I am becoming hard of hearing especially when sound quality is not great. I do wear hearing aids but at times I would like to listen to radio with ear buds (so aids would be removed). 1. Is the sound level adjustable or fixed? 2.Does the phone have ear buds? I am not so concerned with the camera function as I use a camera frequently. Current phone is a flip with sound boost option.

Yes, there is the standard Android volume adjustment for calls and speaker phone mode. The Nokia 7 does only have 1 external speaker though, meaning that only mono sound is available for speaker phone / video watching without headphones. I find the volume satisfactory, about the same as my previous iPhone SE, although not quite as loud as some previous Nokia's (e.g. Lumia 920).
