Disgusted service by Head Office Warranties – DO NOT purchase the extra warranty on lounges as it means absolutely nothing… keep dodging the problem and reckon it’s my fault… WILL NOT fix the split and cracks … Maroochydore fantastic but Sydney head office Warranties absolutely disgusting even though the guy who checked it for them was appalled at the condition …

directly. That statement/ promise lasted until cooling period was null and void and payment was made. Was told 12-14 weeks and it’s taken 20 weeks.. was told quality made lounge but forgot to mention lounge is made in Vietnam. There’s no way in hell I would have bought the lounge if told that at time of quoting. Nothing against Asia but I really wanted a well made lounge and product from Australia. (Buy local keeps the local economy going) Now been told delivery only happens once a week plus was quoted $130 and now getting charged $140 for no reason. Don’t care about $10 but it’s the principle of it. Told them I want to pick it up myself from the store and now being told that I can’t!! Not allowing pick ups?!?!? Lounge paid in full, waited 6 extra weeks and I can’t have it? Keep your damn lounge and refund me then!!! Stick it where the sun doesn’t shine for all I care! SHOULD HAVE GONE TO THE PROFESSIONALS like HARVEY NORMAN or DOMAYNE. This review really needs to allow us to give a minus. 1 star is way too many for them. -10 would be more appropriate

Maroochydore store with photos, and received no response. I then range customer service and they requested photos. They also told me the lounge is 6 months out of warranty even though I paid for the extended warranty it doesn’t actually cover product failure. I find it extremely unsatisfactory to have a lounge that is only 2 1/2 years old to fail in its product especially at the cost of the product. Had I had a cigarette burn or ink or tear in the fabric apparently the extended warranty would cover that I was told. How can this be ok with customer service when the actually product is no good? I asked them they said they could create a job request but I would have to pay for the repair. I did tell them I was not angry or mad at them just extremely disappointed in the product and the lack of warranty on failure of the product. I explained I would be writing a review and they pretty much said have a good day. Do not expect this to happen to a $5000 lounge after 2 years. Do not recommend Nick Scali lounges at all and be ware if the push you to pay for an extended warranty that is very specific to not actually covering the product being cr^p after 2 years. EXTREMELY disappointed never to return customer.

apartment. Due to Nick Scali producing overseas, I had an empty new lounge room for months as I moved in and thought I’d only be waiting a few weeks. I signed off 10-12 weeks and was told that at the 6 week update “customers have been getting good news” about delivery dates. Well, I wasn’t told good news then. I was told it was a week late. Then, when that deadline passed, I was told it may be another MONTH! Turned out it was 17 weeks to the day.

I have been looking on their website and saw the Global and Domestic Shipping Delays which have been issuing letters since 2023. Yet, they still haven’t adequately resolved how they produce; nor do they manage expectations. Ie if I knew they were going to be this long I would have ordered elsewhere.

I asked when I placed the order to be communicated with via email only due to disability. Yet I received about five phone calls along the way from local team who can’t read a basic note in their system.

Sadly I will never shop there again and am actively advising people against shopping there too. While I love the product, I expect a lot more from the service.

Rip Off – Don’t buy a Brighton Lounge… fake leather but they keep telling me it’s “treated” leather… 1st split guy fixed and no more trouble… next split few months ago glued diff split then used an electric spinning brush to scrub and clean now it’s dry and more cracks and split has come apart… Lounge Repair wont come back n fix and Nick Scali won’t honour the extra warranty we took out… had another REAL leather lounge for over 25 yrs… should of kept it… Show details

we visited to store event after we had ordered, he showed great patience. Many thanks to great staff at Maroochydore. Sunshine Coast. So far the items deliverd are fantastic. Our salesman also assisted when the TV unit was found to have the legs missing, the delivery staff were uncertain when we get them. Our salesman ensured that we would get them the next day.

Service could be improved – When purchasing furniture and rugs we were told that the items in stock would be delivered in six weeks, the made-to-order chaise in 3 months. sooner. We received a sheet giving care and cleaning instructions for the rugs but not the furniture. This is not good enough. The delivery men were efficient and careful but took too many photographs, from various angles, in our lounge without asking permission. I am not sure why they even needed to do this as we signed the delivery invoice.

lounge has not even been made yet. Nick Scali should treat their customers with respect and honour any price reductions, at least up to delivery. You have to wait 11-13 weeks for delivery. At least be a little accommodating on price. Not a nice feeling to pay over $200 too much.

Terrible experience – It is taking over 5 weeks to get my order cancelled and partly refunded. First of all they went around to avoid the cancellation, then they passed to one another saying the refund would be done only after the delivery of one of the products that has not been cancelled. there’s a new excuse: boat delays due to bad weather, strikes at ports, or the warehouse mysteriously relocating. With many broken promises, the store manager, repeatedly promised to contact me but never followed through. Attempts to escalate the issue in February were met with a brick wall—impossible to speak to anyone who could address our concerns. With a total lack of transparency as to where our order was, finally, in April, I managed to reach the state manager. Sadly, it was more of the same. The company lacks transparency, and the excuses kept piling up. In addition, there is no direct phone number to contact the store or the state manager, you have to go through a lengthy process to a dispatch number who is unable to provide information or customer service. To add insult to injury, the reimbursement offered was laughably poor and extremely inadequate. A mere $100 cleaning kit and an extended warranty—hardly compensation for months of frustration and inconvenience. We paid a 35% deposit back in November which left us out of pocket and our hands tied with this situation. Being consistently told our order was only a couple of weeks away, we never had the opportunity to cancel our order and proceed with another company. Nick Scali, this level of service is not good enough. Customers deserve better. If you’re considering purchasing from them, proceed with caution

DEAD ANIMAL IN THE FURNITURE! NICK SCARLI YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED! – Well where to start! new lounge. At 5.30pm I made a phone call and was excited to hear when my new lounge would arrive, the delivery boys stated they were running late and that would a 9pm arrival be ok. I understand these poor guys must have had a very big day, they arrived at 8.20 pm. Upon opening the cartons, we were hit by an overwhelming pungent smell. I said immediately to the delivery drivers that the lounge STUNK! (I should have said in hindsight "please take this lounge back to where it came" and refused delivery). Overnight this pungent smell spread throughout the entire house, I felt nausea and headaches. I tried ringing Nick Scarli but who do you speak to? I rang a 1300 phone number which ended up in the Philippines where none of the consultants really gave a rats and I got shuffled around from one department to another, getting promises of return phone calls over the ongoing days, but the promised phone calls never happened.

THIS LOUNGE SMELT LIKE THERE WAS AN AMIMAL HAD BEEN TRAPPED INSIDE AND DIED. THE SMELL WAS HORRENDOUS AND THEN CAME THE FLIES.

So I kept up with the phone calls, it felt like no one cared that I felt so ill with the smell and the headaches that kept on coming. I rang the showroom where I had purchased this lounge, emails were sent hopefully to someone that cared enough to respond to my repeated requests to get the lounge out of our home. It was absolutely a health hazard. I was waiting for maggots to fall from the lounge, as there were so many flies. As we were in the midst of doing renovations, our garage was already filled with other items, so I couldn't put this lounge outside as there would be an excuse for Nick Scarli to not give us a refund as it had been put out in the weather. WHAT TO DO! Many phone calls on a daily basis, no-one taking into consideration just how urgent it was to get the lounge out of our home. Finally, after many many phone calls they sent out an assessor two weeks after the delivery. Immediately the assessor stepped foot in our front door he acknowledged the stench! Yes the lounge needed to be taken away! It wasn't until one week later that Nick Scarli organized a pick up of this lounge. Then were the phone calls by me to see when we would be given a full refund! I was told that our case was not escalated until a couple of days before the collection date.

In saying all of this I have never been offered an apology or compensation for our ongoing suffering for the three weeks of having the stench, the flies, the nausea and ongoing headaches, let alone the ongoing struggle, phone calls, anxiety and stress that we had been put through in this whole ordeal. We waited 4 months for this lounge to arrive, now we will be waiting another 4 months after ordering a new lounge from another source, so 8 months in total for a new lounge, not a bad wait time. In the weeks leading up to our delivery of the Nick Scarli lounge we sold our old one in order to make space for the new one, so as of right now, we have cold tiles to sit on.

SHAME ON YOU NICK SCARLI! I have and will be spreading the word to whoever wants to listen to our appalling treatment and after-sale customer care. YOU REALLY DON'T GIVE A RATS ONCE YOU TAKE OUR MONEY!
