showed no Internet connection. I guessed there might be some settings that needed to be done on the router, so I called Kogan NBN support. I was expecting a support from the team, but I didn't realize it would be such a nightmare. Called 1300010400 at 13:17pm on 14/05 and reported the issue, she said she'd call me back as the model of my router was really rare. Called 1300010400 again at 13:50pm with another person. He said I needed to change PPPoE settings on my router to make it work. I did, but still no connections. After a few tries, he said something wrong with my router and I needed to contact the manufacture. I said the router was working fine a day ago with another ISP, obiously there's nothing wrong with it, but he insisted it's a manufacture fault. (Based on his theory, I have a Hp laptop, I guess if I had Windows issue with my computer I needed to call Hp.) I was not happy and asked to talk to someone else or the manager, but he said he can not transfer the call. I was confused. So I called back again, I thought there must be someone else that I can talk to. But guess what, same guy answered the phone with the same attitude. I've tried few times after, and always the same person answered the phone. What?!
I've been with a few ISPs before, occassionally I needed some help from them, all the support people they've been really supportive. If they couldn't solve my issue, they would escalate to another team. Untill I talked to the Kogan support, I thought all people behind 1300 numbers were experiened, well trained and would professionally advise their customers. I felt on that day, only one guy was working in the call Kogan call center, or, the same person was manipulating the incoming calls?!
I switched to another ISP right away, and my Internet is up running again with the same router. I wish I would be the only one having this experience with Kogan. All the best to Kogan customers, hope you'd never need to call the support team.
I got my internet from Kogan at a really good price. At first it wasn’t connected properly, but I called customer support and Karn helped me over the phone to sort everything out. Flawless connection, only moving provider as I can't port forward 443 – been connected since November 2023. Connection has been flawless and fast. Contacted tech over phone regarding very slow speeds. They could not give a solution to get my speed up to 800 mbs at least. At the moment I am getting about 350 mbs max. And this is on a their 1000mbs plan.Equipment I use like router and ethernet cables is also top rated to handle high speeds. Would not recommend. ***

Unable to order online, unable to order via phone – Firstly, when trying to verify your identity using a NSW drivers license, their system won’t be able to verify your identity as, and I quote from their phone support, “your card number needs to have a letter in it” - my card number does not. am told my order was cancelled as they couldn’t verify my identity…. So they try do it manually only to be told “our system won’t let us sign you up to the Diamond plan… do you want to start with Gold or Silver?”
No Kogan, no I don’t. That’s why I selected Diamond….
I try for a second time online and now there’s no way for me to opt out of a Kogan modem. Kogan I have a full Ubiquiti setup that costs an order of magnitude more than your modem, it already works with NBN, why would I want your $69 plastic fantastic?
So, it seems impossible to sign up to Kogan Internet which doesn’t instil any confidence I wouldn’t be messed around with post install.

Very Old Fashioned – It's good, but the communication is very old-fashioned. Every time you need help, you need to call them. It's not like other providers are already modernized; even for activation, they just text you through SMS and that's it. You are good to go. And also, the payment method is very old-fashioned too. Great price and speed – Nurat was great on the phone, I've used Kogan Internet for a while now, they've been great - the price is low, support is surprisingly quick and I can't get 250mbps at this price anywhere else. Just bring your own router, as a network engineer I 100% recommend the Google Nest Wifi, with Kogan I'm getting 250mbps always. Show details

Pretty good, despite the budget price – Getting great speeds even at peak times. Using a Ubiquiti router with FTTP. Diamond plan. Regularly getting 700mbps down during peak. Non-peak 900+. FTTP service is decent, only thing is there is no online billing platform and you just get the bill via email. Service is ultimately provided by vodafone. Show details
