Please note this bank is charging existing customers around 4.5% while they advertise he same home loan product for 3-3.5%. I think it is unacceptable, illegal and misleading for anyone signing up with loans.com.au.

They were very helpful and replied to emails very promptly. I would highly recommend if you want to change to a company with good interest rates. They also have a good and easy to understand phone app and website.

From the moment I contacted Loans.com.au I was made to feel important and my business was important as well. Submitting documentation was reasonably easy as I was refinancing and had a few curly issues. However, once again, the staff were brilliant with helping me through the process. Nothing was too difficult for them. Overall a 5+ star rating and I've ended up with a loan 2% better than my old one!!! BONUS!!!

From pre-approval to settlement, the process was an easy one with loans.com.au. Submitting documentation was easy through the online portal. Once I signed a contract, finance was approved super quickly as well. I did do some research and the product offered by loans.com.au was a pretty good deal. As a first home buyer, things were explained to me along the way which helped!

We have not had any major issues having had a home loan with these guys for awhile but I find it frustrating there is no loyalty for staying with them. They won't match or even get close to the advertised rate for new customers once you have secured your loan no matter how many times you ask. We will be moving to a different company soon as their complacency is frustrating and not good customer service.

Trying to get customer service is almost impossible. By the end of the first 6 months they had slowly raised my rate above the standard rate. I’m stuck & can’t get out of my loan, as I have stopped working & can’t refinance.
I’m worse off than I would have been if l had stayed with ANZ original home loan.
Stay where you are!
Loans.com.au have been the most expensive!

Clear, responsive and helpful. Rapid decisions, the App is very good for submitting documents and tracking early progress and staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Email communication was also ok and everything was completed on time, so full marks.

This company was a real let down. The discharge department did not send the relevant documents to their solicitor and settlement was unable to go through. All parties were upset and this incident made the whole settlement very unpleasant. Settlement has to be postponed as a result. Due to delay in settlement, payout differences were made at the expense of the customer and only after several emails and phone calls made by customer and customer’s settlement agent, then the adjustment is reverted to reflect the correct amount. Their customer service is slow and hotline is always busy which is a con for most of communications I have to make with them. But I do find they are more generous on lending capacity compared to other banks especially big 4, they play safe and only are willing to lend minimum amount.
