After seeing some negative reviews, I was really nervous about making an online purchase, so I mailed the store and they responded promptly. I placed the order and a week later I've received my purchase, in good condition.
Ordered about 14 items both on sale and full price. After 10 days received email to advise that none of the 10 sale items were available only the 4 full price. Sent wrong item, no email replies and gave false hope – I have ordered a toy for my daughters birthday only to find out they sent the wrong item. Don’t shop here – My Mum ordered my child’s Christmas present on the 27th November 2024. She received a call after Christmas, a month after ordering, saying it would be dispatched in about 2 weeks. She requested a refund on the 17 Jan and 2025 as it had not yet been dispatched and has now just received confirmation of a refund on the 24 Jan 2025.

I am a long time customer in store at Brighton and Chadstone but this was my first time using the online service or rather the online no service. Disgraceful experience and I will not be giving one more cent to this company. Hopefully they are concerned about their overall 90% negative rating from customers. Left my whole family disappointed on Christmas – I ordered a heap from Kidstuff on Black Friday and I still don’t have a large portion of the order. So very disappointed – Purchased online 1st week of December, Free Play Kids Strike Zone Soccer Net, and Santa sent this to a different address in a different state. OMG! The website said my order was in stock or I wouldn’t have ordered it. It obviously wasn’t. And I wouldn’t even mind if they communicated when it wasn’t in stock and gave me the option to cancel. Now I’m left with buying everything twice which I really can’t afford and then return everything from the delivery when it arrives. All while missing the sale so spending more than I would have. I also have to work until Christmas Eve so not sure how I’m even going to do that. The beauty of ordering early is putting some real thought into gifts and giving what the kids will love. Now I’m left with grabbing any crap off the shelves - not really the spirit of Christmas. Anyway, I can’t tell you how disappointed & stressed I am. If you are lucky enough to have your phone call answered, you will be directly lied to buy staff who will blatantly and falsely claim things like "we guarantee you will get your order before Christmas" or "we guarantee you will have a tracking number within 48 hours".
Make no mistakes, this is not a case of a business being unable to meet the demands of their customers, this is an intentional ploy to generate revenue through misleading tactics and false sales, knowing that a percentage of customers will be unable to dispute or follow up on their orders through busy times.
The real victims here are the customers who have families they are trying to purchase for, but perhaps don't have the specific skillset, time, or determination to actively seek a resolution or response - as the abhorrent Kidstuff team will simply not do anything proactively.
The percentage of customers who order but take perhaps a month or more to finally resolve their issues will in the meantime have their money taken by Kidstuff, which in turn is revenue used to accrue interest with the banks, pay their own bills, or simply profit off their false business model.
The call centre staff are all travelling or student visa workers, who are probably just trying to earn a living themselves, but it is their direct lying and unwillingness to honestly assist that makes them equally as pathetic as the administration of this organisation.

Every single person involved in this organisation should be ashamed of themselves as they have no issues lying to customers to make their own day easier. It's handballing the responsibility to someone else and endeavouring to have no accountability for the impact Kidstuff is having on everyday customers.
Christmas is a time of giving, loving, and being kind - yet these employees are being anything but. They are deceptive, they are disingenuous, and they will not help you.
Your best possible result is to be firm and seek an immediate refund.

Nothing to show for my $150 – Ordered 17 November, tracking provided 27 November and no further update to tracking since then and it's now 16 December. Just reading and I see that a lot of people have had the same experience. UPDATE - I did get a refund once I finally got through on the phone.

to be told that there was a system glitch and orders were marked as sent when they hadn’t been etc. but there was no word of this to the customers, even a generic email to all customers would have sufficed. Giving them benefit of the doubt, I agreed to a refund and to reorder my products with the assurance that the order would be marked as a priority and shipped out ASAP. That was a week ago and again there has been no updates. I have reached out to again have no replies. I have escalated this to PayPal. This is a pitiful excuse for a company as I can guarantee A LOT of parents have made purchases for Christmas presents that they most likely will not get and also do not have time (or finances) to purchase elsewhere in time for Christmas.
