Beautiful furniture – The salesperson at Hoppers was fantastic. Very helpful and knowledgeable guiding us into the perfect dining table and chairs for our tastes. The prices were amazing, we took advantage of some slightly marked stock at incredible prices. Poor quality and disgusting customer experience – This has been a nightmare !!! I purchased two Stratton couches. After sitting on them for a short term they started to pile. sofa was pilling due to the clothes we are wearing and general use. They recommended a depilling machine . I informed them that I didn't think I needed to do this considering I had the sofa for a short period of time. I purchased the machine so I would adhere to "following the process " and the issue has come back after a day. The material is also discolored, and it looks disgusting. This process has been distressing. I am very angry and disappointed that Oz Design have not been able to provide appropriate customer care or remedy to my ongoing issue. They have now said that they would keep my photos on file and reassess in 3 months' time . I am curious to know what they expect me to do for the next 3 months. Do they think this issue with disappear? Do they think the piling will settle and stop over time? Who knows? The responses from multiple staff at Hoppers Crossing has been inconsistent, it's under warranty, it's not under warranty, "just follow the process I agree with you ". Clearly, they don't agree. This is an example of the staff listening to respond rather than listening to understand. The fabric is under warranty for 12 months and Oz Design are choosing to ignore this. Under Australian Consumer Law they have breached Section 54, 55, 56 and 59. I will never again purchase any item from Oz Design.

Side table buffet. Great design, looks fantastic but the quality of materials is very poor – The store has a good range and friendly staff. The quality of the wooden products are fairly poor and definitely not worth the retail price. Show details

A Joke! – This happened during their WH sale. I'm about to pay for the furniture then suddenly the salesperson told me that it's already been sold by her manager in their WH sale? They should have prioritized the buyer who is buying this from the store and not the buyer in another store/WH. The sales person said that she couldn't do anything because it's the manager who told her and it is out of her control???? Is this a joke???? Show details

We love furniture that we have chosen i.e. a dining table and six chairs, double bookshelf and a single bookshelf. We would’ve loved to buy the buffet and hutch that matched our dining suite only that the drawers didn’t have runners and so therefore opening and shutting the drawers was not pleasant as it was wood on wood. commented that other shoppers have commented on this also and that they have reported what the customers don’t like. If this is so then clearly no one is listening. It is a shame because the buffet and hutch that we would’ve bought would’ve matched our table and chairs beautifully but because of that we had to go elsewhere and get something that still looks good, but may not match entirely. We love our bookshelves. They have done the job we needed them to do and we are very happy. The team at Oz design are pleasant to deal with the store is clean and tidy, and we enjoyed walking around and looking at everything.

Staff were incredibly friendly and very helpful. We order led two sofa beds for delivery to two different locations and they made it an easy experience. The Carrie Sofa Bed I can highly recommend it’s very comfortable for laying and lounging on. Show details ·  1

Love my new sofa – Sales staff were very helpful and spent time advising me so I could select the right fabric. I was disappointed with the delivery though- they were running late and didn’t call to let me know. Also, the sofa was really well wrapped and protected and I wasn’t informed that I would have to unwrap it myself. This was quite difficult to do alone. Poor service – My sister had waited three months for an item. It finally arrived at the warehouse but was broken. Now you expect her to wait again for a replacement. You refuse to refund her money unless you withhold 30% which is $450. From what I read of consumer law the pandemic allows for extended wait times. However when supplier can not deliver in reasonable time the consumer is entitled to a FULL refund.
