Selling unsuitable care products
Purchased a marble top table from Nick Scali and was told to care for the tabletop by applying a $50 cleaning product CoverCare Concrete, Marble, Granite Protection Shield. I found out later that this product is actually a sealer and will not absorbed into the already resin-coated, waterproofed marble table. It simply evaporates and leave behind a cloudy stain. Rang Nick Scali and requested a refund for a product that is not suitable for my table and they refused a refund. Ridiculously, they told me to buy another product to clean the sealer off.
5 star service.
We bought a customised lounge from Brad, the Manager at Aspley last week. It has not been delivered yet, but so far the experience has been very good. I highly recommend talking to Brad, we found him to be very helpful and pleasant to deal with.
Great customer service and good quality modern furniture
Marina helped us to look at lounges, she was great, not pushy, just genuinely helpful and very knowledgeable. We loved everything in the shop and making a decision was difficult, marina helped to simplify things based on our needs and budget. We did stop at several other furniture shops that day and ended up purchasing from nick scali because of the quality and service.
The only negative is the 12 week wait for our lounge.
My wife and I were looking for new lounge sofas and along with several other stores we also went to Nick Scali at Aspley, Qld. We were served by Brad who is the manager and I have to say he was simply excellent and one of the best sales people I have ever dealt with.
Not overtly pushy but very helpful and accommodating as he steered us through the decision making for our purchase and we gradually refined our decision and signed our order.
Although we are yet to have the sofas delivered as they are now being manufactured I would not hesitate to recommend the Aspley store and Brad in particular if you are in the market for new furniture.

Store service wonderful. Delivery wait time blowout very disappointing.
I was assisted extremely well in my purchasing by a professional knowledgeable assistant named Sam. He did mention that there could be delays in deliveries. However I am very disappointed that my delivery will be at least three months later than the date I was given. For this reason I can't comment on the quality of the products yet.
Perfect item found online but in store service was of a very high standard
Store very easy to navigate and staff were only too willing to assist and provide me with all the answers I needed. The after sales service has also been of a very high standard.

Professional and attentive staff
Jason at the Aspley Nick Scali store was happy to answer some basic questions on our first visit, Jason was also very professional and didn't push any sales tactics beyond being helpful and attentive.
We went to 4-5 more stores but couldn't find a sofa on the quality level as the one we purchased, upon our return Jason was there once again and was helpful and explained different fabric types.
Great products and great staff
Jason was great to deal with. He took the time to make sure we were comfortable with the floor stock item on offer and make sure there was no damage.

Patient and considerate
My daughter and I popped into the store to look for a dining table and chairs. Jason was very helpful and listened and heard to our requirements and was not pushy. As I have a clear idea, I often get frustrated but not this time. Jason even searched all other stores in Brisbane to find the last chair!

The selection of furniture at the showroom was quite overwelming but Nicole our sales person showed us several to our liking. She gave us time to meander and discuss our options. We were very happy with our selection. The lumbar support in the furniture and comfort was a highlight of our decision to choose the Miranda. We are not assembling our furniture but having it put together by the delivery drivers.
Bad workmanship, poor quality materials that do not last
We purchased a Nick Scali leather lounge based on the model we tried on the floor which was good. When it arrived the cushions sewn along the back were crooked which was clearly bad workmanship. We have had our lounge for a while now but it only took a couple of years before the foam wears out and flattens with regular use, which shows inferior quality materials being used and this is not covered by their warranty conveniently. We still have cushions from another lounge we bought 15 years ago from Harvey. Norman which are still like new pieces and that lounge was a lot cheaper than Nick Scali’s. We won’t be buying any future products form Nick Scali, would rather pay for a quality product!
Leather sofa poor quality, customer service worse
We purchased a leather sofa that we love, and an extended warranty in case of bother.
2 holes appeared and we reported this. Despite a number of calls and visits over a number of years, this was never fixed satisfactorily.
The leather also ‘cracked’ and this was blamed on poor maintenance.
They offered us a $400 discount on another sofa which to me admits fault.
I will never purchase from them again and suggest no-one else does until their customer service and leather suppliers improve
