I'm writing to formally express my disappointment with a recent experience I had following the purchase of a dining table. Upon its arrival I lightly dusted it and, placed a tablecloth over it. quality control. I contacted the store (Marion) and, was instructed to email customer service with photos of the issue. After about a week, I received a disappointing response stating that OZ DESIGN could not assist further and emphasised that it is the customer's responsibility to inspect purchases on delivery. Given the defects only became visible once the cloth was removed. This experience has not only left me dissatisfied as a customer but, has also led to two potential customers- family members who had been planning to shop with OZ DESIGN to reconsider their purchase decisions. I request that you review this matter seriously and offer an appropriate resolution. Under Australian Consumer Law, customers are entitled to goods of acceptable quality, free from defects and fit for purpose. The table clearly does not meet these basic consumer guarantees. Unless I receive a satisfactory resolution, I am prepared to lodge a complaint with the relevant Consumer Affairs authority and, pursue further action if required. Anastasia Sideris

Well done , clever design – Oooh I do love my Lux Carrie Sofa Bed . It is soft and Luxurious to feel . It is very comfortable and spongy but at the same time supportive . Best decision for the year ! Takes up much less room in an Already small bedroom . Perfect for visitors and long enough , so your feet don’t hang over the end , for sleeping . Easy to transform into a bed within seconds . 5 star service – First- excellent service from the staff at this location. Bought dining chairs and barstools. Not only did these meet specific criteria for our style, they were also the best value out of several furniture stores we visited. Very happy with everything Show reply

Product Short-coming – Good customer service in shop when buying. Plenty 'info' while waiting for delivery. No real updates on delivery date until about two weeks out. I had to chase up to get time expected on delivery day- the follow up hd not been received the afternoon before. Luckily got someone in storeroom who followed up for me then... BUT... Did not note then that the "rollers' or casters on my Batilda chairs were not rolling freely. Had hoped they'd loosen up with time. They have not. I suggest this is a product defect. It is certainly less functionality that reasonable expected.

Will not come to visit again – We simply buy 4 chairs from the store. The staff gave me 2 new ones, and 1 unboxed one (claimed to be new) and 1 assembled one, which is out of our expectation, although they gave us discount for the assembled one. the unboxed one (claimed to be brand new): wrong parts in the box, there is a question about whether it is really a brand new one. called back, the staff response is awful, he asked me to get my right parts back in store, he said it is the same. NO! it is definitely not the same, we just want a brand new chair!

we finally returned the assembled one and that "claimed to be new" one back and reordered 2 brand new chairs, and paid them in full payment. they have done nothing about the mess except saying "sorry".

I will not trust this store anymore.

4 months to get this replaced Now being replaced - not only the initial problems remains - top with cracks - we have a new manufacturing error - Dinning chairs and Dinning table stands do not match ( Chairs can't slide in ). While getting replacement delivery this Friday ,When I point out the problem - Delivery Guy told me to call Store. Calling the Store I was tole to share the pics and Someone will contact me on Sunday. Now today when i spoke to the store again @ 1:10 p.m Adelaide Time - ideally it should be them calling me not the other way around There is another staff there (male - dnt wanna give his name again - did't got it on first go) - who clearly said call the customer care and they can't do any thing Manager is still not there (I mean Store without Manager for last more than 3 days ) I guess that's the reason you have such a Bad Service Please note its more than an year One year now I am patiently waiting for correct Dining table to be delivered.

Is there some thing you guys can to deliver your promise

I hope this reach to someone who really take pride servicing the customer and not just providing false promising an inconvenience

it was a mistake and the chairs could go to the Marion store from Wingfield the next working day for us to collect as we live near there. However that became a week wait so we picked up the 6 chairs from Wingfield ourselves. There was no mention of any reduction in the delivery cost. We may as well have picked the lot up ourselves and saved $119.

opportunity to pay more for delivery to cover assembly and removal of packaging we would have happily taken it up. In saying that, we managed to assemble ourselves without too much effort.
