disposed of our existing dining table and chairs. I also organised my schedule to accommodate the Friday delivery.

On the Friday I had not heard anything, so I called the customer care line around midday. They did not have a record of any scheduled delivery for us, so transferred us to the store.

The nonchalant attitude of this person astounded me, I was informed that a delivery had not been booked in, and the earliest available delivery would be about another week away. Given that the store had failed to book the delivery I would have expected that they would want to attempt and rectify this as best as possible.

This impacted us because we had organised a family get together for the following day and now had no dining table to use. Relaying this to the staff at store didn't seem to faze them either.

I can understand that a mistake may have been made in booking the delivery, however I struggle with the lack of interest in correcting that mistake.

What I do not understand is if, as we were told, the items were all in stock, when, if ever they were going to be delivered. Had I not called presumably the order would have sat there in perpetuity.

To add insult to during our time in store we were told that the price of the table would be going up the following week. Imagine my surprise when I saw the same table being advertised for around $300 less than we had paid.

Overall, I am happy with the quality of the table and chairs thus far. The delivery team were very efficient as well.

This being my first ever purchase from Oz Design Furniture I expect it will also be my last.

Needs customer service and management training – The product was fine, but the poor organisation of the store, the storeroom and the constant emails telling me to come and pick up my goods left a lot to be desired. quality control in place. For the last 5 months I have been very patient with them to bring resolution to this problem. But enough is enough, I have given them enough chances and wasted my time and energy in organising delivery, stayed at home for delivery, cleared the massive packaging. ottoman finally arrived but again in wrong colour. the delivery drivers told me that they will report the issue with the head office, I went to the store and was told they will inform the head office. Nobody contacted us until I sent them an email, thats fine... however the correspondence with the team 2nd time around has been horrible to say the least. Now they expect me to wait till end of May to potentially get a wrong colour sofa and ottoman again. it's a bloody joke. its understandable if it happens once but it has become a saga, they are not giving a refund so I can bloody move on and sort my house, instead they are forcing me to wait 5 more months!!

No Customer Care – We ordered a dining table last November and were told they were in stock and would be delivered before Christmas. curt, computer generated email stating that the table would not be delivered for another month. This went on for 6 months. Finally, we got a text saying the table was in and was ready for delivery. To our extreme disappointment, the table was stained a completely different colour to the one we ordered. We emailed customer service the next day. After no reply, four days later I rang through my concerns. I was told to send through proof of purchase and photos, which I did immediately. A week later I had heard nothing so I rang again. Customer service said they never received the email, even though it had sent on my computer. They said they had had a lot of computer issues lately. I made them wait on the line until they could confirm they had the photos. This was confirmed and I was told someone would get back to me. I received an email the next day claiming no responsibility for the different coloured table as timber can vary in colour. We will never buy anything from OzDesign Furniture again. They couldn’t care less about their customers!

So beautiful. The furniture has given a great lift to our new house – Our Mango creek ETU, side tables and dining table are gorgeous. Everything we had hoped for...solid, beautifully built, great quality. The staff at Castle Hill were great to deal with in the first instance. Even after our house didn't finish on time, they allowed some more time for our furniture to be stored. The delivery guys did a great job...very careful.

Great – I like the raw appearance of my table which has raw top and white legs, but I was surprised that I needed to varnish it to maintain its' appearance. I would have expected it to be "raw look" rather than actually "raw". The salesperson said that the best thing to maintain its' appearance would be to varnish it. Show details

Great quality, delivery was delayed by 6 weeks – Was frustrating trying to get an answer on the expected delivery date, felt like I was getting the run around.
