rear legs of the chairs are angled and loutward and have quite sharp edges. Due to this design, we frequently end up bumping our legs against them, which has been uncomfortable and a little concerning.
I contacted the team on to request an exchange of the chairs. However, I was informed that an exchange would only be possible if the chairs were returned in their original boxes. Unfortunately, the chairs were installed by the delivery team on the day of delivery, and the boxes were taken away by them at that time.We have wrapped the legs of the chairs to use them now. It would be nice if the exchange options were clearly communicated at the time of purchase and making exchange prosses easy.
Worst customer service and products attach is photos of products that refuse to return all 6 dining chair have ripped from bad stitching in the same area I had to deal with mark who is absolutely horrible and my sofas have discoloured so not purchase from them !!!!!!

but no bed. The delivery people were incredibly unhelpful & told me to just contact Koala Living. They make you email customer service, which I did. Many emails back & forth, but they were intractible & told me I just had to book in for the next delivery on 22 January. I have today (12 Jan) received an email saying that due to a recent stock inventory update, they don't have the bed in stock & I'll now have to re-book another delivery when it is back in stock (late Feb). They only deliver to my area once a month so I probably won't get the bed until late March. I am very upset as it is an expensive piece of furniture, but I've lost faith that it will actually be delivered one day. Meanwhile they have your money & your only options are either a credit note or if you want a refund, they take 30%. Be very careful dealing with this company. When it goes well, its good, but if I goes bad, then you have very little options. I am currently liaising with Dept of Fair Trading about my rights.

for money, but that's where the praise ends. The delivery team, on the other hand, is a nightmare. Products are dropped from the truck like they're disposable, showing a shocking lack of care for customers' hard-earned purchases.
We've had multiple failed deliveries, with the team turning up late or not at all. One time, they arrived before the scheduled time, but we've had instances where they've taken the delivery back without notice. The communication is abysmal, and the drivers' attitude is downright rude.
To anyone considering purchasing from this shop, beware: your beautiful new furniture might arrive damaged, and you'll be left to deal with the hassle. Until they sort out their delivery process, I'd advise you to look elsewhere.
Follow-up · Koala Furniture contacted us via email requesting the reason for a one-star review. We explained everything about the transport and they checked with the driver who admitted fault. They apologised and refunded the freight charge.

On 2 April I went all the way to Marsden park to buy Koala Living couch called Maddie, the total came to about 4k and they took two weeks to arrive. The furniture removalists happen to be a bunch of teenage boys and they said they couldnt swing the box which had the couch through the front door, they were hitting the corridor. open the box and bring it in that way and they said if they opened the box and it didnt fit then I would be left with the couch sitting in the corridor and it would be my problem. So I suggested since we were in the ground floor swing it through the balcony and they refused citing if they damageed my balcony their insurance may not pay and so left with a dillema we decided its best they return to Koala Living and I ask for a refund. To my surprise they said I had to pay for the cost of the removalist bringing it back to them and because they cited I changed my mind I will lose 30 percent of my payment. To make me pay for the removalist was bad enough and to make me lose $1300 not because I changed my mind but other circumstances that was not foreseen is to me unfair so I rang them and you only ever get to talk to someone in the Philippines and a lady called [Name Removed] with no surname and no position revealed, they promised someone will call me but that call never came and [Name Removed] tried to put the onus back on me - why I didnt measure the doorway hello this is the first time I bought furniture myself how am I supposed to know I have to measure the door way and it wasnt the doorway but the size of the corridor, and said the removalist was not to blame. The whole ordeal was traumatic had it been another company, they would have refunded me by now and they said they cant change their policy hello I am a single mum and i just lost my job and $1300 may not be much to a chainstore who makes millions but I have a child to feed and couldve used the money to pay my mortgage and strata fees, its not $130 we are talking here, and every company should have compassion and hear their clients out - i didnt change my mind, it was out of my control. I just felt I have been ripped off and cant help thinking what if I were not mentally sound like had dementia or had downsyndrome then I would have stupidly accepted their logic. Koala Living lost nothing, they got back their couch unopened - when I gave my money it was so easy and when a customer ask it back they made it feel it was my fault, the operator said they will ring me but no one did and their accounts department tried to brush it off by deducting the 30 percent and said nothing about the emeil - must be 4 emails and 7 calls to try to speak to a higher authority. This is not the act of an ethical company. No matter what law you have you need to judge each persons circumstance on its own. I feel very sad I saved up for months to buy a new couch to replace the 20 year old couch that my parents left me which was faded and tattered finallty thought I found my dream couch and this happens. I need to tell my story so that other single mums dont get sucked in by a unethical companuy and end up losing money, when my intention was pure. Had it been another reputable furniture store they would have refunded it all. But no, I am psychologically traumatised to find that at 60 not only i cant have my dream couch but lost $1300 on the way. OUCH! [Name Removed] tried to put the blame on me by saying that I should have taken photos and that I should have measured the door way, hello their salesperson said nothing of that to me and was eager to sell it to me and Im just a layman, Ihave never bought furniture for myself before this is my first experience and it was disappointing and saddening to feel like i have been conned. Im the one who is holding the real loss whilst Koala Living has got back their goods and no real loss. Therefore if I could give this company a zero I would.

Love the products they are good. Gold and black make a very good combination. Service is generally good. However, I did try to return a chandelier but im not able to return it . ITS STILL IN THE BOX. Given the amount of products I have purchases I would have appreciated it if I at least got a credit. I would like some action to be taken by customer service. Thank you .
