A life saver! – This is a reliable aircon made in Japan by a quality company. I have a larger model in my living/dining room. Apart from being of excellent quality it has the wonderful feature of being able to detatch and wash the blades which is fantastic. Show details
Energy saving – I leave the unit on auto all day in winter. The units in my bedroom. Its super quiet. Does a great job of cooling the room on hot days too. We have 4 units in our townhouse.
Sleeping made easy – Works great in the bedroom The system and remote control is easy to use, so u can preset times and to turn on and off as u wish. This split system works great for the average size bedroom that's for sure. Show details

Rubbish – Indoor Fan fault occurred after one month, renders the unit useless. The only way we can get the indoor fan to work is to push it with a stick. Waste of money, oh well let's fill all the paperwork out and wait...... Should have got a cheap one at least it would have worked. Show details
Excellent in hot and humid conditions – This product is placed in my bedroom and gets usage every day. I can’t sleep in a hot environment, so I predominately use the fan feature at night. I found it small but powerful for the air conditioning feature. It is quiet and energy efficient. I used to think air conditioners were expensive to run but have now changed my mind Show details
good a/c – Got it installed in the last summer and since then it's working as expected. Nothing much really stands out. Noise level is okay. Cool down the room really quick (note: It's only a 3*3m*m small bedroom) The only thing I don't really like is the looking. It's not fashion, probably a bit ugly. But it is working fine. Show details

Great quality – Mitsubishi. These folks have been around for years. There is just no better unit out there with this quality and reliability. Straight forward easy installation and setup. I ordered everything needed and got it in about a week. My mini-split is up and running, whisper quiet. Show details

For the bedroom – Very Quiet and keeps the temp at exactly what you set it at verified by a commercial thermometer i have in the bedroom. I have another brand in the lounge room but i purchased this for the bedroom because it is so quiet. I am yet to try it in extreme heat. Show details
Quiet and functional – Initially chose this product as it was the same as we had in the rental before purchasing and was on offer in Harvey Norman. Have had no issues at all with the system. Cools well and is used in the bedrooms so is also quiet. We added more machines to further bedrooms and chose the same system we were so happy. Show details
The best summer ever!! – Thank goodness we put these systems in before the stinker summer we just had and the ones to come... Everyone comments on how cool and quiet our house is. They don't realise the system is even on! A few family members have gone on to install the same units, Best ever!! Show details
Seems to be good systems for the price – Cooling is very good, hearing can be a bit noisy sometimes (noise and vibrations in some units) although this may be the installers fault Price and specifications seem good and the units look a lot better than our old unit in the living room. No idea why my original review was postponed for so many years, looks like this model is discontinued Now! Anyway I have touched it up now so my original wasn’t wasted. Show details
Best Airconditioner – I have always go for Mitsubishi brand as they last and durable. I once installed another brand and is not as happy but it was cheaper. It's very quiet, looks good, efficiency made it the best air conditioner ever. Will never look back again. I m happy to pay a little more for it. Show details
Quite and easy to use – After having 3 Fujitsu a/c’s already in the house I was reluctant to change brands but glad I did. I find the mitsu much easier to use ie: the remote has clearer diagrams as well as when you use the remote you don’t have to point it directly at the unit for it work unlike the Fuji, good machine. Perfect for our needs – Great aircon for a reasonable price. Super quiet, efficient and cools the room quickly and easily. Remote control functions are clear and user friendly easy. The unit itself is not too bulky and sits nicely on our wall. We have yet to use it for heating but so far we are very happy with the purchase, highly recommended! Show details

excellent – quiet, easy to use and reliable brand/company. We have other brands of reverse cycle split systems but the Mitzubishi seems better than the others we have. Installation was quick and tidy by professionals and we are impressed by the efficiency by the boys that came on time, were happy and helpfull and cleaned up afterward. What more could you ask for. Thankyou I.C.cool Show details
Quiet and efficient AC! – Installed 2 units last year for the smaller bedrooms. It’s an excellent unit. It’s been running rock solid, keeping the room warm during winter and cool during summer without missing a beat. On a really hot/cold days, it can be a bit noisy when it first starts, but once the room reaches the set temperature, it runs very quiet. So quiet that I… Read more
forgot to turn it off few times thinking it’s already off!
Design wise, the indoor unit looks bigger and not as elegant looking as other brands of the same size, though the outdoor one is pretty compact. Remote is also on the bigger side and does not have backlight or glow in the dark buttons.
Overall, it’s an excellent, efficient, and quiet heating/cooling.
Excellent unit (except the heat settings) – We got one of these for our unit for downstairs. It's a very power-efficient unit, we can run it all day on the Eco mode at 22-24 degrees and it doesn't cost a million dollars. The downstairs of our unit is all open-plan, and this comfortably cools down the entire downstairs area. As we have no ceiling fans downstairs this is really a must-have… Read more
for the summer months. The remote control is easy to understand and use. Never had a problem with it. Runs very quiet on eco mode, but if you bump up the fan speed it can be a little bit noisy (not in a bad way though). Settings-wise it has a lot of different functions available. We haven't really used the heat settings, but in the past when we have, we have found that it makes the area around the unit quite humid so we don't tend to use it for that in the winter months. It was very easy to install the unit (we did have someone do it for us) but it was a quick and simple process and didn't require any excessive work to fit the system.
Quiet & powerful unit – I bought this one for one of my investment properties. The old one was not working properly, so had to ask the installed to take it away. I used to use Mitsubishi aircon, and knew the machine would not disappoint me. This machine is working perfectly as what I expected. Good choice. Show details
Cools the room in only a few minutes! No dry aircon-hangover! – I'm not very fluent in conversations about aircons but this aircon is awesome! It cools quickly, its settings are easy to use, you can set it for peak heat. I like that it's almost completely silent. My dogs sit under it during 46 degree days and it is relatively energy efficient. Our is a hyper inverter...I really don't know what that means. I… Read more
usually get sniffles when I sleep with air-con on (like hotels)...not once have I felt stuffy the next day! I think all round Mitzy is the way to go!
Very quiet Air con. Efficient – It's second time around we purchase Mitsubishi aircons. Compared to Fujitsu, Panasonic we had before, it's the best. quiet especially when you have small kids/babies. & it's very efficient in terms of generate cold and hot air. Don't fee dry when you use them. We purchase 2 this time around in kid's bedroom and master bedroom. Installation is reasonable as well. Not as expensive as the bigger units. Show details
Excellent airconditioner - quiet and energy efficient – Super pleased with this air conditioner. It is quiet, effective and energy efficient. I have been running this most of this summer and could not have been happier with the performance. Remote is extremely easy to use and temperature font size is large. Unit itself looks great, compact and well designed. Show details
Look no further – Have yet to try the heating performance, but cooling is great. Temp setting goes down to 16 deg C. Quiet and hardly noticeable, both internal and external unit. Was installed back to back with no hassles. Am accustomed to other brands with the Turbo/Power function and was disappointed to find out that the unit doesn't have it. However, I've found… Read more
that on max fan and lowest temp, the bedroom cools down very quickly. No annoying light from the internal unit that lights up the room unlike other brands. Can't fault it.
rarely used but broke down – Bedroom unit for 2 years. very little use m great until breakdown. However the Warranty [5 year] seems to have kicked in and defective part being replaced, so well done to MHI for having a good warranty. Who ever heard these days of a 5 year warranty. The controller is so complex, needs a PHD to operate. We just like to set it simply. Show details
Quite and cool the room very fast – Purchase this product in mid last year and recommend by my friend. It is quite quiet and you do not wake up due to the noise. My room is medium size and not take long time to cool the room. It has cooler and heater function and perfectly for me when do not have central heating. Just take time to understand the different options on the remote Show details
Amazingly efficient – We live on stand alone solar power (no grid connection) and never imagined we would be able to run a split system air conditioner. Our solar power system is only 2 kw of panels, not a big system at all. The Mitsubishi is spectacularly efficient, using around 500 watts most of the time, and as low as 250 watts once it has achieved the set… Read more
temperature. It uses only about 500 watts to produce around 2500 watts of heating or cooling effect, which is amongst the most efficient units around. It also uses only 1 watt on standby, many other brands use 5 watts or more on standby, which adds up over time.
It is also exceptionally quiet inside and out. we have the 2.5 kw model, the smallest in the range, installed in the bedroom only a metre from the bed and on the lower fan settings it causes no sleep disturbance at all. (I have tinnitus, ringing in the ears, and I find the slight fan noise actually helps distract me from the tinnitus, helping me get to sleep.) There is even a "quiet mode" where the fan is almost inaudible, but that cuts the performance down a fair bit.
The remote is reasonably clear, it is simple enough to use and the screen is a good size, but the little symbols on the remote control screen are very small and all look the same, so I need to put my glasses on to use it. Bigger symbols would help.
It has a good feature that you can set it to come on at a certain time, or stop at a certain time. But you have to set it to do that AT a time, it is not a count down timer. So if it is midnight and you want it to run for an hour while you get to sleep, you have to change the OFF time from wherever it was set last time you used it (which may have been 4pm for example) round to your desired off time of 1am. It gets annoying when you have to find your glasses, check the time now (midnight), and reset the stop time (1am). It would be so much easier if you could just set a countdown timer ( tell it to cool for 60 minutes.) Anyway, first world problem...
One good feature is that you can hinge the air outlet louvres open to clean the louvres and fan blades. Most brands you can only open the inlet grille to clean the filters, but not the outlet. On the Mitsubishi, you can do both. It helps to stop smelly stuff building up inside.
The minor gripe of the timer function aside, it is a great aircon and I would recommend it to anybody.
Brilliant!! – First time we have purchased a Mitsubishi and boy are we happy. they are a bit expensive but you get what you pay for - quietest air con I have come across, cools room very quickly, very economical and the remote is so easy to use. Very happy with purchase. Show details
Very Quiet – I have only had it a few weeks but I am impressed with this A/C. What amazed me was I was on the balcony near the compressor and thought is was not working because I couldn't hear any noise. I looked inside and it was working, very quietly. So if you have a situation like me where people complain about noise, this is a product to consider. Show details
