any happier with the outcome of our new build.

My only criticism is the management of the build was poor. It seemed in so many places valuable time was lost due to poor management of trades.

Instead of utilising the down time between different stages to rectify small issues and have everything to move forward. They were left to the very end when time was critical.

A good supervisor would make sure every stage is complete before moving to the next. And we saw the difference as soon as we had damo a new supervisor come on board. It was like finding a geni in a bottle.

Build quality i give New homes 8/10 Communication from our liaison 10/10 Support from sales rep throughout 10/10 Time frame to hand over 9/10 Value for money 10/10

Will we build again with New Homes Wa? Yes 100 percent we will how ever on our terms only.

found a solution that we we're all happy with and didn't also break the budget.

This was by no means a standard build and has taken a lot of planning and designing and we are super happy with the design and finishing's and price. Our pool went in about 3 months ago, slab went down around 2 months ago and internal walls are now up with brickwork about to start any day now. Have also been advised that the roof is scheduled just weeks after the bricks are finished. It is all moving along very quickly and smoothly and any small issues have been addressed immediately.

Can't thank the builders and Steve enough as I know many people are struggling with builders but certainly not the case here. Highly recommend this builder.

exactly how I wanted it. Also, I was lucky enough to get the government grants, at the time they were 55,000 altogether. There was a little bit of a delay in the build as it seemed a lot of people did the same thing as me when the grants were around and decided to start the process at the same time. I am still happy with how it all went and how New Homes dealt with everything for me. I had one issue with my bench tops but that was something to do with the supplier and they have now replaced them and looking brand new :) I have now moved in and already had my 6 months maintenance period and all the minor things have been fixed. There wasn't much to fix in saying that. Couldn't recommend New Homes enough!!

Building my home had its ups and downs. Here’s what I learned: 1. Initial Interaction: No meet-and-greet with the team initially, but Prime Projects now includes it in their process after raising this concern. 2. Workmanship Concerns: Some tradies’ work fell short, especially electrical work. Power points were uneven, and conduit placement was impractical. I did have to take matters into my own hands and contact the director to reach a solution, not the outcome I expected but better than what I have initial be given for my handover. 3. Unexpected Power point Placement: A power point in my vanity wasn’t on the plans – frustrating, but I’ll adapt. Not able to have repaired without paying for this out of my own pocket with removing tiles, mirror etc. 4. Flooring Regret: The hybrid flooring from Trevor Carpets had expansion joint issues with my 10m hallway, which I had to research and address via social media to then have someone from this company to contact me to investigate. Eventually, a smaller, flatter joint replaced the large, discolored one during handover. However, it still didn’t match my initial vision, and I regret choosing this flooring. It would have been helpful if the salesman had informed me about this issue based on my house plans 5. Garage Height Consideration: It’s essential to take garage height into account during variations. 6. Word Choice: Be cautious when using the phrase “in lieu of” during decision-making. Ensure that the wording aligns with your vision. 7. Shower Head Example: For instance, in the guest suite bathroom, you requested two shower heads: a rainshower positioned in the middle of the shower and a typical shower head with an extender. However, you received only the rainshower, even though the documentation mentioned “in lieu of.” Despite this, you still paid extra for the feature. Remember to communicate clearly with staff to avoid misunderstandings during the pre-start process. In summary, communication matters, and understanding details prevents regrets and be prepared to spend much more in variations.

I urge potential customers to carefully evaluate their expectations against the company's standards. A notable incident involved omitted sliding doors in bedrooms, with proposed solutions proving unsatisfactory. My hope is that this feedback prompts improvements within the company, ensuring future clients receive a higher level of service.

Regret our choice to build with New Homes WA – We had an awful process during the admin stage, the 2.5 year building stage and now continuing with our first 6 months in our home. Very helpful! – We are very excited for our house. April assisted us throughout the process, from the paperworks up till now that our house is being built. We did not have to pay a large amount for the upgrades that we did since a lot of the standard features that they offer on their packages are sufficient. very hands-on and answers all our queries with utmost honesty and transparency.
