Worst customer and delivery service – Bought a couch from them and they got very unprofessional delivery service. Discussed with them the day before delivery and asked them to deliver in the morning before 11 am and the girl in the phone assured me it will be in the morning. appointment @11:20 and asked them to come after 12. They came at 12 and left after 7 minute. Rang them and asked them to wait for 5 minutes but did not wait and told that their manager asked them to leave. Now they want me to pay for another delivery cause they blame me that I was not home. Spoke to store manager as well and she is telling me the same. If I had made mistake, I was happy to pay another delivery fee. I asked them for refund which I have paid for the couch but they said they can refund only after deducting 30% as admin fee. 30% for admin fee- what a expensive admin they got. This is my first and last experience with them and request other people to avoid shopping with them. Customer service centre is hopeless as well. Never ever do any shopping with them.

only on holiday and only responding to emails. I asked the manager to cancel my order as it was not going to arrive for Christmas and I was going to get one from IKEA. The manager responded to my email and totally ignored what I had asked for and gave me an update on the shipping. I called head office and was assured that another manager was going to get back to me before Christmas …..STILL WAITING! Christmas has come and gone and my daughter was so unhappy at Christmas because she never got her present. I couldn’t go to IKEA as I didn’t want to land up with 2 desks. Oz Design has the WORST communication, totally lied about possible shipping delays and took my money. I will never ever shop there again! The biggest disappointment is that EVERY person I was communicating with was from AUSTRALIA! Terrible manager at Essendon as she/he (could be either by the name) threw a young boy working in the store under the bus as he had to deliver the news to me! What manager does that?

Furniture – Happy with my purchases but the delivery fee of $179 is outrageous, no other store came close to this fee having had deliveries from others stores. What you save on a sale you end up paying on your delivery.

chair arm rest is broken .( Picture attached ) I paid $659 and after only 2 month the chair arm rest got broken. I called to the shop and they suggested to go through customer service I emailed them on 25th Aug. 2022 but no respond at all then again sent an email but same continued Absolutely ignored by Oz design . Please don't buy anything from this company . There are other reputed shop which will help you when you need help even after buying product like Harvey Norman ,amart and etc. .

Comfiest couch ever! – We recently purchased the Chloe couch and chaise from Oz Design at Essendon DFO. The couch is so comfortable and perfect for our family of 5. The staff in store were very helpful and friendly and the warehouse was able to store our new couch until we were ready for delivery. The delivery people arrived within the scheduled time. Almost perfect, Very happy!! – I have ordered the arm chair and two ottomans for bed room and dressing area. Presented with plenty of option to chose from and customize fabric and color. Great custom built Aussie made sofa – Very satisfied with my purchase at a very fair price at OzDesign. The customised sofa (Made in Australia) took approx 6 weeks to arrive which is very quick compared with other stores. The quality of the sofa appears to be excellent, years of future use will tell. warranty. This is an area for improvement and would be a great thing to work towards improving. Delivery was prompt and efficient, drivers calling before arrival and very courteous. There is a lot of plastic waste in the packaging (which is necessary) and I think if the drivers offered to unpack the sofa and take the plastic with them, that would have been the icing on the cake. Overall, extremely satisfied and those items above are just the one-percenters as we say.

Very happy with my couch. Delivery experience was not great – My Hamlet 3 seater with ottoman is fantastic. Super comfy. Great design - goes with a lot of different styles. The delivery experience was not great. The 3 seater came in a huge cardboard box which was simply left by the delivery people in my property. Similarly, disposing of the huge amount of cardboard is going to take weeks. I contacted the store and was told that I simply had to cut the box away - not a simple task. I then contacted the support team online who directed me to the delivery information as stated on the website where I could have opted for a $70 additional fee for the delivery people to un-package my couch and remove the rubbish. Unfortunately, as I purchased the item in store, I was not made aware of the options. So telling me that there are options on the website was meaningless at that point. After this I was told the "issue had been escalated and apologies for the inconvenience".

For anyone ordering bulky items in store note that there is the option to have the items un-packaged and rubbish taken away for $70.

Love my new cabinet – I'm really glad we decided to go and physically look at this piece of furniture in the Essendon store, rather than order online as delivery charges were considerably cheaper. We also love the fact that it came assembled, all we needed to do was bolt in the legs. Show details

the furniture is good but the delivery service was a ripped off – when i bought my furniture no one told me that I had to pay extra ( beside the delivery fees $95 )to unpack and take away the cardboard. the driver told me that it wasn't he's job he only get paid $70 for the delivery service only. I would like to know what were the other $25 for.
