We were promised someone would get back to us and they didn’t, till me husband went into the store and said how disappointing this was… Finally the store manager called on her day off to apologise.. Whoever you train in the call centre needs more empathy and professionalism… Not sure if I would buy from them again after such a disappointing experience.

Appalling after sales service, ridiculous delivery time – Furniture is good so far. Customer service after purchase is horrendous. Wish I would have read these reviews as I never would have purchased. Spent about $13,000 with Nick Scali. Quoted 10-12 weeks for delivery although was told in the showroom "it may even come sooner". I always had to follow up. Was lied to about the reason for hold up. Delivery day finally arrives. Delivery guys took 2.5 hours to deliver and assemble what should have been a 45 min job, max. Broke my chandelier (accident) and gouged out a wall (also accident), even after I specifically told them to take care near the freshly painted walls. Dirty hands on a light coloured couch made multiple marks. I had to tell them to wash their hands before bringing more pieces in! Overall a disappointing and frustrating experience, especially for the price we paid. Absolutely won't be recommending and definitely won't be using again.

size but the Maybel was bang on in dimensions, and universal. The length and width, plus the depth of the cushion and the height of the back is perfect for us. The canna fabric is awesome, well protected with lounge care kit, even the delivery team were great. Thanks Nick Scali O’Connor

chasing up central office, and multiple excuses on their part - they delivered a second one. we refused delivery as it was marginally better than the one in our possession but still not up to the standard of the showroom piece. At this point, we suggested that they swap the inferior product we had with the one on their showroom floor. They refused. We then asked them to check the next one they brought out before delivering it to make sure it was of the same quality. several weeks later, after chasing them up again (head office), they informed us that none of the ones in stock were of the same quality. They still refused to swap it for the showroom one. when informed I was prepared to go to Consumer Affairs, they agreed to refund our money plus delivery charges - which they did (and picked up the crap one they tried to palm off on us). The store employees were dismayed but hamstrung by their head office.

I find it bizarre that a company which spends so much money on promoting itself as a purveyor of quality goods is prepared to break consumer laws by selling products which are so inferior to the product on display. Clearly, they rely on the average customer accepting rubbish when too many obstacles are placed in their way.

we wont be buying anything from them again and have advised all our friends not to as well.

Shame on you Nick Scalli.

How has this company evaded scrutiny by consumer affairs? – I can't fathom why Nick Scali has not been featured yet on A Current Affair or hit the press for consumer ethics violations. November 2021 from Nick Scali O'Connor (WA) for a mirror I purchased and paid in full on the day ($690), only to be called some weeks later and told that although the warehouse had one in stock in WA, it could not be delivered and therefore my order could not be completed. The only option I was offered was to wait for another one to arrive on a shipment in May 2022. I declined and insisted on a full refund. Louis, the store manager, said that was fair enough and agreed that 6 months was too long to wait for something I had been promised in December 2021. That was confirmed via email with paperwork in November 2021 from Louis. It's now 27 January - still no refund. I've called O'Connor - it goes to the Nick Scali central number. I drove to the store in person last week - got given a business card of the store manager and told to call him directly - the tel number on the card goes to the Nick Scali central number. So I spoke to the lady at the central number today, who referred me back to the O'Connor accounts dept and transferred me to that dept, only to get a voicemail saying 'no one can answer your call right now, leave a message'. This is a joke, right?

This is the latest in a long list of 'issues' I've had with Nick Scali over October, November and December 2021 in WA, including promises items were in stock at the WA warehouse only to be told they got sold to someone else who wanted it quicker than me and now I'd have to wait for another shipment - or worse, they would try to get my items taken off another customer who wanted it delivered later than me and make them wait (!!!), a drunken sales assistant at the Midland store (at 10am in the morning!), missing items in deliveries, promises of call backs that don't come, etc etc etc.

I strongly advise anyone buying from Nick Scali to reconsider. The sales people wipe their hands off you once the deposit is paid and the sales transaction is done; if you call them with a question or issue, they refer you to the warehouse, the service centre, accounts, or the hotline claiming "I don't deal with questions or issues, all I do is sell the stuff". It's an operation where the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. It's that bad. Yet you, the customer, who has likely paid thousands upon thousands (as I have done) is stuck in the middle just trying to get some decent customer service.

AVOID THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE NOT WORTH YOUR TIME OR EFFORT.

but him. He befriends you, his nice but not salesman nice because his also honest and speaks the truth then justifies it. Example would be with colours when I showEd him the colour of our wall he said oh no you need to look at this colour because if you go this colour it with open your room, your room too small for the colour we were thinking & he was right. I miss honest people when dealing with sales people hence I went with Steve instead of returning to the Cockburn store. did find the perfect fit. The choice of colors made it easy to select and the whole experience was fun instead of stress and pressure. We can't wait to get our sofa into our home. We called back the store the next day to check on the measurement as we wanted to make sure we gave the right dimensions and Saheel took the call and reassured us on all the 'extra' queries we had concerning our purchase. As Chris, Saheel was very professional and friendly and taking us through all points of our order. It has been a pleasure dealing with Nick Scali O'Connor, we will return when needing other furniture and will recommend it without any hesitation.

Great Experience – Had two sofas where the bases were broken upon unboxing. Craig was booked in for 9am, attended by 8.50am with an update on his time of arrival. Still waiting – After nearly five months waiting for a sofa, 21/08/21 ordered 13/01/22 delivered, with no communication from the store I tried mediation to resolve the issue but achieved nothing but excuses. I understand supply issues, I understand the current climate. What baffles me is the complete indifference the store demonstrated. A very poor customer relations exercise. was a large part of why I choose Nick Scali.

What followed was constant delays, so it ended up being over 6 months before I received it. During this time, there was no communication, no apologies, no replies to my emails.

I understand things get delayed, but then I expect a company to be honest about it and let me know. Instead, there were frequent small delays, and each time it was due for delivery, it'd be delayed by another couple of weeks. So my living room sat empty for 6 months.

When it was finally scheduled for delivery, still no reply to my email asking for an explanation, no apologies, no trying to to make it right. Poor service.

Not what was promised and bad service – We were delivered a tv cabinet that was not the same colour as the store stock or the website pictures. We wanted a grey concrete top to match our grey couch and received a brown one. We are still trying to get a refund or the correct colour but so far seem to be getting fobbed off saying it's just a colour variation we have to accept.
