I am back to Launtel. Everything seems go smoothly. Unpause the button and 5 mins activation. No charge. Even I met an offline issue and tech onlive chat still followed my inquiry, thanks Danny. With his helps, I was able to re-set up Router and now enjoy surfing online. Too flexible, No fixed plan, no cancellation fee. no fussy. you can enjoy all day long speed! not 7-11 pm.... Excellent support. Switched to Launtel after I had experienced a nearly two-week long outage with TPG. Connection speeds are excellent too - I'm getting about 110 down 38 up on a 100/40 plan.
Trouble with Getting Connected at First - Issue Revolved – Set up an account and tried to sign up for a free trial for a day. When I checked the order the status showed "rejected" (screenshot attached). I am on FTTP with the first port on the network termination device (NTD) being used by another ISP, so I assumed Launtel would set up the connection using one of the available ports. no communication at all regarding why the order got rejected. About an hour and half after I lodged the application I received an email from Launtel requesting to try another port on the NTD. From the customer portal, I could see that Launtel made multiple attempts to activate the connection.
Unfortunately nothing worked. A senior provisioning officer from Launtel sent another email requesting a photo of my NBN box so that the case could be referred to NBN. After sending the photos through, the Residential Team Leader sent me an email with another update. I will wait and see what happens.
It may not be Launtel's fault that they have trouble activating the spare ports. And I do appreciate Launtel's effort in referring my case to NBN. But beware if you have older or unusual NBN hardware. My NTD and the battery backup unit sit in a separate utility box outside the house, which used to have TransACT fibre when it was built. My current NTD, installed in 2016, looks very different from the ones that are placed indoors in many homes.
Update: After about a month the issue was sorted. Kudos to Launtel for being persistent and keeping me updated on the situation. Happy with the service so far.

off my plan for the days I'm not home, and switch it back when I return. They charge daily instead of monthly and I think this is a great idea.

The only ISP I will recommend in Tasmania. I got recommended Launtel around 2021 and it wasn't until 2024 when I setup my own connection. Launtel aim to provide connections to suit everybody's needs. the E-Mail chain had things sorted, the NBN Co Technician terminated the connection in the coming weeks. It's the little things like getting an E-Mail back after the fact asking how things went.
Additionally- I've never seen a consumer-focused ISP with such an intuitive web portal with built-in troubleshooting tools. You can view latency, packet loss, configure QoS, usage, etc. You can pick between dynamic CGNAT addresses, purchasing an IP lease, or for simply leasing a static IP for $0.15/day.
The pay as you go model reinforces the "no-lock-in contracts" sales tactic every other ISP uses, but Launtel actually delivers on that promise. Launtel won't try to upsell you on junk Wi-Fi routers like other ISPs, these other ISPs will 9 times out of 10 want the hardware back even if you paid for it.
99% of ISPs in Australia won't give you the choice, unless you're a business which is a pain for application port-triggering and server hosting.
I used Launtel 100/40 for FTTN for a year and had no complaints, I've since moved and use Starlink as a main connection and have my server on the Launtel connection for routing.
Once NBN Co finally completes the FTTP install (16 years of waiting) I will be using Launtel with Starlink as a fallback for the future.
And I will continue to recommend Launtel to everybody as the service and configurability is fantastic.

Throughout numerous days corresponding, Lauchie was responsive via email and even reached out for a phone call to help walk me through some setup problems. Lauchie was incredibly friendly, supportive and a genuine human having genuine human interactions. I felt heard, understood and respected throughout.
I'm very glad we chose to go with Launtel. Not only has our connection been flawless (even receiving nearly 10% faster speeds than we're paying for with no drop outs) but the customer service has been phenomenal. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending Launtel to anyone and everyone.

Sean was fantastic and was able to answer all my queries immediately, even was able to remotely connect to my laptop to diagnose my connection issues / problems that I was having and tried to troubleshoot through a number of methods to diagnose my problem. Initially tried to get 1000/40, however due to limitations with my ONT fibre box, I have been unable to reach those speeds, however Sean has been fantastic in contacting redtrain to organise an update. Speeds have been fantastic with zero drop outs so far and am able to stream what I've been after at 4K HDR with no lag or buffer that I was getting through iPrimus.
Can safely say that I have never received this high level of customer service from any company I have ever contacted. Will be sticking with Launtel without a doubt as I love the fact that I can change my speeds as I need them. Have also recommended them to my friends and family.

Their support is top-notch. I’ve tried plenty of other NBN plans—sometimes just to take advantage of a $1-a-month promo or short-term deal—but I always end up coming back to Launtel. If I want a 1000/400 connection for a single day, just because, I can have it. You can’t get that anywhere else.
If you haven’t used them before, or have a new address with new account details, you can even take advantage of a 7-day free trial. No need for a perfect credit score. Honestly, they should rename themselves Fair Go Australia NBN or something along those lines to match their service and support. They don’t even block the sites that many other NBN providers restrict to manage bandwidth usage—you probably know what I mean.
I should get another 7-day free trial for my effort Launtel. That said, you more then deserve it.

Australia based native english speakers, who answer the phone with no wait times. Staff is extremely friendly and knows their product. I love that the usage is calculated daily and you can pause it - for example if you are going on holiday. I love the fact that you are not locked in wiht a contract - not that I am looking to change providers for some time. I can highly recommend Launtel. They also have a referral programme. Relatively Unknown Provider But Highly Recommended – Swapped from a less than stellar experience with a big-name provider to Launtel's 100/20 plan in January 2024, and was so happy with the difference that I upgraded to the 100/40 plan. We regularly get around 98-102 Mb/sec and 30-32 Mb/sec during the day, so more than happy with the speed, and on the occasions I have needed to contact support they have been quick to respond and always helpful and knowledgeable. Fast and Flexible – Fast! More reliable, consistent and lower latency connection than several other competitors I've tried - all on the same FTTN Copper service. Great product offering of no contract internet – Experience has been great. Their pre-sale support could be better. Unnecessarily got me to buy NBN box when they arrange for free after you sign in. which is a massive difference with competitors. The connection speed is great, I'm on the 100/40 plan and get exactly that in terms of performance.
All in all, you get what you pay for and Launtel won't be losing me as a customer service and reliability are both so outstanding
Great internet and best customer service – Launtel home internet speed and service is really good. Even a 100Mbps plan offers more speed than 250Mbps paper speed from other companies. bad experience with another big telco who took my money in seconds but did not give me internet for weeks - no customer service, no replies to my emails, now they are not even responding to my cancel request - I had to contact bank to get my money back and block my card. I switched to Launtel after seeing good reviews here. Launtel customer service agent was not in rush - he calmly looked into my issue and arranged technician visit just two days later. My internet is all fixed up and running. Definitely will recommend Launtel to anyone looking for good internet and great customer service.

technician found the coax connector in the pit outside our house was corroded. He replaced that connector and the one in the box on the side of our house as well. Since then we haven't had a single dropout.

launtel responds in a reasonable time frame, they're costumer service is local, and the people who help you know what they're doing in most cases, so much better than most other ISPs I've used, this is including aussie broadband, who I would also say are excellent.
