was highly accommodating to my requests and kept me in the loop as the build was progressing. I highly recommend building with RBWA. The final cost was the same as estimated when the contract was signed and there were no hidden costs unknown.

Residential building do not care about there clients – We had issues every step of the way. From slab down to a year &1/2 after completion they will still fixing them. Highlight of building with RBWA would certainly be the post-construction team – I had my own expectations of the floor plan – the Builder was willing to accommodate and customise the entire floor plan without any complaints. industry - most Builders would take around 7 to 10 days.

At the very early stages of construction, Site Supervisors did seem to constantly change. But, Aaron Carter took over and ended up doing a fantastic job.

Had a number of issues with plumbing, but the post-construction team were absolutely phenomenal - they did the right thing by me and ensured that everything got fixed. Both Amy D'Mello and Lauren Poulter did a great job, and they seemed to genuinely care.

It doesn't matter who you build your house through, it would certainly be stressful, as the number of people involved from start to finish is just staggering. But what really matters is how dedicated the post-construction team is in getting issues resolved and have a sense of urgency about it.

I would certainly recommend RBWA - the end product in my case turned out to be great.

nothing outstanding to do apart from moving in our belongings and furniture and then setting the house up the way we wanted it, of course.

Found dealing with all levels of staff at RBWA, from initial sales, new home administration / pre-start, construction and even just contacting over the phone to be very good and a positive experience.

Like any build there was the odd issue here and there but the difference is that once it was raised it was taken care of and there weren't too many of these anyhow.

From our experience I would be confident to recommend MetroStyle to others as a quality building process and well built home.

years from signing the contract to keys handover to our single story 3x2 house - Q42013 to Q42015. Costly as we were renting and paying mortgage during this time. Joy of first home shattered somewhere in between these 2 years managing budget blowout, battle with builder over schedule delay and project creep.

2. Neighbour went through lengthy and costly legal battle over breach of design code by developer on retaining wall construction. Matter resolved by out of court settlement where developer paid compensation to neighbour. During this period we could not access our alfresco and outdoor setting as the retaining wall and fence were being fixed- first summer season of new house was not pleasant. No friends and family visits.

3. 4 months after moving in from March 2016 till date there is constant moisture and mould in several interior walls coming from the base slab. Root cause is failure to waterproof foundation. After 6 property inspection by various reps the builder has not taken any action to fix issue. To fix this the walls will be stripped bare and repainted. 5-7 weeks of indoor work.

4. too many build defects- smoke alarms keep goings off, noisy aircon ducts, shabby paint job, cornice falling off, pavers cave in and slope set wrong, water ingress through roof tiling, shabby and rough garage slab work, the list goes on.

Happy with Metro Syle – We are so happy to have our home built by Metro Style. Every progress of the house we were notified through SMS and it gets exciting every time we received news. There were imperfections but as a whole I won't take that against them because nobody is perfect. When we saw our house finished it was such a dream fulfilled. Impressed and recommend to others – I am happy with the final build and price by Metro Style, especially due to the block restraints - slope, retaining, block shape that was irregular and boundary wall issues. Generally Good – This experience with Metrostyle was not as smooth as my previous experiences. The pre-build experience and sales experience were good. The build started well, but ran into troubles later on. In the end it was a month behind schedule. The overall workmanship and level of finish was quite good, although there were a few details that could have used some more attention.

A pleasure to build with Metro Style – We are extremely happy that we decided to use Metro Style and very delighted with the quality of finishers! Amazing Service – After a horrendous start with a now defunct builder, MetroStyle came to the rescue and finished the build with the utmost professionalism and speed they could muster. Izabela in the office and Mario on Site were a pleasure to deal with and turned a once stressful situation into a smooth operation, and thanks to them the finished product look wonderful.

Excellent assistance on the pre-start – I just had my pre-start meeting. Poor after care - disgusting and time consuming – All roses while they sign you up for your house. Then they throw up a rubbish product. When you attempt to have the long list of items sorted at the end no-one returns your calls or allows you to speak to the next level person in charge. toilet seats don't stay up, plaster is terrible grout stains severe, scratched glass and windows, water leaks. We have been forced to contract repair works ourselves as a result of the lack of response following a project.

moved in 18 months ago and still waiting for the garage door company to attend noisy/rattling opening and closing which actually buckled in 2 places the weekend we moved in. i had to prop the door shut with some timber for overnight security, they rocked up 1 week later to inspect !!

still waiting for the paving contractor to finish of with paving sand which he claimed was not part of his contract when he came to have a look, told me he would be in touch to organise a time...that was 6 months ago.

money would have been better spent with another company or buying an existing home. Umm.. large open living, kitchen games area. Kids section with activity room. Forced to take the key (threatened that we would have to pay their interest) even though we weren't happy with the house. Plastering is absolutely terrible, tricky to paint with a roller because it's so uneven. Put up dented doorframes, and they're not even on straight. Took 3 years to finish painting the ceiling! [name censored], the supervisor did nothing to help the company he worked for leave us with a good impression. Crooked cornice replaced 4 times. Water in toilet floor runs out of the room instead of into the drain.When we gently complained we were told "It's a project home, what did you expect?" Were initially told that we would be compensated for the unpainted ceiling with a cheque. Then we were sent a cheque for $1500 to cover THE WHOLE HOUSE - which we refused. Still pending.. moved in 2005

Terrible – Bad finish of the job. Late on delivery. No response to questions on penalty rates. forced to agree to variations. Time to consider variations too short. approachable during pre-start and prior to signing the contract. They do not like being questioned. have a tendency to hide things. overall experience was not pleasant.

to build a dog house - my pups are worth more than that!

Lack of communciation,when they communciated it was difficult to determine what was truth and what was 'to try and placate the client'. Representatives had no authority and always had to refer queries up the management chain. Managememnt didn't give a rats for the client. Lucky to get a response from them unless you involve lawyers. Late finishing, they are unable to honour contract or even I suspect understand them. Be very wary of any company sitting under the JWH Group as Metrostyle does - you will be burnt.

Avoid this company – Very poor communicators, once they have your money they don't care about you anymore. We have lived in our house for 3 years now and are still waiting to get problems fixed. 3 times they fixed it before doing it correctly.

• Bathroom tiles floor to walk grout lines do not line up, and one one side of the wall they match up and the direct opposite they are a half tile out. They still won't fix it.

• Garage door dosnt not sit flat on carport slab, slab is uneven.

• Front porch keeps flooding, finally after 3 years they have installed another down pipe. Although I'm still waiting for it to be painted.

Many more to list, they have a very very poor after care service and very rude staff. I like the house plan Poor quality trade people used, poor quality supervisors. Problems after problems after 3 years still trying to get things fixed.

also that my hubby is a tradie so knew what to look out for and always expected a top job. He is very happy with the home that has been built for us. Our contact at metro stle was always available to us to speak to and our variations were updated immediately. we corresponded by email fax and phone. we even kept in contact with our oringinal sales consultant who also knew about and kept an eye out on our build. The build went alright some bumps along the way but nothing that our building supervisor wasnt prepared to fix. He was fabulous and always available to talk and to get the job done as soon as possible and to the highest spec. We had weekly phone calls advising of updates and schedule about what was going to happen next. If there was a problem he met my husband on site within the 24 hours to view and offer solutions. the variations were costly but i guess they are with most builds.
