From signing the contract to the 1st maintenance inspection. Metro Homes have been great!
The build was well managed. Staff are always approachable. The workmanship is good and the quality of my property is high. If I have any questions or concerns the office and/or site/maintenance manager would address in a timely manner. The maintenance process is good so far. Overall I love my new home.

My build with Metro is a Great experience
Thank you Metro Homes! Our experience with Metro was terrific, the build was well managed from the start to the end. Customer service from Metro is on point as they clearly care about their customers. The quality of Metro Homes houses is very good and we would definitely recommend you to build with Metro Homes. The building price was very clear and we were happy with it.

Need your view on the quality of build
I am not happy with the quality of build at the alfresco, the garage, and the eaves joins I was told that is how they are supposed to look like before painting. I am greatly with their standard of quality. I invite your views and advice on this.

Disgusting experience of building with Metro Homes
MUST READ AS YOU ARE ABOUT TO SPEND A HUGE AMOUNT
Poor planning, poor quality of material, poor workmanship and false promises of low cost, this is all you get at Metro Homes. What a shameful way of doing business!!!
Poor Planning: They plan poorly and when you realise, it may be either too late or you will be asked to pay extra for changes. For example, they planned our aircon outdoor unit to make the passage very narrow. Later I had to suggest them to change the location and had to pay extra as well. Similarly they didn't suggest many thing...

Poor Quality Material: Paid extra to Metro Homes for drawers and shelving towers in Walk-in Robes as it was not part of standard package. Less than two years, and they are getting structurally deformed!!! Shame. No action taken by Metro even though they supplied the towers. Informed them with photos as well. Poor Workmanship: Many examples such as *Shower floor slope not maintained to cause water to stay in shower floor area. *Too much floor slope in Alfresco that outdoor blinds touch floor at one end but remain atleast 50mm above the floor at other end when shutting the blinds. * Variation in mortar colour between bricks.- Customer Service

I have nothing but good words and praise for Metro!
From the very beginning when I was looking for a house/land package, they were the only builders to even respond to my query. Their response was "this particular block isn't available, but come down to our display home and we can show you what else is available".

Well done Metro homes. We are enjoying our new home and was built to our expectation. We were a bit anxious since it was our first home, but the staff was so friendly and they supported us throughout. Metro homes made the building an exciting journey. The site manager was excellent.

Would recommend metro
From my very first meeting with my sales rep to my handover day with my sight supervisor and everyone in between in the office, building with Metro Homes was great. They kept in regular contact with me on the progress aswell as any delays and were always happy to answer any questions or concerns I had along the way.
As a first home owner and building during a pandemic, I thought it would be a nightmare but it was the opposite. I went into all my selections knowing what I wanted having visited the businesses prior which made the process alot quicker and easier saving me alot of time in the long run.
I am really happy with my build and the end result is of a high standard. I would definitely recommend metro homes to anyone looking to build.

Enjoyed my time with Metro Homes!
The building process with Metro Homes was smooth and easy. The staff are friendly and helpful and i always felt supported. Mick (my Site Supervisor) was amazing and i couldn't recommend him enough. Being a first home builder i leaned on Mick for advise and recommendations and he was happy to contribute his thoughts and help me along! I would advice to pay attention in the designing stage the most when building as its easy to miss things. Checking every stage is a must as mistakes do happen with trades but Metro were always happy to fix any issues that occurred. Thanks

Good Quality Build & Service
Well done Metro team. We have high standards and expectations. We ask for transparency and honesty during the building process and conveyed this to them during the initial meeting. All over Metro delivered. There were some delays, however that's understandable due to COVID.

Our experience with Metro Homes has been incredible! This is our first home and we’ve felt supported at every stage. Communication has been clear throughout the entire process right up to handover - even through the madness of Covid lockdowns! Everyone in Metro kept us in the loop and available when we had questions. Their fixed price quote had ensured us that once the contract is signed, we can forget about any rises and falls as they bear any additional costs.

The whole team at Metro provided great support and service from Day 1! They provided us with our dream home and we are so appreciative that they were always available when we needed them. Building a new home has stresses but we can honestly recommend the Metro Home team to everyone as they relieve the stress and take meticulous care in giving you everything you ask for in a timely manner.

Excellent value for money and great service
We've built 2 investment properties with Metro and we're were extremely happy with the Sales service we received from Liselle, our build supervisor Matthew, and the overall finished product. All staff involved are helpful and eager to help in any way possible.
All builds will encounter issues, however I've been extremely happy with how they've resolved each of the problems. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or build with Metro again.

People say that you really don't know a company until you have had some issues and it is how the company handles these issues and complaints that make them worthy of my business.
I can see that there are some really good reviews, regardless if they have been paid an incentive for the review or not. But then there are some really bad reviews.
My question is for the those who gave a bad review, did you receive anything for that review like those who wrote a good review did?
I also see that the Metro Rep comments on all the good reviews but they don't seem to care too much about the bad reviews. Is this how they treat their customers? What happens for those who put in a bad review? Because to me it seems like they are just left high and dry without a response.
For those who put in a bad review, have you been contacted by Metro directly to resolve your issues? And how well was it handled?
Do they actually care about their customers?
How does the company deal with complaints, do they have a proper complaints process?

There over 100 online review sites in Australia and therefore we do our best to respond online but we always contact them via email or phone directly. Also we do not pay for a review. We have discussed this with Product Review however they have gone ahead and added this to this page despite no proof. It must have been your question that triggered them to respond to the negative reviews, and it makes the company look worse for not responding sooner. Previous to this, we did not hear from them regarding our review and was not contacted by them to resolve the issue of our noisy airconditioner. We didn't get any incentives for posting my review and we also didn't get any compensation for all the time I took off from work to be present when all the trades attended. Some times the trades didn't even show up when they said they would be there to fix the issues. We didn't even get an apology from them, not once. If I was you, would look at another builder and steer clear of this one. Absolute shocker of a company.
