first day. They just got bigger. You can't turn the cushion over or swap the cushions to distribute the wear as they are attached to the base. Visitors sat on my old single lounge chairs. One friend had trouble getting off the lounge when she sat on it. I ended up sitting on the floor as it was more comfortable than sitting on my lounge. Dealing with a different person every time I contacted King Living and their not knowing the history was extremely frustrating. The lounges are made in Thailand and it takes 3 months to do anything. The quality is a disgrace and the attitude of customer service and therefore King Living is one of contempt towards their customers. I gave a fantastic review for the presales but that was the only thing good about the purchase - oh and when the money came back into my account.

Excellent customer service-Gold Coast – I bought a jasper modular lounge and chose the walnut color for the timber accessories by error. I was supposed to have ordered the oak color. Considering this came to approximately $2000, I thought I’d be stuck with it, but Edward replaced it for me at no charge to myself and even delivered it at no cost. We had been to countless stores before King and had a fairly good idea of what we were looking for, unfortunately we were yet to find it. Shopping with children for furniture is never easy, but we didn't want to waste our money on a cheap, poorly made product. This would be our third lounge suite and we were buying to last. It was a big step for us, we have a pet cat and three boys, so buying furniture in this price bracket did make us nervous. It had to be built to last and stand the test of a large family.
After much consideration we decided on the Zaza 2.5 with the flexible arms (my husband loved this feature) and to match it a felix studio bed. With a large family you can never have too many places to sleep. We selected the Manhattan Navy fabric from the king living range. Desiree was so helpful with exploring all our fabric options and keeping within our budget. They have such a fantastic range it was wonderful to have her professional guidance to ensure we would be happy with the end result.
Next came the wait for our furniture and the day it arrived we were all so excited. The delivery was like clockwork. Everything was booked in and they arrived right on time, they were extremely kind and thoughtful when assembling the furniture and ensured they were working properly, showing me the controls for the Felix. They positioned them exactly where I wanted and cleaned up after themselves. They worked in a timely manner. It was the easiest delivery I think we have had to our house (which is saying something considering our steep drive and two story home).
We've had our lounges for a number of months now and we couldn't be more satisfied with our purchase. The quality is amazing with a solid frame and beautiful plush fabric, they are so easy to maintain and keep looking as good as new. Extremely comfortable and have come in very handy when we've needed an extra place for children to rest while sick, keeping them close at hand.
We will not look elsewhere in future. You can not argue with the quality of products on offer at King Living.

The problem was a manufacturing issue where the foam behind the buttons were reacting with the button sensitivity.. had to remove cover and place rubber behind. Furniture OK, customer service poor – Back in January we visited the GC showroom. We put a deposit down on outdoor Quay furniture set and we were told the order would be placed, together with WeatherGuard covers, once we emailed our colour preferences. I called a week after emailing through our preferences to be told that nothing had been actioned and that wait times had extended by… Read more
two weeks as well. The outdoor set arrived this week without the WeatherGuard covers. John at the store advised that it will likely be until Oct/Nov (10 months after ordering) before they're ready as they have no stock. I advised that this was down to staffing error having not ordered them at the same time. Our original salesperson Katie called back, refused to apologise for her error and stated that we'd be put on a waitlist for potential earlier delivery. When you pay hundreds of dollars for delivery and thousands for an outdoor set that will now have to be outside without covers for six months it's more than a little frustrating the staff couldn't even get the basics right. Or then even apologise when they get it wrong. Blaming me or supply chains, when it's human error on their part.
Update: It's December 16, no covers have arrived. Spoke to the customer service line, they advised the covers were sent in-store to the GC branch back on 10 October. When I spoke with them in May, I was promised they would be sent direct. No one has informed us they're even there. One of our chairs has been stained from flying ash from cane fields, as we didn't have anything to protect it. Poor after-sales care and rude, promise-breaking staff mean we will not be using this company again.
