What about the blade drive belt - belts are between $30 and $80 on ebay
Purchased Z335E Zero Turn $4450. Added a rear catcher with 2 bags $950. DUST shower makes it impossible to enjoy. Changed to the recommended Blades with no better result. DUST showers me within minutes. Tried other blades without success. What can it be? Ready to return to the dealer! Now have sinus, chest infection, tender hearing.
Contact your John Deere dealer on this matter is first suggestion. I suspect you have poor quality grass which may be making the problem much worse than normal. Maybe if so much dust side throw the little bit of grass you have and return it to the lawn to thicken it so less dust in future.
Most brands of mowers are going to give you a good dusting, a lot of air is moved in the process of loading the catcher and there is nothing better to stir up dust.
Finally maybe the solution is to have a contract mowing service to cut your grass/dust.
Has the eat rack series mowers have a mulching kit as an option?
