I was dealing with Jessica on the admin side, while an incompetent finance team seemed to be making decisions in the background without properly assessing the file. Zero accountability, zero transparency. I’d love to see their loan book, probably running on fumes.

Stay clear.

Hopeless people. Even after submitting all evidence they did not approve the home loan. Went to my bank next day and got the loan approved the same day. What a waste of time. Idiots.

More recently we have signed up for our fourth loan through loans.com.au and had no issues with the online application portal. We were also happy with their service, interest rates and lack of fees once again.

We have called Loans numerous times to discuss different properties we were looking at, how much money we could loan, interest rates, offset ACs, etc. and every time we get someone knowledgeable and friendly. They have so much patience for the multitude of questions, are easy to get through to on the phone and I consistently get to speak to the same team members.

Over the years I have recommended them to friends and family as a fantastic non bank lender, that can help to lower mortgage repayments. The feedback is always positive from those that take my advice and give them a go.

borrowed money for a car finance this was also added to the investment loan, making the investment loan larger, with a higher interest rate. For over three years I have been writing to these [Content Removed] in QLD, and they have avoided dealing with the matter for 3 -4 years and kept robbing funds. These are the worst [Content Removed] in the planet as they have NO interest in the customer. Management are the worst offenders and don't face the customer. The only option left is to sue loans.com and notify the public. These [Content Removed] don't have a complaint handling process, and lies and con the client, it is email after email, and the complaints don't get resolved. Recently FIRST MAC LOANS.COM got hacked and all customers were impacted with this large data breach. Not once did these [Content Removed] call the customer, and the online portal was blocked. For over 4 months customers have not been able to use the online portal, as they interfere with the customers ledgers and [Content Removed] them with various interest rates. I was first put on 7.30% which was a fake interest and them within a week, I was dropped down to 6. 45%, this is how they rob you, and most people will not check statements. Loans.com sent fake unlawful bank statements with NO data so, they can at any time make changes to the ledgers. These are the biggest misleading deceptive third grade lairs.

few days later I got a call from someone who made me go through their ridiculous doubled up security check and then wasn’t interested in anything I had to say, as she cut me off, telling me she’d already done a review and they wouldn’t improve my rates! I explained there were better rates available elsewhere and that I’d been with them for many years, but she said there’s nothing more they’d do - she couldn’t get off the line fast enough.

The gobsmacking thing was that she then sent me mortgage discharge documents, without even asking for them! How do you tell a customer to F* off without actually saying it!! They really could not care less.

Of course the discharge documents include a raft of onerous discharge fees.

Deserve a zero review – An online bank, with interest rate 2% above the reserve bank cash rate currently on 6.35%. Don't get suckered in with all the fake positive reviews. Gouging gouge gouge gouge

5 star reviews are fake – The 5 star reviews has 'FAKE' written all over it. Cut and paste - no one speaks like that. Sentence structure is all the same. How have the reviews been approved?

Bad as primary bank, good at loans – I have been with these guys for about 7 years and been happy. The biggest thing they need to work on is transferring money between them and other banks. They take ages and when you need to move money around quickly you will be left short! There is no reason to take as long as three days in some cases. No instant bank transfers, shocking customer support – Buggy app. Transfers between accounts don't show instantly if it's done after hours. The system just seems ancient. Main gripe is not having instant transfers, being 2024, this should be the standard. Requesting a discharge form is slow. Force you to call them for the discharge authority form, when other a lot of places have theirs available… Read more

My wife and i had to supply the required documentation via a very easy to use page on the loans.com.au site. It was seamless. It was easier than dealing with the bank i had the loan with already. Big 4 making me jump through pointless hoops for information they already had. It was honestly easier to refinance with these guys, rather than deal with the bank i already had a relationship with. a Tad over a week later and we had full approval for a loan with a better interest rate than the big4 was offering. It could've been quicker had i not mixed up some paperwork-totally my fault. Would not hesitate to contact Stuart again.

customer service is just sub-standard. They may as well use a chat or as their real people are just as effective - updating bank details for direct debit is not easily done - dishonor fees as result of the above - I had to call to manually get the loan set up in the app because it didn't refresh on settlement

I know it's going to cost more money, but I'm looking to move back to homestar and take our car loan there too. I'm done. These guys were good a few years ago but not anymore.

Loan process – Guys stay away from these guys been with them for over 5 years. They tell you things and then make you apply for Loans to not approve and put inquiries against your name and waste your time. They never call back you have to chase everything.
