In comparison to my previous home construction with Summit Homes, I found that this build required significantly less oversight on my part, which reflects the exceptional standard of service and coordination provided by La Vida Homes team. His diligence, communication, and attention to detail have been exemplary, and I believe his efforts deserve formal recognition. Follow-up · The handover process went very smoothly, happened 2 weeks later than expected but the reason was justified due to the Christmas shut down. What really stood out was the clear communication. Prompt responses on queries, weekly/fortnightly updates on the portal about completed and upcoming tasks. Unexpected challenge - getting Dowell windows to fix some of the windows.

Follow-up · Handover was smooth and even a minor paint mark detail was taken into account. The handover eventually happened a week or so in advance. No unexpected cost but certainly a complementary porcelain splashback (because overhead cupboard length was 2cm short from marked plans to meet regulatikns).

Communication was good, and the online portal was a great tool for keeping track of everything. Most importantly, there were no unexpected costs or surprises, we paid exactly what was agreed.
From slab down, the build took around 10 months and moved quickly. We also had an independent inspector check the home throughout the build, who confirmed the home was to a very good standard, and we’re really happy with the finish.
We would reccommend La Vida to anyone looking to build they’ve done a great job and we’re very happy with our new home!
