it. The 2nd guy came in a couple of hours, spent under 10 mins to take out and replace the thermostat and left. I had him leave the part with me and checked later with suppliers - its a less than $40 part. I complained to the office and got a standard reply that this is what it costs to cover there services. I asked to be provided with an itemized invoice but got nothing and they had the hide to send me an email asking for review. I wanted to leave a review then but got side tracked back then and today when I was looking online for some plumbing work these guys turned up at the top of the search probably because they are paying a lot to have them at the top of the search and dupe more innocent people. . I did read the reviews by other customers after my experience and can only concur 200% - they are just looking to turn up, quote some absurd pricing and rip you off. Avoid like a plague

Very expensive to the point of being unethical – I had Omega do some investigatory work on my drains. The cost of the work was excessive ($4k) and the solution they quoted was over complicated and expensive ($7k). I inquired why not a simpler solution and they claimed it would be more expensive. the cost of what Omega was trying to sell me. They also advised that the charging for the work that had been done by Omega was exceedingly expensive. I ceased the work order with Omega and asked for a refund of a portion of the progress payments I had made for the investigatory work, but they refused.

From my experience Omega do not provide true value for money and undermine the reputation of the Plumbing profession.

Expensive but high quality outcome – The service team was incredibly polite and really cared about what they were doing. The job was very well done. Bailey was a pleasure to have on the job. The cost was very high though, so be prepared!

Taken advantage of!! – I was charged $757 plus GST to have a minimal number of leaves removed from my gutters. I have a very small single level home on a flat block where this job took one person no more than 30 minutes to complete. I realised I had been overcharged for the service performed and raised a complaint with Omega. I emailed twice and never heard back from one of the managers. I am appalled by this lack of service or customer care. I will never use Omega again and will tell everyone I know to not use them.

sent it to my email and guess what happened, on their website it actually says lifetime warranty on their workmanship so they were acctually fooling me. So be extremely carefull guys with this company, they can overcharge you with very expensive quote and with very dodgy warranty!!!

tap which was replaced with an Arco ($98 on eBay), a kitchen mixer (which I provided) and a 3/4 tap for the garden ($15 @ Bunnings). This meant that the 1.5 hour job cost me $695 equating to around $325 per hour (excluding consumables). I really want to warn anyone else that even though the bloke was friendly, I can't say it's worth quadruple the price of a normal plumber. I would have been happy if they charged a 15% premium over others but needless to say, this will be the last time I will be using this service.

New rheem hot water system – The service was prompt, courteous and professional. The new system was delivered and installed the following day and we are very happy with the result as regards on site work and office contact, emails and phone advice. $242.00, we felt that installation cost of over $2000.00 for a water heater is too high. Omega's after sales service is also appalling. We sent emails on 30 June & 8 July 2020 to complain about the high cost of installation & non observance of workers health & safety standards (picture provided) while removing 2 solar panels from the roof for a separate payment of $1980.00 but no reply has been received so far despite several follow-up email thru [name removed]. The silence of management about our complaints made us feel ignored after pouring our savings to their services.

We are both seniors who were overwhelmed by a leaking water heater during this covid pandemic; not an excuse not to do research to ensure that the price quoted for supply & installation is reasonable. It was too late when we did research on Omega Services but it was a lesson learned.

Quality service, bargain prices and great manners – Had a qoute for parts and services. Helpful advice on air-conditioning and other goods. Friendly, flexible, honest and delivers quality parts and services. They will work around your schedule to get things done without cutting corners. I would recommend their services. Show reply

Expensive, terrible and unprofessional Service – I called them about my drain blocked and the guy said We will fix in$198 but send guy who doesn’t know anything and didn’t even try to fix and said it cost $600 and not friendly guy. So I got so unhappy.

provided 5 different quotes ranging from adding extra ventilation to a "Outdoor Gas Heater" to replacing the entire Gas Water Heater.

I ask him to look at at Rain water switch as well, and the quote is $1500 to replace the pump. After some Google search, the switch/pump itself is about $400 to $500 on the market.

Call this company if you want to replace everything you ask them to service at a outrageous price!
