the response was unsatisfactory. An independent technician visit was arranged, during which various reasons were suggested for the issues with our lounge, including concerns about kids sitting on the edge playing video games and lying on the couch. However, these reasons were irrelevant to our usage, and the technician's assessment seemed inaccurate. Despite multiple attempts to discuss the matter directly with the company, a follow-up call from Customer Service on 27 February provided no resolution. Instead, I was told that my usage of the couch was not in line with its intended purpose and that it was not suitable for long periods of lounging, something I should have known before purchase. This limitation was never communicated by the sales assistant during the purchase process.
Overall, I have lost faith in the quality and durability of this product, and I would not recommend Johnny's Furniture to others.

don’t care at all about the damaged unit that they delivered and try to settle the issue by doing a negligible amount of partial refund while i had paid about 870$ for the unit, totally unacceptable, it is not my fault for them to deliver a damaged unit and neither i ordered a damaged unit. Very unprofessional the way they treat the case and looks like the person who is responding to emails takes it as a matter of winning arguments not really trying to solve the customer issue

Regretful purchase! – Unfortunately this couch does not hold up. Shows obvious wear and tear after like a month of purchasing. Fabric has stretched and looks saggy and even after fluffing up (twice a day), the moment it is sat on, looks the same. Made a report through the claim department but they said that it was normal for the Paige to look like this. Doesn’t make sense when the couch in store looks perfect and is probably sat on all the time. Super disappointed :(

Johnnys where they sent through a technician almost a month after call who upon inspection advised sofa could be repaired dont know how that was possible as it would be cheaper to replace then repair seeing the extent of damage and by then husband had cut the metal springs as this was causing further damage and because of this voided warranty which we get and CEO of Johnnys advised that they will get back to us with resale value as a credit/refund but it was going to take some time really? And to this day still havent heard anything. Have lodged complaint with Fair Trading and also a A current affair to ensure nationally NO ONE buys from here. delivery of the chairs so we decided to change our selection and Alisha helped us sort this out without any drama. She gave us options (which we love) and applied the same discount we got from our original order.
The best thing about Johnny's is that they are very flexible when it comes to the deliveries. We were given choices on which day and time it is convenient for us to receive the furnitures. Sam/Alisha/Samra made sure we got them on the promised window. The delivery guys gave us updates via SMS on how far they are from my place. Assembly is quick and they have cleaned up after.
We love our new furnitures! Quality is great and we feel they are not overpriced like the other stores.
Overall, the experience is very positive and will definitely buy from them again!
Great Sofa at reasonable prices – Went in to the Campbelltown with my wife to look for a new sofa for our apartment. After that Shanjida help us with booking in for a delivery that same week. Shanjida and Bert were so nice just to talk with and have a chat during the whole time there :D Delivery came that same week, delivery guys wee very helpful and skilled at getting it in our elevator and down our somewhat narrow corridor.
After unpacking it all and putting it in the right place in the living room, sitting down on it felt soo good.
Even today it still feels great, doesn't have any weird sagging or stitching coming loose.
Would definitely recommend go to this store and seeing Shanjida and Bert, they make the process super simple and are great to have a chat with.

Really disappointed! 6 months out of warranty and the furniture is falling apart how convenient – 6 months out of warranty and the furniture is falling apart… how convenient. showed the small pieces of wood coming out from the top where we sit, then they said it’s due to wear and tear (as per the email attached).
The bed frames we brought for the kids have already started falling apart.
The dining table (already replaced) is falling apart again and starting to crack
Service: they never respond and barely Care.
I can’t stop you from going there to buy furniture, but please consider my story and make sure you are willing to take on that risk. We spent close to 10k in that store…
Now [Name Removed] from the store was kind over to phone and arranged for the company to review this claim, this isn’t an attack on her, but a complaint about the quality of the furniture.

was told mid to late May with no guarantees. This is absolutely outrageous! I can get the same table from other companies for a similar price and in stock. The only reason we used these guys was they had a sale on. If we had any idea on the 'supplier delays', we would never have purchased from Johnny's. The fact that not one person has contacted us to advise of anything and we've had to chase everytime with still a [Content Removed] response. Avoid at all costs. They sent me a faulty item they didn't fixed it – I purchased a console table, a dining set and a lounge at MARSDEN PARK last year, 2023 of September. The item was delivered on January 29 2024, and they assembled the console table, dining and half of the lounge. The delivery guy said they couldn’t assemble the other half as it was FAULTY. There are no holes to put in the legs of the sofa. He said he would communicate the issue to the warehouse, and someone would call me to arrange the date to install the legs.
Today, the 2nd of March, the issue hasn't been fixed. I’ve been in contact with the claim and store, emails, calls and texts but never been resolved. Now I can no longer can contact any of them.

We love our sofas – We purchased the Rae corner suite, along with the Rae 2 seater, and 3 seater. Pricing (30% off) couldn't be matched anywhere else (we'd looked for months), and as stock levels were good, we were able to receive all pieces in less than a week.
