My phone won't fully charge, maybe gets to about 20% after overnight charging, and that's it!

( And YES, I've tried numerous chargers)

I've been having problems with it from the start, will only ring twice before cutting out.

It's an Agora 6+

I'm disabled, and have to rely very heavily on my phone, and on the disability pension, so can't be affording to buy another one.

So what can Kogan do about this?

I've only had it for a year ( so warranty has ended)

You (Kogan) obviously have had many complaints about this phone, so why don't you do something about it?

Please help me out here, these phones are Duds!

You should be ashamed to put your name on them.

I've had my Kogan Agora 6+ for a just over a year now, when I first got it, it wouldn't hold a charge or charge properly at all, I sent it back to Kogan who replaced the battery, and even after I got it back it's had the same problem.

This morning, after having it charging all night it only went up to 19%, and after using it for maybe 20 minutes it's now off, and won't charge at all, what do I do? I can't afford to buy a new phone or really even to send it back to Kogan for repairs, and I'm pretty damn disappointed with Kogan in general now as the phone was pretty expensive in the first place, sending it to get "repaired" was also expensive, and I've had this problem with the phone ever since I first got it.

What can I do to fix this issue?

My Kogan Agora 6 plus will not reach full charge even after charging overnight. Last night, I left it charging overnight in the off mode and this morning it won't turn on. Phone is less than 12 months old. What should I do?

I have a Kogan Agora 6 4G LTE (16GB). It has already worn out 2 batteries and it looks like the 3rd is failing. Is this common? Can something be done to stop it causing batteries to fail? Anyone else had or having this problem?

It will be out of extended warranty soon and the batteries will cost a fortune at this rate?

My phone was returned to Kogan and I got a Samsung from them [ J5 ] . I couldn't be happier. I think it would be a good idea if you did the same to get something more reliable. They appear to be traiding under the name of Dick Smith maybe to hide their true identity due to all the poor reports they are getting. I stay clear of them now as there plenty of other

on line stores to check out. Remember you have rights as the guarantee is still valid. Let them know you hae been on Product Review as wll. All thre best' Regards Suzy.

Hi Callum, sorry to hear about the issue you're experiencing. First off we'd recommend plugging the phone into charge with a wall plug for at least 30 minutes, then try holding the power button down for at least 10 seconds. Please try multiple chargers and cables if you have them available.

If the issue persists, please get in touch with us and we'll assist you under warranty. You can call us on 1300 304 292 or submit an online inquiry here: external link

I have just completed a wireless update on my Kogan Agora 6. Where has my sound selection gone from swipe down function?Only aeroplane mode remains. Outdoor, silent, meeting etc not visible.

Kogan   DM

Hi Jarra, To reach the sounds selection in the new Android version, swipe down from the top of the screen and then tap the quick settings icon in the top right hand corner. As a handy shortcut, you can also swipe down with two fingers to go straight to the quick settings.

If you don't see the sound selection in your quick settings, tap the edit or pencil icon in the quick settings to add it to the list.

Hi there. My new Agora 6 plus turned off automatically while on charge (using the supplied charger of course!) and now it will not turn on at all. It is completely dead. What course of action can I take? Thank you

Kogan
Kogan   DM

Hi Johnny, Sorry to hear about the issue with your new Agora. If by any chance you have an alternate 5V charger and a micro USB cable, please try plugging this in for at least 30 minutes to see if the phone shows any signs of life. Please try holding the power button down for 10 seconds, or until it vibrates.

If you do not have any luck, please get in touch with our Support Team and we can assist you under warranty. You can call us on 1300 304 292 or submit an online inquiry here: external link

My phone was not working well from when I received it, A number of things were wrong. I tried to get them fixed through phone calls but no joy. After a short time they replaced it with a reconditioned phone [ even though the one I purchaced was new ] it was no better. Again I contacted Kogan but not happy with reply so was advised to

write to Product Review. With in no time they contacted me and offered me a new phone. I agreed to that but not a Agora as I knew of uther people that were not at all happy with there Agora phones. They do sell Sumsung phones which I have had before. I ended up a Samsung J5 and am very happy with it. I don't buy anything from Kogen now after that experience. I wish you the very best of luck getting what you want from Kogan.A

Until recently I have been able to connect my Agora 6 to my computer and change the directories of the photos. Now, when I connect to the computer, it does not recognise my memory card. It will only 'see' the internal memory. How do I overcome this problem?

Douglass

Sorry but I am unable to help you. My Windows 10 computer has never been able to do anything with my Kogan Agora 6 phone other than charge it. While it appears in the Windows Explorer list it just shows the battery percentage and nothing else.

If you find a way to do more I also would be interested in knowing.

Regards, Douglass Williams

Hi, sorry to hear about the issues. If this has not yet been resolved, please try the below steps: When the Agora is plugged in, you'll see a notification up top with an option to select USB transfer options. Please check that you have selected either "Transfer files (MTP)" or "Transfer photos (PTP)" from the USB transfer options.

You may also need to check the Device Manager on your computer to see if there any devices not installed correctly.

1. Open "Device Manager"

2. Right-click the Agora device and select "Update Driver Software."

3. Select "Browse my computer for driver software"

4. Select "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer"

5. Select "MTP USB Device" and then click "Next"

You should then be able to access your mobile devices properly.

If the issue persists, please get in contact with us at: external link

I just purchased an Agora 6 Plus. While setting up, the phone froze so I switched it off. Now it won't switch back on (it had over 50% battery when it was operating). Great start! The printed manual suggest reinstalling the battery, however I read on-line that the phone is sealed. So now what?

Kogan
Kogan   DM

Hi Greg, Thanks for your question and we're very sorry that you've not got off to a good start with your new phone. Could you please try leaving the phone on charge for at least 30 minutes and attempt to turn it on while still connected to the power?

Failing this, please get in touch with our Support Team who will be able to assist you appropriately.

We can be contacted on 1300 304 292 or at the following link:
