with them which were issues with their NBN node, not my property. confirming the error was on their side and subsequently fixing it. I had to pay during that period and regardless of service. They said I was stuck in the contract with them even if the service was not being provided, I was tempted to call the ACCC, but it was rectified and I didn't have the time. Later upon exiting a contract with them they continued to charge me and required me to prove they had before taking three weeks to refund the payment. I have never actively complained about customer service before, but I hope someone sees this and avoids them in future as they clearly have a toxic business and zero care or accountability to their customers
I am a long time and loyal Internode customer for a reason – Internode has been my preferred ISP for about as long as I can remember, and that includes living at several different addresses and moving interstate. relating to where you live, and they're all using the same infrastructure! But when things go wrong, that's where you notice the difference. 24/7 support and talking to someone in Australia, not in Bangalore or Hyderabad. (No offence India!) And not being kept on hold for ages. And being offered a callback if there is a wait.
Yesterday I noticed a dramatic drop in our connection speed. After doing my own trouble-shooting, I gave them a call. (This was on a Sunday night). Got a call back within 20 minutes. The techy (Kyle) didn't just solve the problem for me, but also gave me a number of tips for what I can do in the future. He didn't have to do this, but it was so helpful. (And it probably means I won't have to call support again if I have this problem). Sweet!
Internode's customer service is exceptional. (And their plans are competitively priced too!)
Internode gets the fundamentals right – From a customer's point of view there are only three things required from any internet service provider: Competitive rates, a reliable connection and easy access to help when things go wrong. too frequent for my liking, and when they did occur, too many lasted for a considerable length of time. They were usually caused by some vital piece of hardware ceasing to function. Since around 2011, coinciding with iiNet's buyout of Internode, such outages have become a thing of the past.
As for tech support, I am very happy with it. The technicians are knowledgeable, courteous and patient, and the customer support centre is located in Australia, so there is next to no chance of speaking with a technician whose accent makes him/her difficult to understand.
In short, Internode ticks all the right boxes. All three that count.

What has happened? – Have had internode for years at this address...then suddenly they stopped automatic deductions. So we went to a pay by month invoice. With the new NBN service. Got an SMS that we were being disconnected. Rang immediately and tried to pay over the phone 3 times but it asked for in price number that wasn't correct. Asked for a call back and got one… Read more
that put me on hold again. Finally spoke to someone and gave invoice number and said I wanted to pay. Couldn't do it as my name wasn't on the invoice. Even though we set this up months ago. Then wanted to speak to the account holder whose very I'll. Put them on the line but they couldn't understand her. I asked to be put through to a manager because we rely on the internet for security and health concerns. In the end I just hung up...how is it I can't pay the bill. What they think people are ringing up and paying people's invoices? Have had a number of issues paying in the past few months. Will give it another try tomorrow but it is exhausting and tiring and now we have no internet. At another address we have Aussie broadband and that service seems fine.

A reliable provider with excellent customer service – I've been with Internode since 2014 and have stayed with them because I'm so happy with their service. In particular, it's been great to get details explained to me by people with plenty of patience in language that I can follow and understand as I'm not an expert re technical issues. How many words can I use to say how good the Sales, Support and Accounts teams are - competent, patient, professional, friendly, supportive. Best ISP – There are 2 key differences between ISP's, their internet backbone and customer service. With Internode I get a very stable low latency connection to overseas servers, and if there is ever a problem I can call tech support and they actually answer the phone and help to resolve it. Internode has good customer service and deals – Their basic NBN plan we are on is fine, but what is best about Internode is their customer service. They contacted me with a cheaper deal with faster speeds. They could have left me paying more per month, but they didn't. Great Value for a Great Service – Having enjoyed our NBN service thru Internode for over 12 months we just recently experienced slow speed. Continuous drop out – My internet keeps dropping out. Yes I have hard wired Ethernet. Yep I have rebooted my router. Yep reset everything including my shoes! I then had my router reset externally by internode tech support without my knowledge. I lose all my settings. Show details

Good stable connection all the time – Never experienced dropouts. Speed is constant at about 10 mbps which is what we were told we would get. When I needed to call the support people were more than helpful the couple of times that I had to recycle my modem in 3 years. I will move to unlimited broadband shortly. I have the 500gig plan and we have our grandchildren streaming movies so occasionally we come close to our limit. Show details · 1
