Karcher SV 7 Questions & Answers

I have the Karcher SV 7 and suddenly the vacuum function stopped working. Now when I turn the machine in all of the green vacuum indicator lights start flashing. Plenty of water and float appears alright with nothing blocking it. Any ideas?

Hi just got a brand new SV 7 as a house warming gift and when I power it on, the lights turn on and it appears to heat up when I put it on steam mode but the actual hose attachment isn’t working at all. It’s like there is no power going to the hose itself, I can’t change the mode or get it to do anything. I’ve wanted a Karcher cleaner for years and this is really disappointing especially given it is brand new out the box. Not sure if I’m doing anything wrong as it seems fairly straight forward and I’ve read the manual a million times. Can anyone please help?

I have bought an SV7 6 weeks ago and it was working fine until today. The vacuum has stoped working. All vacuum performance indicator lights keep flushing. The steamer is functional. What should I do?

I have had this SV7 for few years. So far worked ok. Only revently problem started. Steamer won’t stop, and it seems the steam leak from the connection between hose and main body causes this problem. Without steam tje vacuum works. When stesm starts, vacuum won’t work anymore. What should I do?

SV7: As the motor temperature increases, when hot to the touch, it starts to "hunt", the speed increases to a scream and then stops. Waiting for the motor to cool down just a little and the same issue arises within a minute. I used the machine on and off for about two hours. I replaced the dirty water three times. Is this sort of problem just my machine? I reported this problem to the Parramatta Kaercher sales rep who suggested we take it to the factory. I bought the machine on 24 April 2018
