Mint Telecom NBN 50/20 (Standard)

Mint Telecom is amazing! Never had service as this good! They were on top of their costumer services and their internet connection, they sent technicians when the connection wasn't right even before I asked or complained! It sort it out straight away! Thank you!! Show details ·  1

We recently noticed a few nights when the connection dropped out. It was always strong during the day but the increased traffic at night must’ve been the weak link. Not great, not customer centric at all – Not a very customer-centric business. Large missed payment fees, no refunds if you pay in advance but cancel before end of the month and blaming low-margin NBN which as a consumer I don't need to know about. Speeds were decent when it worked, but often had dropouts or just a general lag during peak times. Won't use these guys again. Show details

nobody seemed to care about - constant calls to Telstra brought little or no response, or a hand-off saying "that's the best you can expect with fixed wireless". The call to Mint was the best decision I could have made. I was doing some research on plans & pricing at the Mint site when I found the chat option, and was amazed to get an instant response from a real person. Everything I was looking for was provided, and that one interaction led to a decision to change. The new modem arrived promptly, my new service was on an alternate NBN port so we were able to change to the Mint service before disconnecting Telstra, and our landline switched over and worked at exactly the arranged time. The first observation was that our internet speed was immediately doubled! Since then the connection has been totally reliable and at an acceptable speed all hours of the day. A couple of queries to Mint have also been dealt with immediately. Great service all round - I could not be happier!

Had an issue with the modem but thought might check on mint and again within a day or so they had reviewed our service history and checked for drop outs and got a report back to us.

I have moved and now rent out my property, unfortunately the tenants already have a deal that lasts another 12months so we aren’t continuing. But even the cancellation process was so easy.

Today at 1609 I went onto my online account and raised a ticket which said basically what I said above and that I have to cancel.

At 1619 I had a response from Joshua which said no worries we will close your account by end of business today.

That was the whole process, the company should be used as a demonstration in business degrees in customer service, it’s actually incredible - Tassie owned I think too which I like.

OZZY owned and OZZY customer service ! big plusses for me i have been with this company now for a year (SA and TAS) and i am very very impressed the NBN speeds are always there even at busy times always and if i have any issues (very rare ) the team go above and beyond what i have experienced in over 20 years of using many many other ISPs. if you are unsure of whether to take the plunge with mint i say go for it and you wont be disappointed Xxxxxxxxxx. are far superior to the more well known providers. Actually talking to a person located in Australia is such a bonus and the wait times to talk to someone are minimal. I am so thrilled I chose Mint and highly recommend them to one and all !!!!

Customer service is Australian – Internet/NBN outages can be extremely frustrating when speaking to overseas customer service due to the language barrier. Yet all Mint customer service staff are from Hobart. Why wouldn't you support a competent company based in Tasmania ?! Show details ·  1

fault-finding scripts you get with other providers (you know the ones I'm talking about). They're competitively priced, they're local to Tasmania, they understand the peculiarities of our wonderful island state, and like a well trained butler, they just get things done without any fuss or bother.

Mint is #1 – Been with mint for about 5 years now. They're absolutely great, highly recommended, which I only recommend Mint now to anyone who needs to change providers. Customer service is great. Mint with a standard plan to have a go. Now it is almost one month and I am really happy with even this standard plan. Their services are excellent and reliable. I understand the pains with bad internet and service so I thought is good to share my personal experience. I know it was just one month but before I made a change, I got frequent dropouts. But they were gone after I changed to Mint.
