Hi Helen, from memory to switch between T9 and simple letters you would hold down the hash key or star key. Do this whilst typing an sms for example. I highly recommend installing the Traditional T9 app and set it as default (from Fdroid) for a way better T9 experience. The default keyboard on this phone is aweful.

Ring time or ring count is network carrier dependant. Have done this myself - internet search your carrier and extending the ring time. For example aldimobile 25 seconds would be from the phone dialer - **61*+61141**25#
Hi there. I used the phone's function to hide WhatsApp and other features of my mum's phone. Do you know how I 'unhide' them? I can't change the ringtone now.
Not sure what you mean. Maybe explain how you "hid" them first. I know there is an APPS tile you can select that shows apps you can add or remove from the menu. Tried that?

Ok all fixed I went to Optus Phone where they found my fault I was using the wrong key.

Well, sort of. Would I leave it there to charge and maybe 30min-2hr later walk past and lift it off when it's green - yes. Would I leave it charging in the cradle overnight? No way. Don't leave any Lithium based battery on charge overnight unattended, deliberately.
Why does the green light on the message icon continue to stay on?
Open your messages one by one and scroll through them.. If this doesn't work just delete all messages

Does the Opel Easy Flip 32g phone have audible number dialling.? My husband is visually impaired and needs a simple phone that speaks numbers to him as he dials. Cheers, Lindy
Hi Lindy, short answer is no. Not even tones when pressing the number pad. The version of Android is neutered to the point that even input settings are gone. I had a look for you in some general searching and you may have more luck with Google Talkback on an Android smartphone. In fact the iPhone has a Spoken Content option where the number can be entered in the dialer, then select "Speak" and it reads it back to you/him out loud. Try it out in a phone store first. Apart from that see out specific manufacturers/suppliers that offer options for hearing impaired. We used a few Oricom branded products for my late father. Good luck!

Hello , my friend has the opel 6 flip phone , when I open the flip and press ok , I get the speed dial instead of the menu . I have removed the sim card and battery and I still get the same result . I cannot get any other choice on menu . I would like to reset the phone ..help !

My phone isnt sending or receiving text it just puts a red triangle and makes a bell sound. Last time it was I had the aeroplane on accidently how do I revert to normal

I have a problem with the ringtone cutting out after a short number of rings - only 2 or 3 times. The incoming call registers in 'missed calls' but the ability to answer is impossible. Even when a caller rings back the same thing happens? Interested to know if anyone has experienced the same problem and if they had a solution. Thank you
I would go to the opel website external link . Also contact your phone service provider to see if they can assist with extending the amount of times your phone rings
Hello Chelsea, Thank you for your reply. I have contacted Vodafone and they are looking into this problem for us. Hopefully it can be resolved as this phone has all the features I like.
To extend the ring time on a Vodaphone service dial: **61*121*11*30# and your phone will ring for 30 seconds before cutting off.
New Opel SmartFlip can make outgoing calls but cannot receive incoming calls
