Nescafé Gold Barista Style Questions & Answers
VerifiedWhere can you get it
I don't think you can get it anywhere anymore. It ceased to be available about 18months ago in the UK. Nestle dropped the brand for some reason unfortunately--no idea why as it was the best on the market by a mile.
Hi Graham, thanks for taking the time to contact us. We hate to be the bearer of bad news, but sadly we’ve discontinued this product. The decision to stop making one of our products is never an easy one and it's never made lightly as we know there will be some loyal fans. As you can imagine, factors such as declining sales, retail space and new products being launched (so that we can offer variety in our range) can often result in us having to discontinue products.
Whilst we have no current plans to reintroduce this product, we'll be sure to share your feedback with our Marketing team. You might like to try out NESCAFE Gold Signature Original or Smooth varieties and let us know what you think.
Has this been discontinued? My Local Tesco says it's "delisted"
I cannot believe that this product has been discontinued and that a company with Google are charging £106 for two tins? They have to be joking
where is this available to buy in Australia
Where can I buy Nescafe Gold Barista style Intense coffee
the same as every one else is asking please provide an explanation
Obviously the company found it's cheaper more profitable products coffees were lagging in sales. Hold the stocks of the better beans used for the Barista coffee and sell it on the Futures market. People will " get over it " and revert to cheaper, not so good coffee. Makes more profit, regularly. Nescafe is just like any other big brand. Give me your cash!
Is necafe gold smooth barista style a discontinued product?
Yes but I found it still for sale in The Reject Shop.
yes it is not on any of the shelves of the major outlets ,barista style intense is available at the regect shops but it is no where near the the same as the smooth barista
Yes, unfortunately it was discontinued around the middle of this year. it is no longer advertised on the Nescafe website and you will not find it at any major supermarket.
It was the best instant coffee ever made - had to put 2 teaspoons in, but so good if you nailed the combination of water & milk.
Can't find an equivalent
i am trying to buy this product and i have been to 15 stores Has it been removed? It is the best on the market
Yes it's been removed as it was a limited edition. They now have a new one but it's not as good. Nescafe Gold Smooth 3 mild with added barista style ground coffee.
Nescafe told me that it has been repackaged as Nescafe Gold, but Nescafe Gold has a much different flavour. Nescafe stated that that have reformulated Nescafe Gold. I am get to be convinced so I am trying Aldi Barista blend which is stronger but I rather like the flavour. Nescafe Gold is too bland for me.
No bought some yesterday from IGA .. its in new glass jars
Where can I purchase Nescafé gold smooth barista style limited edition?
It's not available anymore as it was a limited edition. I have noticed Nescafe have brought out a new range but this is not included
Where can I find this coffee - it seems no one sells it anymore?
Nescafé Gold barista style
It was a limited edition and it's not available anymore, so sad. I loved it.
Don’t know. Have you tried Woolies or Coles, maybe even IGA?? Not too sure. Sorry.
Is there an issue with supply as I have not been able to purchase at either Coles or Woolworths in the past two weeks? Has the coffee been discontinued?
I only noticed a couple of weeks ago the only tin available was marked limited edition.
Hi, I haven’t really noticed but it could be discontinued that’s why you haven’t seen it. Sorry I can’t help any further.
Don't bother with Nescafe or Moccona coffee's as they now use inferior Robusti beans. Try Natures Cuppa Organic Freeze dried coffee as they use 100% Arabica beans.
Is this product for a filter coffee machine or can it be made like an instant coffee?
It's for clearing and cleaning drains !
It's an instant coffee Sihle
And unless you like grit in the bottom of your cup, you will need a strainer.
I see Woolworths has pulled it from the shelves as its a non seller !.
Definitely an Instant Coffee. Try the 'Smooth' as it is not as overpowering as the 'Intense'.
Best time to buy it is when Coles and Woolies have it 'on sale' at half price.
I was just wondering how do people here make a good instant coffee?? what coffee to water ratio does everyone use and do you add milk or sugar to it? Cheers :)
I like a lot of milk personally so just under 1/2 a cup of milk and the rest water, no sugar, 1 heaped teaspoon of instant coffee
Firstly, don't buy Nescafe Gold Barista Style coffee !. Secondly, buy Carte Noire Classic coffee (No:1 seller in the EU & Brexit). Thirdly, black, white or whatever and no sugar, two level teaspoons of coffee and 250ml water (30ml of milk if I'm having white coffee)
Arhhh, just having one now (Carte Noire Classic).
Firstly try the 'Smooth' variety of Nescafe. I just use hot water, 2 level teaspoons of coffee, and a dash of milk.
What is the weight of the coffee in this jar? Nowhere on my tins can I find a mention of how many grammes are contained in this product
The number on the bottom of the tin is:
L 522304445
o2/2017 14:36
Its marked at the top to the left of the front of my can which is the small one and marked 95g. I think the larger cans are 190g.
