Cheap and functional but took 3 weeks to activate my account and then seemingly billed me for that whole month, cancelling out any savings I made from switching to them anyway. No customer portal to confirm details or email support to raise it with other than calling up a phone number during business hours. Show details

I moved in two weeks ago and Kogan were super easy to get set up. My connection is a hyper fibre coaxial FC. Then I connected my Google Nest wifi mesh router and set up the password and it all went to pot. The internet stopped working and I just couldn't get it online. customer service centres to troubleshoot internet.. I've only ever had horrible experiences. I ended up calling today, and spoke to Karan. He answered immediately after I keyed in the right area, and he had my internet up and running in less than 15 minutes. He was really polite and helpful, and even called me back while he checked some things, instead of leaving me waiting on hold. I'm so grateful I moved internet service providers! And I highly recommend Kogan. Not only are they $360 per year CHEAPER than my exact same previous service with another provider, their customer service is far superior. Thank you! Kat A

Happy about Kogan, speeds and pricing – Just got Kogan internet for the first time after being on Dodo for a bit. Wanted something cheaper. Got the 100 Mbps for 69 bucks per month for the first 6 months than 79 per month after that. Very happy so far. Quick change over, took less than 15 mins. Don't know if I need to cancel with Dodo or if that's automatic but I'll deal with that soon. Here are the speeds we're getting. I'm in Rowville, Melbourne. Pretty happy. Show details ·  1

It was fast but always getting network outage in my area. Gold saying 100mbps but the maximum you can get is like 87 mbps on 5ghz connection. I just called them now for a slow internet speed. It was fixed but after 5mins it got back to 5mbps. … Read more

Updates 22/10/2025 - COMPLETELY NO CONNECTION AT ALL. 05/11/2025 - NO CONNECTION AGAIN! 6/11/2025 - NO CONNECTION AGAIN!

Lot of system upgrade happened this past few weeks but the internet speed got worse. Max download now is 45mbps.

 Follow-up  · Currently on gold+ but still getting 110mbps. Tried to contact support . Just been told to restart modem and got good for few hours and now back to slow speed.

I am recently using Kogan internet gold package and had a trouble with connectivity. But I called the Kogan and they couldn’t help me first. But Second time, I got connected with Kogan support member, named Naeem and he helped me out with my internet issue on router. He is absolutely genius, kind and calm. This is the worst NBN service that I have ever used. The departments are all over the place, and provisioning takes days longer than it should. Nobody gives you the same response; every time you speak to tech support, they tell you something different. I received a bill the first month, then no more bills after that until I hassled them. billing department couldn't even email me the bill over the phone! They use Vodafone & it is also very hard to access your account (probably intentionally). You call the bill info line to pay and it answers as Vodafone, you put your number in, then disconnects unless you use your account number on the second option. If you call them up however, they use your mobile number to recognise the account. What a joke! I do not recommend using them unless you are a s#cker for punishment!

I have been with them for around sometime and whenever I had issues I used to fix myself by hard reset or by configuring. But this time KOGAN even can’t fix and they told me off to find my own technician and fix it myself. They can’t even find internal technician and they happily cancelled my contract when I told them to do it because I was not happy about it.

Called Kogan support expecting to cancel . piyush was really nice on the line and was able to provide 25 dollar voucher and $15 off for 3 months. Great customer service and ready to the point. I decided to try one more time before giving up, and that’s when I was connected with Naeem. The difference was night and day. Naeem was patient, professional, and took the time to understand the issue properly. He helped me set up my BYOD modem and stayed on the line to make sure everything was connected and working as it should.

After such a poor first experience, Naeem completely turned things around with his excellent service. Thank you, Naeem, for your patience and for making sure everything was sorted.
