Finally had time to write this review after an extremely disappointing experience with their customer service and delivery process. was no apology, no accountability, and no mention of compensation for their mistake. One month later after multiple follow-ups from us they finally arranged a pickup. However the delivery team arrived only to collect the incorrect item and were not informed that they were also meant to deliver the replacement. We had to contact the company again to fix yet another mistake and once again received no apology, only dismissive and indifferent responses, as though we were simply expected to accept the inconvenience. During this entire month their st^pid wrong sofa piece, which was huge and extremely chunky, was left sitting inside our brand new home, taking up space, getting in the way of moving in and furnishing, and causing constant inconvenience. It felt like they were happily using our new build as their free warehouse storage while we dealt with the mess, disruption, and stress. After weeks of frustration they finally delivered the correct piece. Their only so-called compensation was free assembly, which in reality was just screwing the metal legs onto the sofa. Hardly meaningful compensation for over a month of delay, inconvenience, disruption, and loss of enjoyment. This entire situation completely ruined the excitement of receiving our new sofa for our new home build, caused unnecessary chaos during Christmas preparations, and left us extremely disappointed. For a company that positions itself as a premium Australian brand, the level of customer service is unacceptable. If you want to justify your price point, fix your logistics, take responsibility for your mistakes, and treat customers with basic respect.

We eventually bought from another company who did proper checks and delivered smoothly. Koala wasted our time, money, and caused months of stress.

We are now forced to escalate this to Fair Trading NSW, especially given Koala Living has previously been fined for misleading conduct by regulators.

The customer support and delivery service is pathetic. They charge for deluxe delivery and do not deliver anything on time and would not show flexibility to deliver items based on customers availability.
