there has been some 'unforeseen circumstances'. Nobody checks if the new date is suitable with me. No option to respond or talk to someone.

needed it—just 6 months after purchase—they denied my claim without hesitation. So what exactly did I pay for? The warranty is nothing but a scam upsell, and the product quality is nowhere near what they advertise.

I feel completely cheated. This company is happy to take your money, but the second a problem comes up, they run from responsibility. I’ll never buy from them again, and I strongly warn others to stay away.

Below is email response from warranty. "Please be advised, the accidental damage warranty does not apply to peeling on the leather or gradual damage over time, including wear and tear caused by regular use or repeated and prolonged exposure of furniture to direct sunlight . These types of issues fall outside the scope of the accidental warranty coverage Will Nick Scali - Plush ADW Customer Service"

Do Not buy from nick Scali. This isn't the only bad review they have had. I was on the Plush website and I was on an online chat and I explain my situation asking for help ideas and suggestions and this person (can’t say names or this review will get discarded and she won’t get her punishment) says and I quote “This looks like a complicated issue”… Read more

she gave me a number, but it wasn’t any of the Plush number its was nick scali which is fine as they work together however I call the number and the same person picks up and I know it’s was the same person because she said her name so I say I have a complicated issue. I then go to start explaining myself because she ask how is it complicated and she cuts me of saying an and another I quote “how is that complicated” again in the rudest tone ever she was basically yelling at me after she was the one who said it was complicated. She then goes to say how I can’t do this and I can’t do that because you just can’t make this item a stationary item so I say ok and we both hang up because convention ended. I call Plush the people I thought I was originally calling and the nice lady picks (unfortunately I didn’t get her name) up and she said it was possible and everything worked and went well together. She also gave me cheaper options without me asking and sent me a quote and put it in my cart right then and there but she’s not forcing me to buy it she taking her time calm voice super chill and knows how to deal with people. She helping me purchase it in a weeks time when I am ready. Long story short don't go to nick scali there rude and inconsiderate. Go to Plush do waste your time at nick scali plus at Plush you can costumes your own couch/sofa there. Note for the person we all know who you are be nicer be a better person not rude shouting at me for just asking question about a couch for a small house which plans did and would of worked by the way. I don't know if you know this (girl) you can customise couches/sofas thats what I did and it worked so really I am smarter than you because my plans worked everything I said was correct. For the people if nick scali say you can’t do it double check with Plush actually go straight to Plush or anywhere else in fact. I am not happy and extremely upset with the performance this person put one. If she wants to act like a child tell her to do it some wear else not at us paying customers. And I just took it her behaviour I was soft voice and scared the whole time I don’t know why, I was right.

If I could pick up the rug. I was told that rugs are not on a list of approved products that are allowed to be picked up (like a side tables and mirrors). How is a rug more likely to get damaged then a mirror? Will not buy from them again. Bad business practices, using underhanded methods to make a sale.

(image attached). As we had recently seen the table in store and was quoted a delivery time of 3 weeks I figured it would be in a reasonable time. It was only when I closely read the sales order that I found at the bottom right hand corner our delivery date was 4/1/26. I contacted them the next day to cancel the order which cost me $45 in "processing fees". I know that this ticks all of the legal boxes for them but surely details like this should be made more obvious to the customer so that they can make a more informed decision.

Sales staff will harass you over the phone and through email to make the sale, however when it comes to receiving the goods, they are useless and out the blame on other staff. it clear that you’re responsible for loading and taking the rubbish etc. We were missing a piece of the couch, the sales staff blamed me, and were not helpful with trying to resolve the issue. DO NOT recommend purchasing from Nick Scali, sick of them harassing me over the phone and then providing poor customer service when it comes to fixing their issues. Expect to wait 2 to 3 months for your couch, and then even longer again because they will most likely stuff up the order and not have everything supplied.

Disappointingly, today when I phoned to order the additional components, I was informed by Nick Scali that they had changed the way the chairs were connected and new components will no longer fit the original chairs!!! it was with dispatch and hung up on me. I got a call last week to confirm the deliver, over the due date. And today I rang to confirm time and they tell me they sent and SMs which they didn't and I didn't confirm and pay balance so they cancelled delivery, can't tell me when... I have been treated so badly, will never step foot inside a Nick Scali store again. Why is it that customers are expected to try and manage customer communications. You can track a candle from the other side of the world, yet, they can' t track their furniture.

condition anyway. The other two had marks all over them, and this issue has been dragging on since March. Throughout the process, the staff have been rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. They promise callbacks that never happen and have refused to offer a refund on the third damaged table, despite the repeated failures to deliver a product in acceptable condition. This has been the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. I would strongly advise against buying from Nick Scali. The quality is poor, the service is worse, and the stress simply isn’t worth it.

support have honestly been useless and incompetent. Honestly I do not know where to start. I think incompetent is being kind. They are more interested in their policies than they are at listening and solving the problem. They have made error after error. Then they had the audacity to blame their faults on it was just a miscommunication. Their lack of listening they have dubbed as miscommunication. Ie a subtle way of saying it was your fault we didn't understand what you were saying.

Will I get my bed legs supposts? Eventually, at my expense and in my own effort.

So is the furniture nice, yes. Just hope you never have to deal with "customer service" because they will absolutely make it impossible for you to get what you need.

Nick Scali Support your policies are useless if they do not provide service. Start listening to your customers!

she was part of the online sales team. That’s flat-out misleading. I assumed I was speaking to someone who was physically at the store and could show me exactly what I was buying.

2. The lounge I tried in-store had visible recliner buttons, but the one delivered had hidden buttons inside the armrest. When placing the order over the phone, Felicity never mentioned this difference. No brochure, no comparison, no clarification — nothing. As a customer, how was I supposed to know? She made zero effort to inform me, and instead pushed the more expensive model for what I can only assume was a higher commission. Totally unethical.

3. I also requested clear photos of the battery cabling before purchase due to puppy safety concerns at home. The photo I received was completely unhelpful, only showing the lounge while charging — not the rear cabling. For a product that cost nearly $4,000, this kind of basic information should have been easy to provide. Even Kmart shows more images for a $3 item.

4. Debit card surcharge — seriously? Not even a credit card, just a regular bank card — and on top of that, they don’t accept cash or phone payments in-store. Add in inflated delivery fees and it’s clear: they’ll charge you at every opportunity.

I raised all of this with Felicity, her manager, and even the feedback team. No one took responsibility. No one offered a solution. It was all blame-shifting and denial with zero customer care.

I’m now taking this to the ACCC, because this company has no interest in resolving complaints. What appears to be a premium retailer is just a polished rip-off.
