special occasions like the Boxing Day sale. Their pricing is very misleading and will make you repent shopping on ‘that’ day. Even with a paid membership charge, the price is misleading because it drops substantially during the next sale. This price drop occurred while my leather sofa hasn't even been manufactured yet, let alone shipped to Australia or delivered. To refuse a price adjustment when the item doesn't even exist yet shows that the concept of their membership is vague and customer loyalty is not valued.
They have lost a repeat customer now. Save your money and wait for a sale, or shop somewhere with genuine pricing and better service

balance, I just asked to remove warranty that they were charging $399 to be removed and then the staff said that removing warranty will make us wait till 09/09 for delivery, these guys are just bunch of greedy owners and people who wants to make money out of everything, even taking the rubbish away, wished I had got it from any other store, the only reason I went to Nick scali thinking they would be the best in business, but no where near other leading brands, wish I had read reviews before buying from these guys. team who left the cable ties, plastic etc exactly where they dropped it. I knew that rubbish would not be removed but leaving piles of debris throughout the house was unacceptable. We even have a pile of approx 20 bolts found in the boxes left that I am guessing should be installed somewhere in our recliner. We were sorely disappointed at every step of our first and most definitely last Nick Scalia purchase. Life is too short for the enormous hassle of this purchase.

After visiting a couple of other stores in the area we walked back to see Phil at Nick Scali, had a second sit down, and ended up placing an order and we look forward to the delivery of our new piece of furniture.
While we found the furniture at Nick Scali to be of quite high quality, this review is more so for Phil himself. Phil was very helpful. His honest approach was very refreshing. I felt that he wasn't trying to pull anything over on me. There were no tricks, no tactics, just good old fashioned service with a smile and I cannot recommend him enough.

know when we would settle. She advised us that as long as we communicated with the store we could delay delivery. The lounge was ready for delivery by 20 June but our house was not complete. The original staff member that we had dealt with had changed stores and the other staff members at the Aspley store we spoke to advised what we had been told was incorrect and if we didn’t accept delivery they would cancel our order. After many harassing text messages and calls both from the head office and the Aspley store we were finally able to arrange for delivery on 30 July when we had settled on our new home. As a positive note, the delivery team were polite and efficient.

woeful (The fact we are encouraged to pay the delivery team cash is also a bit bewildering) and all the packaging and crates were left on the street. I also explored the pick-up process but that was even more atrocious with no weekend availability and no option for after 3pm.

One product was taken back to warehouse and lost in their system for weeks.
Whilst problems can occur in any business, it is the companies ability to respond to these problems at minimum distruption, inconvenience and or cost to the customer that counts and this is where Nick Scalie fails and fails miserably. When our couch was delivered damaged, we had to follow up with them rather than the other way around. When you call this company, you end up in an off-shore office where they will not put you through to anyone. Be ready to spend hours trying to get your problem heard and a bunch more hours trying to get it fixed. Unfortunately the world of Nick Scali is on their terms and their timeframes as noone excepts responsibility.
Save yourself a lot of frustration and give these guys are miss. You could be lucky and everything goes to plan, but if it doesn't then good luck.

was all in the wrong places. Plus, too soft. Lumbar support does not exist with this furniture. Nick Scali staff were initially very friendly, but not helpful. In the end they refused to offer us a return or swap, even considering that the furniture looked and felt brand-new as we purposefully did not use it after we found out that we couldn't;t sit on it properly. We also indicated that we didn't expect the full amount paid returned to us, but to no avail. Lots of talk, no action. In the end we had to sell privately at a substantial loss. I would never buy at Nick Scali or any other place again that do not allow change-of-mind returns as other furniture houses do. From sitting in a showroom it is impossible to guess how comfy you will feel after using it for a 3 hour movie! On a side note, it also took weeks for a service guy to show up and fix a small problem wit the uneven legs, some of them not touching the ground. Note: our dissatisfaction is not so much about the product quality as such (with the exception that for that money I would expect a better quality foam and in the right places, too), but the inflexibility of N.S. staff to offer us a solution and to keep us as happy customers. I think now they just didn't care after we had paid.

compensate. This could not use this on existing purchases. We then requested to use this on a dining table. At the time of requesting to use this voucher on a dining table, it was reduced in price for Black November Sales and we had a screenshot attached to the email. The store did not respond for over 24 hours and then, when eventually replying, stated that the table was not longer reduced and that we would have to pay full price. We then received our entertainment unit to which it has loose screws in all the roller hinges causing the draws to scrape and not open/close. The unit has large chips out of it and was dirty with dust and cob webs. I would not recommend this company or, particularly, the Aspley store to anyone!
