CLEANERS DID NOT SHOW UP
Cleaners did not show up despite communications the day before to confirm time. Unable to contact optima by call/email/text despite multiple attempts. Had to find another end of lease cleaner.
Job Well Done!
They did a great job cleaning my Weber bbq. It looks very clean compared to when they first started. The team arrived on time and were very efficient. Thank you so much for your service! Highly recommend!

Had a end of lease cleaning and the house looks clean as it was new and got my full bond back,deatil in cleaning and no any place to complain,easy to work with and not so expensive as well would recommend everyone to try them.

Terrible
Steer clear of Optima. They are a [Content Removed] incompetent business who hire [Content Removed] here in Australia who grudgingly clean your property. On giving instructions and getting a "yes, yes' response - the instructions are ignored. Optima were given an entirely empty residence to clean which was based around a strong vacuum followed by mopping and wiping down surfaces and within cupboards. On inspecting their work I caught one cleaner literally mopping over dirty smearing it around. On complaining the cleaner who could not unders...
Read moretand sought help from her colleague who said 'yes, yes' although no real change occurred. In place of vacuuming, a poor sweep was done leaving dog hair and debris. Only two cleaners turned up meaning they were exhausted and overwhelmed. Note: a separate service was called to clean all glass/windows meaning Optima did not have to do that. Even with that, they were incapable. As tenants were about to move into the residence, I was forced to clean kitchen benchtops which were forgotten: they were covered with black grit and dust and were obviously missed. Using a cleaning spray and sponge I cleaned them which took less than 8 minutes and came up good. The cleaners were asked to come back to vacuum and remove the remaining dog hair and debris. After a second go - still plenty of mess remained. The customer service is all via a call centre in the Philippines who call again and again asking the same questions and still, the issue is not resolved. I was charged an extra $100 to sweep an extra balcony which was also done poorly. I have asked for a partial refund (the extra $100 I was charged extra) as I am in shock I was charged extra for such a terrible job. Photos enclosed are after 2 tries cleaning and after pointing out the issue. I asked for clarification on what was done for the second visit by the cleaners where it appears a sweep and not a vacuum was done - just as there was plenty of dog hair, among other debris present. Use a local service: these guys appear to rip off migrant workers who a sub contracted to carry out the work. They are not cleaners but unfortunately taking the work they can get. I have empathy for the issue although I paid for a professional services which was not provided. Steer clear - use a local service who are based in Australia and take responsibility and care for their work.1 comment

Having my oven cleaned was fantastic.
My oven is like new again, I recomend every one to have it done , I could not have done such a great job. It is somthing that sould be done once a year.

Not very happy with the BBQ cleaning. Rates were discounted but eventually the quality too. lesson learned. When I pointed out areas to be cleaned they did clean but argued that rates had been discounted, so expect a discounted job

You requested discounting the price even more (although it was heavily discounted in first place). And we spent more than 3 hours hard scrubbing... In the beginning you also mentioned barbie is fairly good condition. I totally respect your opinion, but actually i don't think that was the case :) So we are not surprised you left a bad review, but at the same time it just wouldn't have been fair to discount the price more, considering our efforts. We will not post any pictures because we appreciate your privacy, but our view is that we did a pretty good job considering the upfront condition. :) When you asked us the first time we did responded to your request for spending extra time if you remember and spent extra time just to assure you are happy with the quality. We are sorry if we didn't manage to reach your expectations, we would be happy to offer you discounted rate if you decide using our services in future. Have a great day. Very happy with the oven cleaning service provided by Optima Cleaners. The technician was punctual, polite and professional. He did a fantastic job cleaning my oven. The oven looked like new after the cleaning!

Great Clean!
I hired Optima Cleaners for a moving our clean. They did a wonderful job. Very friendly, and most importantly for me - reliable. Their rate was also competitive compared to the other x3 company's I received quotes from. Side note; after the first clean I received the full bond back no issues. Would highly recommend and I would certainly use these guys again.

Incompetent from the start
Wrong details taken down, promised 8 am but by 9.30 no one arrived or had the courtesy to let me know what was happening. I called to see what was happening!!!!. The Contractor did call at 11 am but no apology and frankly he could not have cared less.
I DO NOT RECOMEND THEM . Totally Incompetent.

Read more I apologise for the miscommunication. Indeed the technician went to the the same address in Burwood in stead of Normanhurst. I am sorry for this, but it was definitely not on purpose. For us this is also a loss and that was the last thing we wanted. The appointment was originally scheduled for 8am and we have an arrival window of 1 hour. When you called us 8.40 we were indeed not sure where is the technician since he wasn't taking my call (maybe because he was driving ). So at 8.40, obviously you were really upset and requested to cancel the service. I understand this, i guess we did not communicate it with you that we have an arrival window of 1 hour. I would probably do the same. Regardless, technician was at your address by 9am and he tried calling you many times, but no response. Not that it is an excuse. I would assume you were upset and that's totally understandable. Regardless, it's definitely a mistake on our end and we apologise for letting you down. We booked Vik and the team from Optima Cleaners for a Bond Clean + Carpets and they did such an amazing job. Everything was perfectly clean and looked fantastic. There are a few small things that the real estate were picky about but Optima Cleaners came back the next day and fixed everything so that the real estate was perfectly happy. We would use Optima again :)

Oven Clean
Optima cleaners cleaned my oven on New Years Eve!! They pulled out all stops to get it done even with people off sick. The cleaner did my oven, stove top and range hood in quick time and did an excellent job. Oven looks new!! I highly recommend this business

Read more I am quite surprised your review is still here, considering the words you used. As i can see some of your wording has been censored, but still there. As much as we want to be customer oriented and always give our best for our customer, we don't tolerate such discriminating and insulting approach to our technicians, our office staff and generally to the business. On another note If you remember i called you on the day of the service to process the payment and I asked you for your feedback and you said the guys did a great job... Putting your remarks aside, if we focus on the service - I agree, maybe not everything can be seen on the day, but changing you mind from 5 stars to 1 star just seems a bit unfair. My opinion is that your mark is subjective. With all due respect - for the customer of ours that consider this relevant - yes, part of our staff is based in another country, but for some of our clients this is irrelevant. What really matters is how we did the job and whether we had a customer case approach and whether we managed to accomodate your concern promptly.
