Excllent unit – The unit excellent in many ways. Able to cool and heat a large open plan area measuring approx8mately 8x10 m with a 3.5 m ceiling. It is very quiet even under maximum load. A Cool Breeze – The Mitsubishi Heavy Industries 9.5kW air-conditioner is good at lowering the temperature and then maintaining it for a large room. We use it to condition the air in our CBD Apartment. We have 2 large windows facing the sun. One in the morning and one in the afternoon. This unit successfully keeps our apartment comfortable. Not only that, it's cheap to run. Our electricity bill only went up between 10% and 20% compared to before installation. Show details
Great unit which runs quietly and efficiently – The system worked flawlessly during the hottest days (41deg celsius). There was no appreciative reduction in cooling during even the hottest of days. Mitsubishi Heavy Industries 9kw and 7kw – I have had Mitsubishi Heavy Industries aircons for over 15 years now, so I bought another two to replace them. the 9kw is impressive. It cools our big room quickly and efficiently. the 7kw is also great for the smaller area. The only comment I have (as with all aircons) is that they are not accurate in the temperature they keep, which can be as much as +2 -2 variation depending on the outside temperatuture. It does what it's made to do – I have a large area to keep comfortable and it does just that , its able to cool or heat the whole house from just one location and costs me nothing to run. I also use solar to supply the energy. so I get the best of both worlds, Its been over a year now and the unit is just as good as when it was first installed. Not the best experience so far – I purchased 4 MHI Air conditioners in August based on reviews in this website including the 9.5kW Bronte series. One of the other units fried a circuit board in early December so not a great experience so far in terms of reliability. Warranty claim was submitted on 18 December and was not fixed until 8 January. have worked well. I hope we don't have any more issues. A second air conditioning unit has stopped working in less than a year since installing, probably a blown circuit board. Not impressed with the reliability so far!
AC is OK but MHIAA Company not OK! – Remote control system doesn’t work and Mitsubishi HI were not easy or professional to deal with. The AC unit seems fine but MHIAC is not a company I have enjoyed dealing with at all. Sorry! Show details
Not 100% – Had problems with misaligned sensors causing unit to shut down. The indoor unit is noisy even at the lowest speed and it pops and creaks Otherwise it warms up the open plan home effectively Show details

Unit is aesthetically pleasing as far as split systems go, it's efficient, gets the job done effortlessly and a welcome relief on hot days or cold nights. pictures. Other than that I have no complaints at the present time. However, I am not sure from the information on the remote what type of batteries it uses. It doesn't say AA or AAA. The battery cover is a bit hard to open to have a look, but I doubt I will need new batteries just yet.

Awesome product! – The Unit runs well and does a great job to cool a quite large area, even on extremely hot days. It is quiet running, very easy to adjust temperature, adjust air flow, setting timers, etc. It’s quiet running and can hardly be heard plus it’s compact and looks tidy on the wall.

don't need to turn it down low to cool our area so are hoping that it will be reasonable and, let's face it, in a Queensland summer, we don't mind paying a bit to have the comfort of a cool house.

I love my air conditioner – We have a large area to cover and the 9.5kW has done the job. It is very quiet and has coped without a problem being on all day and half the night. All the controls are easy to understand and change to suit your house. I also like that the power button glows so that if you need to turn it off in the middle of the nice it is easy to find.
