back i was told that the special was the best price, I was hooked by then so didn’t say anymore, but don’t say that in the first place and get my hopes up. I was originally planning to collect it using a Ute to save on delivery. I was told that it was heavy and weighed 80 kilos in the box it’s packed in, and I’d be unable to remove drawers to make it lighter for moving. I was also told the delivery people don’t take away the packaging. When it was delivered it was brought into the house and placed where I wanted it, fair enough. However as it’s heavy it was quite task to remove it from the packaging as it was so heavy. Oz Design, you know it is heavy and I’ve paid $99.00 to take it 12 kms, the delivery staff should unpack too. I thought that was poor service once you’d got my money.

Buyer be warned – Fell in love with table, warm in colour, built solid, the edges beautiful curves, thought it would be perfect for my home. Paid $1455 on sale, normal $1999. Customer care have advised me that the supplier oversea has advised them that this is the natural colour of the wood. (Which it is not) I do understand wood Colour variations, wood grain, knots, bore marks etc which is why we bought it.

Not an Bright yellow line down the center approx 5mm in width and 90cm length

I asked them to come and look at item, they have responded with a decline and advising me that management will not be replacing.

Wish I could attach photo to show you how visual this unnatural line is on this table top.

I feel this is the standard responce customer care responds to all the customer.

I’m gutted all I wanted was an table like what is on display.

respond but also very helpful in suggesting options as to what can be done with the damaged product. Within a few days, the matter was resolved and we were offered a full credit of the amount instore along with free collection of the old product and delivery of the new one. Although the same product was not being manufactured anymore, we ended up purchasing another unit to suit our needs. Even though we were a bit hesitant to contact OZ Design customer service upon noticing a serious damage to our product, not knowing how, and if, they would respond (due to our past experience of terrible customer service with a different furniture company), I must say we were thoroughly impressed and well looked after! A very big thank you to the team for such great and professional service. We absolutely love all your unique and statement furniture pieces in store and will surely continue to shop from it knowing that should anything be wrong, there is an extremely wonderful team of individuals willing to help out! Thank you once again for resolving our matter to our satisfaction.

Never again – Poor instructions and not happy with the quality of some of the chairs, as they were not drilled out for screws to go in & are wobbly. If I had known that I could have got someone to assemble for me, I would have. I think that for the trouble we had to assemble our purchase, not worth the $149 each Chair. I also think that the delivery fee is way too high but I had no option.

The product itself is beautiful however the communication between the store , warehouse and area manager was poor – We ordered the product in November 2023 and was advise 6 week wait we waited 6 weeks to be then told the product was delayed due to issues at the Australian ports. another as one person would call and say … and then the next person would say something different. We finally received our product 18th Jan 2024. Disappointing that all the store could offer was free drop off delivery not even a discount or the product put together. In future I’ll only buy a product in stock as this has left a bad experience for us.
