Completely unreliable – Dishonest and dodgy is the only words I need to describe this place. time span, only to receive a total of three emails that only repeatedly reassured us that it’s on its way and that the delaying of the deliveries is due to high demand. Each staff member that we’ve come in contact with tells us different stories that don’t add up and constantly beat around the bush. It’s honestly such a disappointing company that lacks trustworthiness, communication, and organisation.

Furniture received damaged but no aftercare – Please get a team to follow up on damaged/faulty items. You do not have a number to call and follow up but direct straight to the store nearby and they have no idea about damaged/faulty products and returns. No one to contact. All orders seems to be coming from a warehouse and only one email address to communicate(there is no one replying from your end). Bad customer service. Pathetic – Please don't buy anything from this company. We bought a sofa from them last year it was delivered on the 2nd of December and we noticed immediately that a section of the sofa arm had no foam underneath, rang them straight away and were instructed to take photos and email to complaints department which we did. arrived damaged, and the hassle to report it was just the beginning of our ordeal. We were asked to jump through hoops, filling out unnecessarily lengthy online forms and providing photos of the damage, as if we had nothing better to do with our time.

When we finally got a response from the claim department, they had the audacity to offer a measly $250 refund for the damaged items and told us we could keep the junk. Excuse me, but isn't that what the insurance was supposed to cover? It's like they're mocking us for bothering to buy it in the first place.

After endless back-and-forth emails, they grudgingly offered to replace the damaged pieces, but with an ETA of 8-10 weeks. Surprise, surprise - that turned into a never-ending cycle of delays, with the furniture finally arriving a whopping 11 weeks later. And to top it off, the delivery guys initially refused to assemble anything or clean up after themselves until I reminded them that we paid for that service.

But the cherry on top? When they finally started assembling the lounge, we discovered they'd brought it in two different colors. Are you kidding me? And now, three weeks later, we're still stuck with half a lounge and no end in sight.

Oh, and let's not forget the damage they caused to our house floor during delivery. When I brought it up, they had the nerve to ask if I'd signed some compliance form or mentioned it to the delivery guys. How on earth are we supposed to notice damage when our floor is covered in cardboard and packaging fluff? It's only after I cleaned up the mess that I realized the extent of the damage.

So, if you're thinking about buying furniture from Johnny's, do yourself a favor and run in the opposite direction. They'll offer you a pathetic refund( little % of which you paid) and expect you to keep their defective products, all while dragging you through a never-ending nightmare of delays and excuses. Save yourself the mental stress and shop elsewhere.

but he’s product knowledge made all the difference! I hate going in furniture stores and the sales guys know nothing about the various products they sell and lie about delivery times! Johnny’s furniture has always been honest about delivery times and expected delays ect! This is the third major purchase from the NARRE Warren store. We could not be happier with the products and the services received! We have bought the Fraser dining table and bench chairs, the Frasier coffee table and side table and now recently we just bought the bedroom suite and a mattress! I Would definitely recommend this store for their 5 star service and 5 star products.

Buying a mattress – Staff were very helpful and friendly. I purchased a bed and it was all done very efficiently. Still early days but the mattress seems comfortable. It was easy to assemble however I didn't know I needed to wait a couple of days for the mattress to settle after being vacuum sealed

Don't buy here. Recliners made noise from delivery, reported to support, months later, still no resolution – I strongly advise against purchasing from this company. However, despite following their instructions and repeatedly reaching out for help, it's now May, and the problem remains unresolved. We've not received any meaningful support, nor has anyone from the company taken responsibility or offered a clear path toward a solution. Their aftercare service has been extremely disappointing, leaving us frustrated and with faulty recliners.

Save yourself the hassle and shop elsewhere.

pressured to pay the delivery fee even though the representative could not complete assembly due to missing secure bolts and missing power cord! He advised my wife that warehouse staff would provide missing parts. After phone calls and emails, I was given the complete run around. Then staff directed me to the claims people who were just as ineffective in providing resolutions. I am sure this matter will never be resolved to my satisfaction. Warning do not deal with this company.

April. Guy on call said quote " I bloody do not know what end of April means, give me exact date. I said it is one way, but I gave 29th April. I do not want storage charges so hopefully they won't charge me for their 3-month delayed delivery. Guy from Narren Warren Store was literally abusing me. customer service reps, or given any explanations for said delays. The only way I was informed of the delay and new date, was if I took it upon myself to check the ETA tracker on their website.

When initially emailing them regarding the delay, all I got was "sorry we don't know how this happened". Serval more delays and ongoing complaints, their solution was I could cancel my order but they would withhold 20% and refund 80%.

Threatened them that I will be taking this to consumer affairs, they refunded me promptly the next day.

Even though they called it "wear and tear," they offered store credit. If it's just wear and tear, why give credit? I feel stuck.

This has been really frustrating. It's hard to trust a company that doesn't listen and ignores my rights. I won't suggest Johnny's Furniture to anyone.

all day, on a Sunday, looking forward to getting home, and then someone walks in the door at the last moment; it can be quite frustrating.
