last week, I select a couple of items to collect the following day, Friday 13th. Went to the store, not open, sign saying temporarily closed, came back again Saturday 14th, same story closed up with everyone's orders inside. Now no web site, customer service, no phones answered here or interstate. Contacted Westfield management - they have no idea what is happening. It is obvious that they have closed for good now - but to close early and staff let go and people with items waiting to be picked up, let alone click and collect orders not being able to get access to. I have supported Ishka for years, everything in my wardrobe and home has been purchased from their shop plus online. Just be honest with your loyal customers and staff and let everyone know that it has goods people have paid for and they will not received. A lot of other stores throughout Aust have also closed, after receiving messages and texts re closing , to close and take money from customers, knowing they are closing is a rip off and blatant cheating and stealing - if we did that we would be in gaol! So as your store states - I hope the Karma comes back to you BIG TIME. You need to let people know - be honest!!! You had the most beautiful staff and beautiful products - can't believe it.

them it's their legal obligation to replace a faulty good sold in Australia, they told me they were not going to help. I have lodged this with consumer protection. Please don't support this company, their unapologetic way of ripping off people and blatant uncaring manner is something I would truly hate anyone else having to experience. I can see from all their negative reviews that I'm not the only one they are doing this with and I urge those who have had issues to also lodge unlawful behaviour with consumer protection. use the sarongs in summer after swimming or for hideous Melbourne hot days and you just need something light on - but I also wear them in the bathroom when applying lotions - so comfortable, and they work well for this so I will keep my eye on the sales and stock up.
The sale was great. There is alot there if you are into this particular type of style. A bit too much for me but I still found some things there to my taste.
One of the sarongs I purchased I will also use as a tablecloth as it's so lovely, bright and colorful so I'll keep going back when sales are on so I can change up a look of a room pretty quick with a different cloth. They had a lot of clothes (again not really my style) but the store was well stocked and staff were nice. Keep an eye on the discounts offered as they change often and sometimes the staff aren't aware of them - I had to notify the staff of the actual discount (50% in lieu of 30% discount they applied) but they were great on rectifying the error.

heavily marked up prices, then call it a 'sale' – The items are heavily marked up in comparison to similar stores, very over priced, an example is $111 for a couch throw cushion? yesterday, to be told by the young retail staff member that she would check with her manager. The manager didn’t even bother to come and chat with me but rather sent the young retail worker to tell me that I can’t exchange or refund the item but that they have some in stock and I could purchase another one. What a joke. I would like to see a copy of their returns and refund policy. Poor quality product, poor outcome from “management”, they seem quite happy to waste customers money and then offer for you to waste some more money. is a trip hazard for my husband that has cancer and nerve damage on his legs. I tried ringing many times the online and left message with no response I did send an email and got response but still have to wait for a decision.. so I took the rugs back to the store to exchange for two flat rugs and I did tell the lady before coming in I needed cream colour but when I got to the store there were no two same rugs to exchange and for the shop assistant to tell me I can get something else in store . Tricky Sales Tactic – 50% off sale - signage everywhere - yet at point of sale they tell you "you have to sign up for membership to get the discount". I was very annoyed to see they'd put this important notice in VERY TINY WRITING at the bottom of the sign - scarcely noticeable. Shabby. Give them a fake number as a reward for their transparency.
Constant harassment – I was signed up to a loyalty program to obtain a discount. 1 week later I had 15 emails and 2 text messages. I’ve tried twice to unsubscribe from the mailing list and I’ve text STOP to the secondary number provided twice. And I’m still getting messages. I guess I will have to physically go into the store and get the poor shop assistant to work it out. I’m am never buying from them again 100% sure my details are also sold.

Friendly staff bad customer policy ! – I wanted to purchase a water bottle with no price tag and was told it was $17-50 . Your online store has it for $7-50 as I receive all your emails. was interested in . The staff member apologised and said they were waiting on new samples, but also there was a problem with samples being stolen.
I understand the theft problem having been in retail myself in similar type of store where I sold essential oils, and perfumes etc. I solved that issue by keeping sample stock behind the counter and leaving a sign up that told people to ask at the counter for a sample or tester.
Would love to see more stock of larger sizes - I am a size 20-24 and there is hardly any stock for my size - other companies have stock of larger sizes, so come on Ishka BIG IS BEAUTIFUL too you know :)
