I have this same issue with a brand new belt pout on today. E100 1 year old. The bracket I see other use to tighten the belt is welded to the deck. Not sure How this can be fixed.

Only used this new E100 and the belts won’t stay on. I’m very disappointed with this product already having issues with the belt. How can I get this fixed? It is only two weeks old

HI Steve, This is only a simple adjustment. Call the dealer and they should attend to it promptly. It was probably missed in the pre delivery where they assemble the mower. Good Luck!

The experts say to put a smaller belt on the deck belt: 1/2" x 103" A simple fix--but the real question is: why didn't anybody figure this out a long time ago? Have we lost our collective ingenuity? So many posts about a loose deck belt... I hope this helps!

I have a series 100 115 automatic John deer Rider and it stops pulling after 15 to 20 mins does anyone know what could be causing it?

Almost certainly the gearbox is worn. It can be fixed by getting some machining done when the gearbox is removed and disassembled. It cost me $600 for a machine that I had just paid $1400 for.
