service department in Sydney would not oblige to swap over the item at my house or even the store where I bought and paid for the item and insisted I should go all the way back to Direk. On top of that they now say I should have checked the item on collection but I was not allowed to enter the warehouse at the time. All in all very poor customer service indeed!

The constant reminder that additional costs can be incurred for the extra time the sofa was on storage felt unfair with the Christmas and New Year holidays being on the same day as the delivery day on our area. There was no flexibility offered at all as to when the item can be delivered and the lack of any comms on the new delivery date, after we completed the payment, was very frustrating to us.

known this from the start, I would have bought from another store. The delay was very inconvenient, especially since I had already sold my existing bed expecting the new one to arrive on time.
This lack of transparency around delivery times is extremely frustrating, and I would not recommend shopping here unless you’re prepared for unexpected delays.

Never will I buy another thing from Nick Scali. Their communication is terrible. Happy to take your money but when it comes to getting your item delivered, we have had to chase it up. So much for being quick delivery because it was in stock. Absolute rubbish, and as for paying $85 to get a chair delivered that could fit in our car, but they won't allow us. Won't happen again.

several occasions saying I will not pay till we have a delivery date..finally they give you a ficticious delivery date of 5th February 2026 so we go ahead with payment over the phone with a rude bank card charge of $14.00 and book accommodation for a get away that we haven't been able to get away as waiting waiting on this delivery..lo and behold we get another "message" the very next morning after paying in full the day before and booking our getaway that "due to unforseen circumstances " that were never explained, your delivery will now be 19th February not the 5th as stated and promised with payment. them the date i would be arriving back etc. and explained the situation, being that I would be out of the country. Another date was agreed on, I was still sent a confirmation text about the planned arrival date when I was out of the country, I couldn't reply and so then my planned delivery date was cancelled. I rang the 1300 number and wanted to keep the delivery date, they said no and planned for a delivery date over Xmas, which wasn't suitable, I offered to pick up the furniture myself from the factory and they said that wasn't allowed due to potential injury to myself, they said you only have three chances for delivery or they will cancel your items and take your payments made. I was so frustrated, the shop said they couldn't help as they were separate to the deliveries team, which i suspect was managed from overseas. I had explained my situation of having to attend a funeral etc and they still expected me to be able to answer a confirmation text message while i was overseas. Then when the goods where delivered, the delivery team told me to give them a 5 star rating. I will never buy another thing from Nick Scali again
