Comfort Personified – We fell in love with our JLNewport sofa but took a few days to actually go back to the store to buy it. The sales person was just lovely, not pushy or intimidating. The sofa was delivered to our home and unpacked and assembled by the delivery men. We can’t believe just how comfortable it is. Show details ·  1

Never Associating With This Company Again – I purchased the ‘Harper Warm Charcoal Right Sofa’ last week as a present for Mother’s Day. I went home and proceeded to measure out my house and decided the lounge was too big and wouldn’t fit. and multiple phone calls later, they still haven’t come forward to offer me a simple refund. I don’t understand if they realise what they did was against the law, you cannot not provide a service and keep the money I used to purchase said service. I didn’t receive my lounge, therefore, I should be refunded and we move on. However, it seems like they’re doing whatever possible to keep a hold of my money, possibly hoping I’ll forget about it in the long run. I paid $3000+ I’m not forgetting and I want my money back. This experience has made me distrust this company entirely and I’ll be sure to stay clear and warn others the same as well.

Month warranty that it must have been damaged by a cleaning product or wear and tear, I was not happy with this type of customer service and requested to speak to her manager as i did not agree ..

The bite Group - ( [name removed] ) I received a call from [name removed] to be advised the same thing... That the table top has only got a 12 Month warranty that it must have been damaged by a cleaning product or wear and tear

Note : I had explained in my email That the table top is only cleaned with a damp cloth, not exposed to sunlight and never used on that side of the table see below pictures, I did not want the table top replaced just repaired which I was denied

I feel this is very poor after sales customer service after purchasing 8 x chairs and a table To only last 18 Months Note : The table is only used on the RHS where the Blue X are marked not where the table is fading away

Will not be buying from James Lane again ...

This is perfect! Especially the Mimi which I absolutely love – We were looking for a sofa that was firm and we could not really find one. We came to James Lane and absolutely loved all the products. But we were in two minds with the Mimi and the Xander. I loved the Mimi, but the other two liked the Xander the best. We eventually chose Mimi 2 and 3 seaters. Show details ·  1

Como Lounge Review – I purchased two Como lounges 2 years apart from each other. Whilst the lounges are comfortable after two years the fabric is worn and looks horrible. linen covers only have a 2 year life before wearing. What a disaster!! Who is going to pay $2000 every two years for new covers? Such a waste and very disappointed. I strongly recommend you do not buy these cheap lounges as they are not value for money.

Don't buy from this company, they take your money to deliver and dump on your front door – We recently purchased a lounge from this company, pre-paid for it and the delivery. Yesterday I came home to see the lounge in a carton blocking my front door. The delivery people dropped it there telling my wife they could not deliver it inside my home because it did not fit in through our front door while in the carton, they did state that that… Read more

if you remove it from the carton, you and your husband can carry it into the house yourselves. They did not offer to remove it from the carton and carry it into our house. When I spoke to the manager he offered, "I can come over to your house and we can carry it in together". I have now paid for someone else to come to my home, unpack the lounge and carry it in through my front door, ( it is too heavy for my wife and I ). Their defence - It is up to the customer to confirm it fits through their front door. My answer - it will fit through the front door without the packaging which we were never made aware of from the store when ordering it and measuring the display unit. ( We confirmed it would fit before ordering it). In summation, they are happy to take your money and supply you with poor service.

it (there was a wait but it wasn’t a issue and the warehouse was located close to our home) about an hour later we came back to the store and bought the lounge set and some pillows. It’s a shame other stores don’t have amazing customer service. We bought $700.00 more then we would’ve because of the fantastic staff. I would definitely recommend this store to anyone looking to purchase affordable quality furniture.
