More recently we have signed up for our fourth loan through loans.com.au and had no issues with the online application portal. We were also happy with their service, interest rates and lack of fees once again.

We have called Loans numerous times to discuss different properties we were looking at, how much money we could loan, interest rates, offset ACs, etc. and every time we get someone knowledgeable and friendly. They have so much patience for the multitude of questions, are easy to get through to on the phone and I consistently get to speak to the same team members.

Over the years I have recommended them to friends and family as a fantastic non bank lender, that can help to lower mortgage repayments. The feedback is always positive from those that take my advice and give them a go.

borrowed money for a car finance this was also added to the investment loan, making the investment loan larger, with a higher interest rate. For over three years I have been writing to these [Content Removed] in QLD, and they have avoided dealing with the matter for 3 -4 years and kept robbing funds. These are the worst [Content Removed] in the planet as they have NO interest in the customer. Management are the worst offenders and don't face the customer. The only option left is to sue loans.com and notify the public. These [Content Removed] don't have a complaint handling process, and lies and con the client, it is email after email, and the complaints don't get resolved. Recently FIRST MAC LOANS.COM got hacked and all customers were impacted with this large data breach. Not once did these [Content Removed] call the customer, and the online portal was blocked. For over 4 months customers have not been able to use the online portal, as they interfere with the customers ledgers and [Content Removed] them with various interest rates. I was first put on 7.30% which was a fake interest and them within a week, I was dropped down to 6. 45%, this is how they rob you, and most people will not check statements. Loans.com sent fake unlawful bank statements with NO data so, they can at any time make changes to the ledgers. These are the biggest misleading deceptive third grade lairs.

communication felt dismissive, and I was left feeling as though I was being treated like I had done something wrong. A simple, transparent reason for the decision would have made a huge difference.

The application itself was straightforward enough, but that means very little when the outcome is delivered with no real feedback or respect for the customer. I wouldn't recommend loans.com.au based on my experience, and I won't be using their services again.

To make it worse, I then received full approval from Westpac with no issues. I was dealing with Jessica on the admin side, while an incompetent finance team seemed to be making decisions in the background without properly assessing the file. Zero accountability, zero transparency. I’d love to see their loan book, probably running on fumes.

Hopeless people. Even after submitting all evidence they did not approve the home loan. Went to my bank next day and got the loan approved the same day. What a waste of time. Idiots.

consider another reputable bank that offered more flexibility, so I went ahead and obtained pre-approval from them as well.

Eventually, I made an offer on a property with a 21-day finance approval condition. Unfortunately, I still hadn’t received confirmation by the 19th day, and I started to panic as I had only 48 hours remaining.

That’s when I reached out to loans.com.au again and explained the situation to Jessica. She immediately gave me confidence and reassured me that if I provided all the required documents promptly, they would do their best to achieve the approval before settlement.

I did everything I could to provide the paperwork on time, and Jessica and the team delivered — I received my final approval in less than 48 hours!

As a customer, this experience really made me realise that it’s not just about how reputable a bank is or how flexible the product may be. The level of service, communication, support and commitment you receive when things get stressful matters just as much.

Jessica was absolutely fantastic throughout the process. She gave me confidence when I was under pressure and helped make what could have been a very stressful situation much easier.

Bad as primary bank, good at loans – I have been with these guys for about 7 years and been happy. The biggest thing they need to work on is transferring money between them and other banks. They take ages and when you need to move money around quickly you will be left short! There is no reason to take as long as three days in some cases. few days later I got a call from someone who made me go through their ridiculous doubled up security check and then wasn’t interested in anything I had to say, as she cut me off, telling me she’d already done a review and they wouldn’t improve my rates! I explained there were better rates available elsewhere and that I’d been with them for many years, but she said there’s nothing more they’d do - she couldn’t get off the line fast enough.

The gobsmacking thing was that she then sent me mortgage discharge documents, without even asking for them! How do you tell a customer to F* off without actually saying it!! They really could not care less.

Of course the discharge documents include a raft of onerous discharge fees.

Deserve a zero review – An online bank, with interest rate 2% above the reserve bank cash rate currently on 6.35%. Don't get suckered in with all the fake positive reviews. Gouging gouge gouge gouge

5 star reviews are fake – The 5 star reviews has 'FAKE' written all over it. Cut and paste - no one speaks like that. Sentence structure is all the same. How have the reviews been approved?
