Beyond a joke – I wish I could give 0 stars. Waited 7 months for a lounge we purchased in full. We have 4 children and sat on camp chairs all this time. Disgusting to know they knew they were taking peoples money and couldn’t provide the products. Now they are liquidating! If your here looking for answers Go into store and take what you have paid for before everything is gone. They can’t do a thing about it. It’s not stealing if you have paid for it.

Get your money back now. They are closing down – Guys. I am hearing everywhere Johnny is doing a dodgy and going to shut down his business and get bought out. So he will do a Phoenix operation . us that they’ve determined it was broken under “excessive force” and won’t cover any repairs or offer any resolution.

Firstly - “excessive force” is not listed as an exclusion in their terms and conditions of their warranty.

Secondly, who determines excessive force caused the damage and not poor quality materials or workmanship?

There was also NO evidence provided with this claim. Just “ Thank you for your patience as I have obtained the technician's report.I have reviewed the findings from Amy and the technician and the technician has confirmed that the damage is as a result of excessive force. For this reason we are unable to offer any resolve. We hope that you understand. Thank you kindly!”

We are a professional couple in our late 20s, who are very busy. This lounge is not used frequently, least of all with “excessive force”.

We’ve alerted them to our intention to pursue legal advice, engage fair trading and go to NCAT if required. If anybody would like to AVOID having to do that, stay far far away from these absolute turkeys… and tell all your friends, dogs and their cousins goldfish.

Fair Trading states, products must be of an acceptable quality, that is: safe, lasting and with no faults, look acceptable and do all the things someone would normally expect them to do. ‘Acceptable quality’ means what would normally be expected for the type of product and cost. Products must also: ● match descriptions made by the salesperson, on packaging and labels, and in promotions or advertising ● be fit for the purpose the business told you it would be fit for, and for any purpose that you made known to the business before purchasing ● meet any extra promises made about performance, condition and quality, such as lifetime guarantees, and money back offers

Clearly a mistakes been made and it may have been us purchasing from these scammers but don’t be as silly as us! Stay away from them.

Many people having the same problem and commenting on Facebook posts to warn others but they are just having their comments deleted.

call to resolve the issue. At my request, I've now received a call from the department. They have offered a partial refund. Which is unacceptable to me given their images are very misleading, and this is the only reason for wanting to return the sofa. Had the images been accurate I would not be returning the sofa. I will now proceed to the ACCC and ombudsman. Such a shame you have to almost force a business to do the right thing. The misleading images remain live on their website. Beware.

UPDATE: They are not providing their names for my ombudsman report.

for a month, we were told there was no delivery truck available. That is not my problem especially when you have taken a delivery fee up front. They eventually cold called me and said delivery can be this weekend - again no communication of time or even time frame until the night before. A budget truck and two highly new delivery guys struggled bringing the item in. Grateful my items actually came but I would not purchase from here again and I urge anyone who values their sanity and hard earned money not to.

communicate any of this personal, rely on me using tracker myself. I have reached out to the online team and have had no response, I don't know how much longer I can each food in my lap while I wait the endless time for my table. I spent all the money I had on this table, now I can't even afford to replace it. It seems awfully convenient that you can't see reviews on their FB page or website. are not honouring the on line deal and deliberately pushing us back. We bought it for a great sale price at the time which I believe would now be less than cost and they are deliberately not honouring or servicing the order. Such a terrible business practise. I will be lodging a fraudulent business complaint with fair trading. They are still selling these chairs on line with the same mis leading 4-16 week delivery information.

cancelled ticket e mails , which they are trying to blame my computer for . And when they do return my e mails they are very non commit all. This has now gone on for weeks , it is just all a scam and they have no intention of providing any service at all. I have lodged a complaint with the ACCC , and I’m also in the process of taking legal action . Do not buy from this company , they are not reputable . warehouse which was an additional 35min away, so I ordered a table online in March , I tried to pick up 3 weekends as their weekday pick up times makes it merely impossible to pick up since they close at 2pm and everyone is working. 2 weekends in a row warehouse was closed 3rd weekend I asked if I can pick up and got no response then the following week when I asked they said my order was picked up ? Not sure how if I never picked the order up, so then they said they will work out what has happened it’s been a few weeks and I have tried every possible way to contact Johnnys and guess what no response , no effort to even call me and apologise and find a solution instead keep me wondering what is going on. Be careful buying online with these guys as your order will disappear and no one has made an effort to refund for the product t . I have had to ask now for a refund in countless emails and no response , the last time I ever purchase anything from Johnnys . Pretty disappointed. I’ll continue emailing through in hope someday someone replies and gives me my money back.

complaint with ACCC and Consumer Affairs. What they are doing is illegal and against consumer law - they have taken money for goods they knew would not arrive within their advised time frame (4-16 weeks). Promised me a refund in March and then emailed a few weeks later saying they are no longer processing refunds. I will be contacting A Current Affair also if they don’t refund me within the next week. I am so disgusted. Went to them after we had just purchased our first home, have been sitting on a 2 seater couch since we moved in last year and have had to cancel countless events at our house as we have no seating. It’s embarrassing. My in laws upgraded their couch and we’re kind enough to give us their old couch last week. this mattress asap straight after the day I purchased it. Otherwise I would never have bought from this store. There is no phone number to call anyone. No one answers your emails. Or if they do, it’s several days later. I have had to purchase beds from another reliable store that has an actual phone number to call due to this pathetic business not getting back to me with a prompt pick up and delivery time and date. I emailed this store today and notified them about this and I was told by the staff person that ”We are not providing refunds at this time” I am totally entitled to a full refund. The matter is with Fair Trading to deal with this shonky store. This store is refusing to refund me and also not allowing the pick up of this mattress that I have paid for.
