stopped working. The fault guide directed me to contact service who subsequently advised me to return the machine to a third party repair service. Nearly a month later I now have a replacement machine. Hopefully I might have better luck this time round although my confidence in the Vertuo Plus as a reliable machine in the long term is pretty low. If you're contemplating one of these machines, just be mindful that there's no alternative to using Nespresso branded capsules at around 90c a shot. Having tried the available range of blends and given the risk of a fauIty machine, I don't think there's a strong enough reason to select this pod machine over the many others on the market which provide almost limitless options for blends.

machine, Vertuo Next and Plus produce a completely different coffee, This could have been resolved very easy but they don’t admit the manufactures fault and have a very low customer service, Very disappointed.

Keep box so you can return it for warranty replacement – So far unit replaced under warranty twice for leaks. I drink black coffee so I have to spoon off the scum (sorry, they call it crema), it is bitter and spoils the taste of the coffee. the original machines. The Aeroccoino3 is difficult to clean, a males hand cant get into it to effectively clean. Milk residue builds up if not aggressively scrubbed. Capsuled cannot be purchased except from a Nespresso store or on line, delivery service is unreliable. Be careful when filling the water container, when full it weights over 1.2Kg and wet hands can easily loose grip of the unit. Needs non slip surface for sake handling.

I watched their YouTube tutorial on descaling process end up I now have 2 dead Vertuo machine with Over a hundred Vertuo capsules sitting in my counter most of then are limited edition. So I don’t recommend buying this machine even though I love the taste & scent of Nespresso coffee & how convenient it is for us rushing to work in the morning. I don’t recommend buying this machine. Plus you can’t buy this capsules anywhere you need to order it only in Nespresso app. Not worth it.

are really kind and lovely people and are helping where they can. Meantime. I wish I had a different brand machine so I could buy the pods at the supermarket. Nespresso should make these pods available at the supermarket! I am Looking into buying a machine that has pods available at supermarket.

So disappointed- can’t believe how bad this is – On the positive side the machine looks pretty groovy. ( we got a red one). But from there it’s all down hill. make the coffee stronger, but then you are paying a lot of money for pod choices in larger sizes to get a strength and a choice you want. Not very economical. We are going to keep it and test our a selection of the options from our welcome gift package, then give the machine away. Our original Nespresso machine is leaking, which is why we bought a new one - the verturo. Now I think we will look at a different company altogether.

support agent on the phone was rude and kept interrupting me mid sentence. After reading other people’s experiences, this machine obviously has manufacturing faults.

Inconvenient and hidden costs – My parents bought this machine for me for Christmas through JB HiFi as recommended by the sales staff over Nespresso Original variants. original ones as they also bought me a small amount of the Nespresso original kind which were not of any use. I subsequently went home and tried to buy virtuo capsules during my next grocery buy but they are not available through supermarkets and can only be ordered through Nespresso or Nespresso Boutiques. I drove to the nearest Nespresso Boutique (approx 20km) in order to buy some and found out when I got there that it would cost between 8 and 12 dollars for a packet of five depending on the capsule size and so would be paying about 10-11$ for 5 mug capsules. As I was not impressed with either the price or how inconvenient it was to buy the capsules for this machine I inquired at JB HiFi as to the possibly of returning it but they said this was not possible as it was not faulty and I had used it (I had used the sample capsules that came with it). I would think that the 3 main selling points of this system are price, quality and convenience. I think this system performs poorly on running costs and convenience neither of which were highlighted by the sales staff to my parents when they bought it. This demonstrates poor sales practice by sales outlets and dubious value for money by the manufacturer.

Clunky descale procedure. machine fails after descale and according to repairer attracts german cockroaches – I purchased a Nespresso  Vertuo Plus Machine and also ordered capsules from a popup Nespresso shop at Westfields Kotara NSW shopping centre. called and said it could not be fixed due to cockroach damage.

I had no cockroaches. They promised they would send photos. Nothing  for 2 weeks , I made two more calls. No result.

Finally  after 4 weeks I tried to escalate the issue. they would not put me onto a manager. The same consultant called back and said they would send photos after they disposed of the machine. 

I said this was suspiscious and unacceptable. I believe if the machine has a red light they assume cockroach damage.

the descale procedure is very convoluted and clunky. you have to press buttons multiple times in exact sequence. Another complex sequence is required to exit the procedure.

I recommed you dont use their coffee and machines.

Don't buy, unreliable – 1 month after purchasing the unit it failed with red lights flashing but no coffee. Collected by TNT returned to repair center, 2 weeks later a new machine was delivered as a replacement. Advice: don't throw the packaging as it will be required for return repair. The Aerocc no3 is a hygiene risk it cant be put in dishwasher and opening too small for a normal sized male hand.

Wish I'd kept my old machine – The main issue with this machine is after 5 months of very gentle use, it is leaking everywhere. okay. But I preferred my old Nespresso machine. The Vertuo experience has turned into a major hassle as now I have no machine and no return date from Nespresso. Buy one with caution, do a search on its issues before purchase, leakage is a very common issue.

Machine is ok, coffee is average – I received this as a gift when I purchased lighting from interiors online. Nespresso says that the machine reads the code and is able to make a perfect cup of coffee. I have tried all the samples that came with the machine. The coffee is bitter and tastes very average. Does make a good iced coffee. Disappointed that I had to change from an inissia to this in the hope of getting a perfect cup of coffee every morning. Show details
