What a lemon. I had a new motor within 2 weeks of using took 6 weeks to get the motor with no guarantee. Sewed only cottons. Now bunching when sewing at the bobbin. Do not know what to do. Did I buy a machine that was used for demo? I don't know bought it as new from Patchwork shop. Good luck!

Bought 6600P in 2011. Sewed well for several years. Problems started with pulling of material and presser foot didn't have enough tension. Took to repair shop, worked well for regular sewing but then quilting foot didn't engage properly and could not use. Took back and fixed again and both regular sewing and walking foot worked beautifully for about 6 weeks. Then both problems returned. HELP Is it the repair shop or the machine?

Hi Kitty Remove the pressure plate and give it a good clean, especialing where the feed dogs are. I have had my machine for many years and it hasn't missed a beat. Lint builds up and goes quite hard under the pressure plate and will give you similar problems to what you are having. Happy sewing.

Probably will not help I did that 4 times took plate off dusted etc. The newer 1 to 2 year old machines are not as good as the ones had for years sorry to say. This batch were lemons.

Hi

I have the Memory Craft 6600, I haven't actually used it for embroidery yet (haven't had a chance) but I do Shirring with it. My question is, is there a way to tighten the bobbin tension? The manual shows you how to tighten/loosen the needle tension but not the bobbin tension.

Thanks

Karen

I have not had the need to alter the bobbin tension, I patchwork and quilt and find the Tension Regulator Dial meets all my requirements so far. I hope you are able to find a solution.
