“clean,” and the other wiped over the kitchen cupboard doors and two wooden doors.

The person who mopped the floors used plain water only, no product at all. After they left, I did a walk‑through and discovered the ensuite hadn’t been cleaned. The shower screen looked like it had been given a quick wipe at best, and dust was still on the floor. Nothing I requested was properly completed.

I refuse to pay for a service that wasn’t delivered—not even halfway delivered. I will never use this company again. Lazy doesn’t begin to describe it.

despite registering a request for a quote on their site on Monday the 19th January and leaving a follow up message there has been no response. The lack of professional courtesy in appalling.

We got Trevor from Highfields to do our backyard area and he did an amazing job!! Cleaned up all the branches and leaves on the shed roof and took away all the debris. Cleaned out gutters and layed out fresh mulch for us! Highly recommend ☺️

Apology review – I placed a review for Jamie's work yesterday. At the time, I was feeling very frustrated and should not have included "lazy" as Jamie's work was always very good. A very nice gesture – I am an old guy just on 80 years old and I use a mobility scooter to walk my dog, and just the other day I took my dog for a walk as usual and this James guy was mowing a lawn in Tolga North Qld about 7.30 AM and my track is through some fairly heavy grassed areas along side where he was mowing, we gave each other a nod, good morning and went on… Read more

Terrible job had to redo the whole house head office told me not to touch anything but never back from them as they where trying to contact the cleaner but phone switched off

A cleaner from James services came to my home. He started cleaning the bathrooms and then went onto the kitchen area. I did not think about it much at the time because he said that he always starts from the hardest areas first. What I saw next nearly blew my mind. He was there for a period of 3 hours and he really did a bad job, for example, he failed to clean the shower properly cupboards in the kitchen was still dirty. All appointments with the company have been cancelled and I will never use them again.

Northern Gold Coast area where we have lived for many years chose not to fully undertake the work. It was also referenced that he does not know until he gets to properties about the job, but for us the client that is irrelevant in terms of the agreement. In this job situation it was known about the scope of work, it was calculated about how long it would take to complete and therefore the requirements were already understood by all at least 10 days earlier and the weather was not a hinderance while he was undertaking this job. Our family had planned a family and friends Chrstmas function and wanted to have the environment looking tidy but were left disappointed as the job was not ultimately completed. It was a unilateral decision by James Home Services to not complete the task on the day agreedwhen he drove away from the property. Additionally, this lawn cutting and maintenance company franchisee deemed my friendly reminder of a text message in which I needed to know whether he was still attending to the job as a negative input. Furthermore, he patronised me in a phone conversation, spoke in an arrogant tone, even after not undertaking the job completely, used an arrogant approach about my ability to read his ambiguous message while referencing my profession and said, " I do not need the money." This was also a customer unfriendly stance since it manifests deeper and underlying attitudes too from the James Home Services franchisee. The way that he spoke was disrespectful and then cutting the phone call proved that he did not like it that he was approached about how he conducted this arrangement. I easily identified and recognised that the franchisee was using reverse psychology on me by pretending it was me to blame for him not been an honest broker in this particular issue. We have forthwith terminated the agreement for this business to undertake anymore work for us.

Con Artist – If I could give zero stars, I would. This man, [Name Removed], is scum. He damaged the garage door of my apartment complex by illegally trying to access the building without buzzing in and trying to follow another car into the garage. Why he did this I have no idea! though we have CCTV footage of him doing the damage. He also asked my friend to pay him only in cash. I am assuming this was so that he wouldn’t have to pay tax, and now he can’t make an insurance claim because he never logged the job officially. He’s bad news! Stay away from this business!

Exceptional job with cleaning oven – I contacted Peter at short notice to clean my daughters oven as it took me an hour to clean just the door!! He was very responsive with text messages and emails and came out the very next day! I haven’t had an oven professionally cleaned before so had no idea how long it would take. brown "stains " off!! Hard to believe that they even tried to clean them. The 1 star is because they managed to get the stains out of the mattresses they were also asked to clean.

Terrible Cleaners however good at spraying smelly stuff and stamping a toilet roll – Floors were dirty in the bathroom and zero window edges were cleaned they did not dust as regarded so much dust on bedhead as they were lazy. Terrible ! Don’t Go Near These Guys – Broke a glass shelf in our shower. Franchise owner (Ashfield franchise) wouldn’t put it through his insurance and forced the cleaner to pay. Car detail - overpriced car wash and interior clean – I had my car detailed by the North Lakes mob recently. I was quoted $150 for a sedan which was reasonable. They arrived on time and setup. After about an hour and half I was told they were done with the car so I went out to inspect it. All the equipment had been packed away at this stage. The channels of the boot seals were still dirty-they had been wiped but not properly cleaned. The rims of the car still had road grime in the corners. The team leader seemed to take offence to the fact that I had pointed it out and was expecting it to be rectified.

Personally if I were cleaning a car and there was visible dirt remaining I would remove it-otherwise it's not clean, even if you wiped some of it away.

Bad experience – I actually had a franchise with them and they were not supportive at all... I would have done better organising my own advertising because there's is really all about their company. They only wanted the weekly payments and there meetings werw a waste of time. I'm so glad I left that stupid company

them that if it was going to be more then the original quote to not worry about it and the response I received was "we will honour the quote since we are here and might has well do it anyway". I was then contacted during the day to be advised that they had damaged their equipment and even though it was apparently my fault they would not pass the costs on to me. If they had done their job correctly and completed a walk through of the site to check the layout of my block they would have saved their equipment. Once all was completed, and I was provided the invoice it even gave special mention that I had damaged their equipment and that they were not passing the cost on to me. Which is incredibly unprofessional. Later through mutual friends i was advised that pictures of my property were posted on their PERSONAL Facebook page not their business of a before and after. It was simply before shots stating "when not even a ride on can handle it". This was done without my permission and was very insulting to shame me to their family and friends. I contacted Head Office and had to ask twice for the posts to be removed before they actually were. I was never apologized to by the owners. The Head Office apologized but the owners believe they have done nothing wrong and were quite rude to me.

I will never recommend this service or any James service as other franchises commented on my photos because if that's how they treat customers knowing full well its paid work their ethics are disgusting.

Unhappy – Called for a quote was an hour late then I rang to see where he was. He finally came said he would email quote never heard from him again. North Richmond NSW
