Miele CM 5000 / 5100 Questions & Answers
VerifiedCoffee beans wont feed into the grinder consistently regardless of the setting, any help?
The setting is only for how fine you want to grind there no program to set consistency you can set by amout of coffee selection I have tucked away CM 500 as the product is outdated not value for money Nexexpresso is worth the buy but you pay 65 cents per cup
Our unit has been trouble free over the years we have had it the only problem is that at times the coffee beans wont feed into the grinder consistently.
I had the beans not feeding problem, but it is only with oily beans, they stick together. Provided you get beans that are not oily, there is no problem. Mainly happened in cold weather. If you have oily beans, just mix them with non oily beans.
What's the difference between the CM 5000 and the CM 5100?
It appears (according to Miele's web site) that the 5000 model is no longer available. I think from memory the 5000 model had a more manual system for frothing milk, whereas the 5100 is more automated.
