Hello - our 8 year old Jura Ena Micro 1 suddenly stopped delivering coffee. We can hear the beans grinding, but no liquid is coming through. I just completed a regular cleaning, and have maintained it regularly. We're debating bringing it in for service or buying a new one, but we can't find any new Ena Micro 1s for sale. Are they discontinued? What is the current machine nearest to it?

I have the exact same problem and subsequent questions. Looking forward to a response here. Thanks!

Hi Maria, thank you for your message. Given that our ENA Micro 1 was released over 8 years ago, we do not carry it in stock anymore. Please feel free to come in for a service of your machine, but if you're after a similar machine that more recently came out, our ENA 8 will be an excellent fit for you. Kind regards, Anna from JURA Australia

Hi! I have used MICRO 1 for 5 years. When I select a large cup, water is too much about 50% more than before. It also looks like not normal condition with other smaller cups. Is there anything that I can do to solve this problem?

To all those wanting to know how to reset the cup volumes on the Jura ena Micro, here’s the solution: 1. Push and hold the 1 bean and 3 bean buttons. The top row of lights will illuminate. 2. Remove the water tank. The medium and large cup buttons will now illuminate, along with the water tank ikon. 3. Press the large cup button. The machine will turn of and now the settings are reset.

After brew group cleaning, put that back to machine, and pushed power button. Then, brew group cylinder up and down couple of times, also the 3 cups lights are flashing. After sometime, all the lights flashing, and power turns off. I think brew group assembled correct and working when I manually controls that. Would you help?

When I turn on my Jura A1, the two coffee bean lights flash and nothing else happens. This began earlier today, after my wife heard the machine starting its automatic shutdown process, and she removed the water reservoir while that was in process. (She wanted to check to see how much water was in the reservoir.)

Can you help, please? Thanks!

I think it means the system needs refilling / bleeding. hold press both bean buttons until it starts up again.

Sorry - just press either button The coffee strength symbols flash alternately. For page 22 of the manual Fill the water tank (see Chapter 1 ‘Preparing and using for the first time – Filling the water tank’). Touch either coffee strength symbol. The system fills up with water.

Hi! I’ve got an ENA micro 1 and the coffee was really starting to have a bad taste. I’ve wanted to clean the inside of the machine. After having removed the left panel, I’ve discovered how dirty and disgusting it was I inside. I’ve always cleaned the machine following the user manual’s instructions and the official jura products but it is really far from being sufficient… Anyway, I have opened the machine to clean the brew unit which was dirty (accumulated coffee). The machine was working fine before that. I’ve unscrewed the screws, washed the brew unit under clear water and have screwed it back, plugged the machine and have started it… and it won’t le me make a coffee. It seems the brew unit is blocked when going up. Not sure. Here is the video of the problem: external link  Would you know how to fix it? It would be super. Many thanks!

I have a Jura Elena Micro 1. When I turn the machine on, I hear the grinder activate for a period of one second then it stops and all of the bean and coffee lights flash continually. Unable to do anything further. Have tried turn off and unplugging the machine. Can you please help?

Hello. I have exactly the same problem and the same lights are flashing. All other sensors appear to be working normally. eg: water sensor, bottom tray, etc

Alexia Z.

I figured out what was the problem. The coffee bean lid little plastic bit that obviously locates the lid and activates the sensor had broken off.

I purchased a new one for $17.95 !!

Yay, easy fix

I have a micro 1 and there appears to be some sort of flap where the grinds come out that is stuck in a down position. It makes it so I cannot put the drip tray etc back and the machine can’t make coffee. Any ideas to help?

JURA Australia
JURA Australia   DM

Hi Sam, Thank you for getting in touch. The flap that you mentioned is attached to the Brewing unit. The brewing unit moves up and down during the coffee preparation cycle, so it may have been interrupted during its movements.

To reset the brewing units position, you will need to turn the machine on and slide the base of the tray back in WITHOUT the used grounds container/coffee bucket.

This should prompt the machine to reset its position internally, and after that you should be able to slide all parts of the tray in/out as normal.

If you are still having issues, please forward your details to support-au@jura.com and we would be happy to assist.

Kind regards, Jura Support Team

Dear RER thank you for your question could you just if there is any build of coffee thats splashed up while making coffee if you could kindly check if its clear. Kind Regards JURA Support team

Hi; The spout delivers coffee properly, with no leakage. The spout feels as though it is loose in the track where it slides up and down to accommodate different cup heights. I can move the spout to the top of the track but it will not stay in place - it wants to slide lower. I hope this describes the problem better. Cheers;

I recently received a second-hand Jura Micro ENA 1. It is missing the water tank float sensor. I found the part on-line for $44. It seems to have some sort of cord attached to it in the pictures. My question is, if I buy the part, how difficult will it be to install? Will I have to open up the machine? Should I simply buy a new water tank for $109? If so, will the float be included with the new tank?

The grinder button is stuck, cannot rotate either way, can that be fixed and how Maurice

JURA Australia
JURA Australia   DM

Dear Maurice, Thank you for your question, please remove all the beans and with a vacuum please vacuum the grinder out. Try to make a coffee but try moving the grinder settings finer to courser this is located on the opposite side the the pre-ground. Otherwise the machine will need to come into the service centre. Kind Regards JURA

We have enjoyed our Jura for years. Recently it started pouring the brewed coffee in the grounds container, and not out of the spout. It does this about once out of every 3 times, with the other two making a normal shot. I hope there is a solution.

I have the sides of the machine off and I can see the flap. The back of the flap is as clean as the front and freely moves forward and backward during the cycle. I cannot see where the water comes from to fill up the drip tray or as to the reason for this to happen, Regards.

The Drip tray there is a little water should through to keep the brew unit moving freely, the drip tray fills from the coffee spouts.
