cannot compare prices.... The communication between customer service is very poor, often delayed and when you eventually get a response, it will always be incorrect, many emails were sent back and forth before things were rectified. Be careful of the sales quote and the contract wording, they will word things to benefit them not you and when you argue the point they basically keep you hanging for a long time only to come back and disappoint you, telling you, you are wrong, you signed off on the working drawings, it's your fault BUT when they make a mistake they will not take accountability until you push the issue and only then they will compromise with something redicilulous. The workmanship is touch and go, could be better, Afterall you are paying top dollar for your house. Communication can be more efficient and it would be nice if they had more compassion and empathy for their clients. This is not our first build, we've built 3 times prior and I must emphasis that this is by far the worst experience. Do your own research and look at all current reviews, don't be fooled, yes there are good and bad reviews but they're definitely falling through the cracks now. All builders have good and bad, however as long as they take accountability and are willing to work with the client to rectify things, that's all you need. You don't want snotty people talking down on you and belittling you, that's very unprofessional. Stay away from Long Island Homes

management of the build exceeded expectation. Any issues raised by us or our independent inspector were rectified without issue. Contract stated 12 months for our 2 story house however it was completed in 7 1/2 months to a high standard. I would definitely recommend LIH to anyone looking at building. I would build with them again without hesitation.

Communication was seamless throughout the project. I was kept informed at every step, and any questions or concerns I had were addressed. Kass was friendly, approachable, and incredibly organised, making what could have been a stressful process feel smooth.
Finally, a thank you to Steve who oversaw the build. Any defects noted on the building inspection report were addressed and fixed. He was a pleasure to deal with on my final inspections and handover.
Thank you to the whole team, I cant wait to move in to my new home.

The whole team is amazing, great communication, flexible, respectful, reliable and take time to understand what you want as a client making what is probably the biggest investment of your life.
We received our keys within 9 months after construction started for a double story house which was unbelievable post COVID!
Our experience was seamless, no hick ups, delays or concern through the whole process.
Long Island home have one of the best double story floor plans of premium quality which looks and feels exceptional.

We then moved over to the Colour Selection , we had a great day choosing our selections with Hayley / Danae , the communication during this process was great , anything that needed to be addressed or followed up was always done . Danae was our client liaison who helped us immensely she was always picking up details that we had missed or over looked and always came up with a solution or an option which we appreciate so much , Thanks Danae for all your hard work . We then moved to site where we had Dragan as our Site supervisor, Dragan was amazing !! We had a few little bumps in the road like , we had ordered a custom brick which was a longer order to arrive , he organised other things to be done so the build didn’t stop. When we had our site visits he was very knowledgeable and always answered and addressed any questions or concerns we had , he also picked up things that even our private inspector didn’t pick up . Thank you Dragan for your dedication and hard work with our build . We would also like to thank the engineers and management and behind the scenes people and trades that built our house , I can honestly say that this build felt like a family working together to create our dream home. Fantastic from start to finish – From the first walk through of the display home in Geelong until handover of our new home Long Island Homes exceeded our expectations. Buyer Beware - We paid a deposit that they now won't return! – We were advised of a price increase and were told that if we paid $1500 our price will be held for 12/15 months - not sure which one, every communication was different. They didn't tell us that there was a 60 day "file to office clause" and when the file wasn't signed in 60 days they kept the $1500. Currently in dispute with DBDRV. house for approx 2 years and are constantly having to rearrange and re-booked for someone to return and finish off defects on LIH end. We were also told at handover that if we had left a nice 5 star review on google and product review that they would post out 2x gold class tickets... our issues were not "covid" affected for a long time, and honesty cannot be bought. Please be wary of other 5 star reviews as they may have been smoothed over.

Our client liaison Danae was absolutely amazing right from the beginning - she was always responsive to our calls and emails but also very helpful throughout the journey and provided us with such comfort and confidence throughout the process.
Tabu was a great help throughout our colour appointment and really helped us design our room.
Our site supervisor Joe is a top guy and so glad we had him look after our build. He provided great insights to our silly questions but also has great knowledge and experience.
We had a team of experts to help us through a journey that could have been stressful but the made it so seamless.
We are currently enjoying our beautiful home and that's thanks to the team at LIH.
90 Day Maintenance – So we were lucky enough to take possession of our brand new Long Island Homes home in late April 2023. Our client liason and our site supervisor said if there are any dramas just write them down on the welcome to your new home pack and in 90 days just send it to them. Anyway we sent it to them at our 90 days and within a couple of weeks they had a representative who spent about 1/2 a day fixing little issues with the paint and anything else that was on our list.
