Appalling customer service – Upon ordering the Edge wall unit I was advised delivery would be 2-3 weeks. date was organised for delivery 2 weeks later. Delivery scheduled for 9-11am. Waited till 2pm and rang customer service who told me they couldn’t tell me anything for 24-48 hours. I asked for the warehouse number to call myself but was advised that customer service don’t have there number. So as you probably have realised I am a very unhappy customer. Don’t believe any information you are given. I will NEVER buy from King Living again! By the way my friend purchased a dining table and King delivered the wrong colour. I also purchased a picture that arrived smaller than the description. It took 3 weeks to get a refund!

My Seymore chair I purchased for over $2000 zip broke and it really creaks and groans. I followed the warranty process, sent photos and video with sound and King Living warranty said it only had a two year warranty. Next stage after the above review warranty people came and said it wasnt the zip even though broken it was the material deteriation due to being in my lounge room next to a swimming pool. Apparently the chlorine or sea air affects this material and it falls apart. Then the bottom of the chair they said was moving and shouldn't. So King Living came back to me with an offer if I pay $800 they would replace the chair. They had the prorata calculation all wrong and I counter offered with correct offer which was around $300. Crickets for a while then they ask if my claim has been satisfied with a "no reply" email. I replied through the warranty feedback and heard nothing. Next step ombudsman, stay tuned.

selections for a home we are building in the South West.

No one rushed me. Kathleen kindly downloaded our plans and placed the furniture we already had, along with the new selections onto the plan so I could see how they would fit into the spaces. This is a brilliant service and certainly assists you with your selections particularly when you are a little unsure of the space available or how certain designs will look in a room.

We have bought from King on numerous occasions in the past and am now looking forward to receiving my new pieces which will compliment our previous selections. We have always been extremely pleased with the quality of the furniture and the standard of service we have received from the showroom to delivery and installation. With a wide range of products now available it makes it easy to return.

issues. I was at the end of my tethers, because I could not get an answer from anyone. Customer Service could not help me. Plus, I realised they do not have the authority to take it further. The actual store (Nedlands) could not help either. I did a lot of research online and found Customer Care. Once I was in touch with Customer Care, Deb took care of everything. She was in contact with me for the whole 2 months, with updates. So, because of your hard work, Deb, I ended up with my beautiful lounge as we speak. King Living take note. The delivery chaps were fantastic. They are very polite and efficient. For both of my deliveries.

help and call center (likely overseas) does not call back and when called again and again required level five security information before addressing query- that for a furniture shop !?

King was given chance to reply via this site - response now within a day, but again we were totally blown off. No explanation as to why wood in so-called metal legs, saying it was normal wear and tear (after 4 years for a 4000 dollar table !!??) and suggesting that we did not maintain it properly. So they added insult to injury !

Strongly suggest to not buy from this company and especially check carefully where the furniture is made/what it is made from.

rideandthrew stuff aroundour apartment. We needed a fewextra pieces and decided todo store pickup/ collect ourselves so as to not have the awful delivery people in ourhouse. Now we just have to deal with the overseas call centre trying to make an appointment three days out on a week day to collect our table. We have purchased a lot of products from King Living in the past 6 months, fitting out our apartment and home and have relied heavily on the sales representative Jess to sort things. She has made the experience very relaxing and enjoyable considering the amount of back and forth due to our indecisions. When I was at King Living Nedlands, I was greeted by Jess and she was very patient, professional and helped with my selection for the furniture (2 bedside tables). Selecting the color to co ordinate my existing King Living bedroom is kind of not easy as there were all colors that I like to choose from. Stephen Meszaros is exceptional at recommending products and colours that would work well in a home. Even down to ensuring the right size rugs and furniture are chosen. delivered partly and it took may calls with King Living head office to sort out. The outcome is that we have had to wait a further twelve weeks for the furniture to be delivered. Crossing our fingers they have it right this time!

Poor quality, zero customer service – Summary: We purchased an Aspen dining table and eight dining chairs (2 x Quay and 6 x Aspen) in Sep 2021. The items were delivered in Feb 2022 with defects. King Living provide unsatisfactory replacement and repair. Communication with King Living was impossible and confusing. The showroom wanted nothing to do with us and referred us to call… Read more

customer care or to dispatch team for delivery matters. Both customer care and the showroom never responded to emails and never follow-up after you called them. There was no way to talk to a supervisor at the call center to escalate the matter. Importantly, there is no complaint process.

Timeline: Sep 2021 - Ordered placed

Feb 2022: - Order delivered -Aspen dining table was dropped in the garage by the delivery staff causing a deep cut to the table corner. -All of the Quay dining chairs have loose screws and were wobbly -Two out of the six Aspen dining chairs have defects including, velcro under the seat not tucked in, loose leather and chipped veneer on the legs

Aug 2022: Chair repair and replacement - Quay dining chairs frame replaced but there are now holes on the underside of the chair. - The velcro was adjusted on one of the Aspen chairs but the leather is now flabby. - They were unable to adjust the leather on the other Aspen chair.

Oct 2022: Aspen Dining table replacement - The replacement table has uneven surfaces (crack lines and screw marks) - Replacement table has a lighter shade to the previous table and is noticeable when compared to the dining chairs (Both table and chair have the same color - American Walnut)

Email communications with no response (Aug to current): 02/08/2022 - Email about the replacement chairs 07/10/2022 - Email about the replacement dining table 15/10/2022 - Follow up 08/112022 - Follow up

Delivery is really worth it. Everything assembled, no mess. Professional friendly people there too. I have every confidence I will return my custom to King Living again and again.... so should you.

took repeated calls to the store only to be advised that my email would be forwarded to ‘customer service’ in Sydney. This was done 9 days ago.

I have again followed up with the store direct, they’ve advised there is nothing they can do, I just have to wait for someone in Sydney to call me back.

I really expected much better from King Living, thoroughly disappointed!

both high off the ground so you could see the mechanisms of the sofa underneath. Tennis balls could easily go under. The delivery people and I both took photo's and sent to King living. I decided to accept the product ( or have nothing to sit on having given my old sofas away ) and I was told it would be rectified. Very clunky, noisy movements when reclining/ sitting up. One of the recliners will not go back down when you are sat on it. You have to get off it and then press the button for out to go down King sent out service staff. Another recliner will not work at all. Media console does not fit correctly with between 1 to 2 cm gap. Sofa's do not sit straight. Gap at the back of 1 section which I can put my finger through.

Be aware that this is not Australian manufactured furniture but made in China. We should have asked more questions rather than accepting Australian designed meant Australian manufacturing.

Other items we bought such as side/coffee tables are great. Smart table that attaches to sofa is great but not straight as sofa not straight. Technicians moved leg height but still uneven.

Technicians are not King living employees but here in Perth work for a different company who have a contract to service KL products. They wrote a report stating all modules are defective with warped mechanisms and uneven finishes to material. We chose a cloth finish rather than leather ( due to dog scratches on previous leather furniture) but feel that this product is probably not suitable for material. Material does not sit flat but gathers/baggy in folds. Threads at the bottom . Saggy smart pocket side on one but others OK. Do not have this style made in material. Material itself is lovely colour/texture

This is not the item we saw/tested in the Osbourne park store nor does it look like the web page photo.

I am now waiting for King Living to contact me. I have called them again but it is difficult to get someone to talk to. It's always someone else you need to talk to and they are not available and will call you back.

So disappointed especially as wanted for Christmas when family visiting and ordered well in advance to accommodate this need.
