Bigger the brand, bigger the disappointment – We have ordered Vittorio lounge from the Auburn, NSW store. The sales representative was quite helpful in guiding us to make the right choice for one of the costliest pieces of furniture in our new house. We were supposed to get measurements within 3 days. that it will take 3-4 months for the sofa to be delivered.
However, because of the NSW lockdown, we could not get the measurements on the new property within the 3 days. Unfortunately, when we did get the measurements the lounge didn’t fit. We contacted the store on 15th July. However, I was informed that nothing can be done as it's too late. I tried contacting the store but didn’t receive any positive response. I am aware of the "3-day cooling-off period”, but the sofa will get delivered after 4 months. These are unprecedented times and we will highly appreciate it for a big brand like Nick Scali to show some kindness.
I know the lounge is custom-made. But, it’s one of the best-selling lounges and I am sure it will be ordered by someone else soon. It’s not like we want our money back. We still require a lounge and will order another model which fits our living space. We can’t afford the loss of 30% deposit as we went above and beyond to have the brand in our home. It was my dream to have Nicks Scali lounge. But, now the dream has just cost me immense pain and suffering.
I really don’t want to tell our future guests the sad covid story behind the misplaced living area because the Nicks Scali brand is not customer-friendly during these tough times. It would have been much better if I went with other furniture brands which have better policies and are more customer-friendly.

wanted to also buy 8 chairs to go with it, a buffet and a console. Knowing this Saba took my details and said she would ring me when it did come on special. I then left the store, I didn't expect her to contact me.
True to her word Saba rang me a few weeks later to let me know the Olympia range was now 50% off - I was so pleasantly surprised that she kept her word and let me know - that weekend I came into the store and purchased the dining table, buffet and console and 8 chairs - over $4,000 worth.
I was so appreciative of Saba contacting me to let me know.
I have since told a lot of my friends of this great service and also the great quality of Nick Scali furniture.
Service like this deserves to be recognised and I wanted to thank Saba for being true to her work and really displaying genuine customer service - thanks Saba - I will be back!
Perfection – We purchased our lounge suite about 2 years ago. We have been thrilled with our decision ever since. The overall appearance and comfort are still excellent. Their after sales service that we required today for the recliner ws also amazing. From the initial phone call to the moment James left our home was always of the highest level of professionalism and respect towards us. I cannot fault our experience with with Nick Scali at any point.
May 7th 2018 Update: Great Work James De Maudave
Nick Scali's representative James De Maudave came to our home with a 15 minute warning call with a very polite and professional phone call. His manners and professionalism remained for the duration of his time in our home. He was expeditious in his work. Pre service ie phone calls,texts etc were excellent as was his in home service. Very happy to have James return to our home should the need ever arise. Thank you James

Be aware that featherdown cushions will collapse and never return to their original shape – Salespeople should give more information about what they sell. I purchased a Koty Swivel Armchair in leather. The featherdown cushions continually collapse (a ‘feature’ of featherdown that requires ongoing maintenance) which is something you should have been made aware of when purchasing this item. Very disappointed – Bought my furnitures in December and was told they are all in stock. Just a few days before expected delivery scheduled in mid Feb I received a message that my items are not in stock recently and need to wait until APRIL! All what was offered is discounted delivery .. is $120 discount enough compensation? I have bought furnitures worth $6000 and need to wait for them 5 months.. was expecting much better service from such well known company Show details
Very Bad customer service. Arrogant sales people – Very bad customer service in both Auburn and Marsden park store. Always argue and focus on selling rather product information delievry. Nickscali charges high delivery fee. Very bad payment policy.They have weird policy is that credit card surcharge attract upon balance payment. this is ridiculous. money doesn't justify the quality and service. George was prompt and offered an opportunity for earlier servicing as he had a cancellation - this was appreciated. He diagnosed the problem solved the issue and went further to ensure the recliner lounge was all working properly. It wasn’t as the head cushions had been incorrectly installed and had parts missing. Sofa issue fixed ! – We had been struggling with an issue with our recliner sofa headrest since we purchased the sofa. Peter attended this morning and showed us how to properly adjust the head rest! Our Antigua lounge arrived today and it looks fantastic! It did take a while but it was on time and we were warned about the shipping delays particularly with the continuing knock-on effects from COVID.
Exemplary Customer Service – Sana was absolutely amazing from the moment we walked in. Based on our thoughts and photos of our house, she assisted us picking out a lounge to suit our home and she was so well mannered, considerate, had passion and pride in her work ethic.
