Nav, our site supervisor, delivered a flawless experience. The build quality is absolute perfection, and he managed to finish ahead of schedule. The pre-start journey was seamless and stress-free, which really set the tone for everything that followed. Once construction began, the experience only got better. The build itself was amazing—truly flawless—and I honestly couldn’t fault a single thing.

Communication throughout the entire process was next level. Emails were always responded to within hours (never more than six), and every interaction was friendly, professional, and helpful. It’s rare to feel so supported during a build, but Orbit delivered consistently.

A huge shoutout to Danielle, our build coordinator, who was absolutely lovely to deal with, and Zac, our site supervisor—an absolute legend. Both went above and beyond at every opportunity, making sure everything ran smoothly and that we felt confident and informed throughout.

We also had independent private inspections at every stage of the build, and each time we were told the same thing: this was an excellent quality build. That gave us even more peace of mind.

We’ve now been in our home for three months, and even with a few minor issues (as expected with any new build), Orbit’s maintenance team has been outstanding—responsive, organised, and incredibly efficient in resolving anything we needed.

This level of customer service is something you just don’t see anymore, and I feel so grateful that we chose Orbit Homes. The entire journey has been smooth, supportive, and genuinely enjoyable.

throughout the process. By 7am the very next day, a plumber attended my home and identified the issue as an improperly sealed rooftop heating/air conditioning unit that had allowed rainwater into the roof cavity. Later that same day, the heating company attended and sealed the source of the leak.

To complete the repairs, a contractor has already been scheduled to fix the ceiling plaster next Tuesday (03/03/26). I truly appreciate the prompt, efficient, and professional response from Beth and the Orbit Homes team in resolving this issue so quickly. I know many other people not receiving such service from their builders.

At our colour appointment, we had an amazing experience with Caitlin. She guided us through the entire selection process over three days and made it very easy and enjoyable. liked their fixed-price promise. They really stuck to their word when they missed an estate covenant in the initial quote – they just wore the cost themselves, which was awesome.

I asked our sales consultant, Julian to take care of us cause we’ve been burned with other builders a couple of times already and boy, he delivered! When we noticed some windows were missing from the family room plans after the New Home Presentation, he sorted it out by the next day, even though it was a Sunday.

Kylie, our pre-site coordinator is super organised and gets everything done, no fuss. Vanessa, our colour consultant knows her stuff, especially when it comes to helping people like us who aren't design experts, with picking colours and stuff. And their upgrade costs for things like splashback tiles were pretty reasonable. The only thing they could do better is having a visualiser tool, which some other builders have. But Vanessa was so helpful that it wasn't a big deal.

All in all, Orbit Homes is a great choice because they stick to their quotes, they communicate really well, and they have a really good team. The lack of a visualiser is the only minor issue, but overall, we were really happy. We hope it will still be this smooth once our build starts.

My experience with Orbit Homes has been extremely disappointing. They operate like a typical interstate business that does not care about Queenslanders. who does not communicate, does not reply to emails and makes it feel like nothing is happening even when there is a major complaint like I had. It is virtually impossible to meet in person with anyone responsible for resolving issues, and the overall approach feels dismissive of the customer. Orbit Homes were also significantly overpriced. Comparable builders could have saved me at least $150,000 while providing a far more respectful and professional experience both during and after the build. I have lodged a formal complaint with the QBCC, which remains unresolved more than 12 months after handover. The major defects were raised in writing more than three months prior to handover (September 2024), yet as of December 2025 they still have not been rectified. It took until August 2025 for a manager to respond at all, and the response consisted largely of deflecting blame onto staff, with no meaningful action taken since. After escalating matters to the General Manager, I experienced two scheduled maintenance appointments where no one attended—both confirmed in writing however no one showed up. This may be coincidence, but it is consistent with Orbit Homes’ broader pattern of poor communication and follow-through. Emails regularly go unanswered for days or weeks, if they are acknowledged at all. I also raised concerns in writing about what I believe to be an incorrect invoice issued at the lock-up stage. Despite repeated requests, Orbit Homes have refused to engage in a proper discussion or investigation of this matter from my perspective. I attempted to contact the owner directly on multiple occasions with no response. When I raised this with the General Manager, I was told the owner “doesn’t get involved.” Given the ongoing lack of action from management, this was both concerning and unacceptable. Across my dealings with Orbit Homes, five confirmed meetings or appointments were not attended by their staff. Additionally, during the contract signing, an Orbit Homes staff member was openly rude and ignored my partner entirely, stating: “She is not on the contract, I don’t need to talk to her.” No greeting was offered. While initially I thought this was an isolated incident, it ultimately reflected the broader culture and attitude I experienced throughout the process. There is a number of maintenance items on the build that I wanted to get done as part of the 12-month maintenance that I paid for as part of the build. I chose not to send it through as it was not worth the headaches and blame I feel I would get from the Orbit Team – there are minor things on the maintenance list that were documented in April of 2025 and still not rectified as of December 2025, the way I feel they would reply and blame someone else meant I just went without instead of trying to communicate with them about it. Orbit Homes claim they “build dreams,” but my experience has been one of unfulfilled promises, delayed responses, ignored emails, and meetings that no one attends. I would not recommend Orbit Homes.
